HARRODSBURG -- A memorial service for Owen Springate, 64, of Louisville, formerly of Harrodsburg, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
He died Tuesday at his home.
Born Oct. 23, 1938, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Robert and Hester Sanders Springate.
Survivors include two sisters, Adeline York of Bullitt County and Kathleen Sprowl of Jefferson County.

Omar M. Fish
Omar Marcus Fish, son of Sharon L. Fish of Danville, was stillborn Nov. 27 at Central Baptist Hospital.
He was the grandson of Anna Margaret Fish of Danville and the late Eugene Fish Sr.
A twin brother, Jaimar Mikees Fish, survives.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Hilldale Cemetery by the Rev. Richard Hill.

Dorsie L. Miller
LYONS, Ohio -- Dorsie L. Miller, 69, of Lyons died Sunday at Ohio Hospital in Toledo.
Born Aug. 6, 1933, in Paint Lick, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ada Sparks Ballard. She was an employee of Fulton County Emergency Medical Service and had worked at nursing homes. She was a member of Lyons Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth "Tony" Miller; a daughter, Teresa Owczarski of Southland, Mich.; two sons, Rick Arnold of Toledo and Jeff Gilvin of Mannsfield, Ohio; two sisters, Opal Lay of Lancaster and Mary Ruth Speaks of Lexington; three brothers, Edward Ballard, Glendon Ballard and Bobby Ballard, all of Paint Lick; three grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home by the Rev. Brent M. Pomeroy. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today.

Services for Ivan Lee "Boo" Murphy Jr., 64, were 11 a.m. today at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Harold Best. Burial was in Bellevue Cemetery.
He died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Hunter D. Burton
HARRODSBURG -- Services for Hunter D. Burton, 87, of Linden Avenue will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Harrodsburg Christian Church by Don Chase and Phil Williams. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with military rites.
He died Monday at St. Joseph Hospital.
Born Sept. 24, 1915, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late James E. and Hallie Brewer Burton. He was owner and operator of Burton Oil and H&B; Sanitation. He was a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church where he was an elder and Sunday School teacher.
He was past president of Harrodsburg Rotary Club where he had 40 years of perfect attendance, past president of Danville Country Club, and a past president of Mercer County Chamber of Commerce and was instrumental in its organization. He was a co-founder of Mercer little league football and past president of the Kentucky Housing Association. He was a life-member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also had worked for Southern Railroad, Ashland Oil and Marathon Oil companies and was executive director of Harrodsburg Housing Authority.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Zella Burton; a son, Eddie Burton of Harrodsburg; three daughters, Susie Duhe of San Clemente, Calif., and Ann Hunter Burton and Louise Bush, both of Harrodsburg; a sister, Mary Hookway of Tustin, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Ison, Jack Coleman, Jim McGlone, Jim Moseley, Amos Jenkins and Larry Forgey. Honorary pallbearers are members of Harrodsburg Rotary Club and employees of H&B; Sanitation.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after noon Thursday at the church.
Memorials may go to Harrodsburg Christian Church, James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital Foundation, or Harrodsburg Educational Foundation.

Natalie I. Harris
LEXINGTON -- Natalie I. Harris, 88, of Lexington, formerly of Danville, died Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital.
Born March 16, 1914, in Mackville, she was the daughter of the late Sweeney and Ethel Brown. She was a retired Kentucky School for the Deaf teacher. She was a member of St. James AME Church in Danville for 70 years and held various offices including trustee, superintendent and Sunday School teacher. She also was a member and treasurer of the church choir, a member of the missionary board, secretary/treasurer of the Benevolent Society and secretary of Willing Workers Club. She was a delegate to the AME conference many times. She also was a member of the Busy Sunshine Club, Order of the Eastern Star, White Rose Club and the Domestic Economy Club. She was the widow of Herbert L. Harris.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. James AME Church. Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at the church.

WAYNESBURG -- Harry L. Ferguson, 70, of Hwy. 1781 died Nov. 30 at his home.
Born Jan. 14, 1932, in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late George T. and Anna Ray Ferguson. He was a hospital supply supervisor for 27 years in LaPorte, Ind., and the widower of Harriet Jones Ferguson.
Survivors include two sons, Brian Ferguson of LaPorte and Thomas Ferguson of Bremen, Ind.; three daughters, Vicki Dowell and Brenda Britton, both of Waynesburg, and Jeri Ransbottom of LaPorte; a brother, John Ferguson of Waynesburg; a sister, Barbara J. Ogle of Villa Rica, Ga.; 23 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Dec. 7 at Haverstock Funeral Home in LaPorte. Burial will be in Rolling Prairie Cemetery, Rolling Prairie, Ind.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. the day of services.

SPRINGFIELD -- Judy Kelley, 43, of Wilmore died Saturday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
She was a Casey County native.
Survivors include her husband, William L. Kelley; a son, Ryan Overstreet of Wilmore; two stepsons, Ernest Kelley and Barney Kelley, both of Nicholasville; two stepdaughters, Lisa Kelley and Cathy Kelley, both of Danville; and three step grandchildren.

Chester A. Sebastian
LANCASTER -- Chester Allen Sebastian, 78, of Walker Pike, Paint Lick, died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 23, 1924, in Garrard County, he was the son of the late Homer and Mary Lee Baker Sebastian. He was a farmer and a retired security guard for Bluegrass Army Depot. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Disabled American Veterans and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Gracie Mills Sebastian; three daughters, Elaine C. Curran of Lake Purdys, N.Y., Pamela S. Williams of Danville and Vickie L. Maupin of Paint Lick; a son, Larry A. Sebastian of Lancaster; a sister, Hazel Locker of Paint Lick; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Revs. Billy Pack and Jim Cook. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
