CRAB ORCHARD -- Services for Louis J. Rogers, 78, of Pleasant Plains, Ohio, formerly of Lincoln County, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home by Junior Pittman. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
He died Sunday in Blue Ash, Ohio.
Pallbearers will be Joe, David, Michael and Daniel Washburn, Jason Douglas, Michael Lawson.

Roy Helton
Roy Helton, 70, of Adams Street died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 15, 1930, in Corbin, he was the son of the late Arthur and Pearl Hubbard McCormack Helton. He was a former owner of Wood and Helton Gulf Oil Distributorship. He was an Army corporal, having served during the Korean War, and a member of First Christian Church. He was a former director of United Senior Care of Beaufort and Charleston, S.C. He also was a former director of Florence County Council on Aging, past president of Danville Jaycees, and a Kentucky Colonel. He attended Centre College and was a graduate of University of Kentucky.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Gardner Helton of Danville; a son, Ephraim W. Helton of Danville; a daughter, Julie Gray Nelson of Dallas, Texas; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home.

PERRYVILLE -- Thelma Pittman White, 95, of East Fifth Street, Perryville, died Saturday at Charleston Health Care Center.
Born Sept. 13, 1905, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Dr. H.M. and Carrie Bower Pittman. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Perryville Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Ellis of Danville and Mary Helen Cooley of Perryville; a son, Marion F. White of Perryville; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Foster, and a granddaughter.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. Guy McCombs. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robbie and Dickie Mayes, Charlie Bradley, Charles Sharp, A.L. Crain and Ellis Croshaw.
Honorary pallbearers are Tommy May and David Young.

LARGO, Fla. -- Beatrice Wayne Holton, 82, of Seminole, Fla., died Friday at Bayfront Medical Center.
Born in Parksville, she was a registered dietitian and a member of Lake Seminole Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her mother, Hazel Roberts of Parksville; two sons, Victor Routenberg of Redington Shores, Fla., and David Routenburg of Vienna, Va.; and four grandchildren.

French of Pleasant Plains, Jeanette Turner of Morrow, Ohio, Sheila Douglas of Cincinnati and Patty Washburn of Goshen, Ohio; a son, Ronnie J. Rogers of Pleasant Plains; a sister, Marie Gwyn of Crab Orchard; a brother, Clyde Rogers of Stanford; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.

Born April 13, 1913, in Boyle County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ella Sutherland Shepperson. She was owner of Virgie's Beauty Shop, and a life member of Church of Christ in Danville. She was the widow of Nelson Dunsmore and Francis Shank

She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy L. Dunsmore.

LIBERTY -- Lola Conatser, 94, of Mount Washington, formerly of Liberty, died Thursday at Green Meadows Health Care.
Born Aug. 14, 1906, in Jamestown, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late James and Sarah Buck Reed. She was a retired shoe store manager and a member of Fern Creek United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Bates Conatser.
Survivors include four daughters, Mae Knight of Radcliff, Geraldine Reynolds of Campbellsville, Louise Hawkins and Kathleen Carmicle, both of Louisville; two sons, Curtis Conatser and James Conatser, both of Louisville; a sister, Ova Jones of Carlisle; four brothers, Dewey Reed of Franklin, Ind., William Reed and Harold Reed, both of Cincinnati, and Foster Reed of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

SCIENCE HILL -- Jim Padgett, 46, of Eubank died Wednesday at his home.
Born Aug. 15, 1954, in Waynesburg, he was a son of the late Harve and Bessie Yantz Padgett. He was a member of Eubank Baptist Church.

Noble C. Daugherty
Services for Noble C. Daugherty, 90, of Junction City will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul Floyd. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born Sept. 24, 1910, in Strunk, he was a son of the late Jasper and Haley Wilson Daugherty. He was a carpenter and former employee of Penn Ventilation. He attended Shelby City Baptist Church. He was instrumental in establishing the sewer system in Junction City, was a historian, and was active in the Railroad Days Festival. He was the widower of Evelyn Owens Daugherty.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph Daugherty of Independence, Kan., and Charles "Buddy" Daugherty of Mercer County; four daughters, Lois Floyd of Somerset, Opal Ziemniak of Montgomery, Ala., Barbara Tarter of Moreland and Pat Seay of Danville; a brother, Gene Daugherty of Junction City; a sister, Mildred Culbertson of Junction City; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty J. Daugherty.
Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are Harold Leach, Sevier Austin, Joe Denson, Gean Devine and James Jenkins.
