MORELAND -- A memorial service for Carol Edna Hawley Elkins, 71, of Elkins Road, Kings Mountain, will be 5:30 p.m. Monday at Stanford Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Burial will be in Elkins Cemetery.
She died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born March 31, 1931, in Utica, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Wayne T. and Marjorie Baldwin Hawley.
She was a homemaker and a Jehovah's Witness. She was the widow of John Franklin Elkins.
Survivors include her two sons, John A. Elkins of Petersburg, Mich., and Vernon L. Elkins of Cincinnati; three daughters, Judie E. Jenkins and Carol A. Arnett, both of Kings Mountain, and Mary M. Burdette of Stanford; a sister, Doris Laughlin of Mesa, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

George "Billy" Hiter
STANFORD -- Services for George "Billy" Hiter, 57, of Stanford will be 2 p.m. today at Spurlin Funeral Home by Lindsey Yocum.
Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
He died Thursday at his home.
Born Jan. 29, 1945, in Danville, he was the son of the late George and Josephine Southerland Hiter Jr. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Wilkerson Hiter; two sons, George Michael Hiter of Crestwood and Mark Anthony Hiter of Stanford; a daughter, Betty Michelle Hiter-Tingle of Shelbyville; a sister, Phyllis Jane Ramsey of Shelbyville; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gill Pulliam, James Carriss, Tony Douthitt, Brad Tingle, Bertrice Riley and Doug Southerland.

Services for Gary Snow, 44, of Danville Pike, Moreland, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by Dawson Cox. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Boyle Post 46.
He died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 23, 1958, in Danville, he was the son of the late William L. and Lora Wilson Snow. He was a maintenance technician for Dana Corp. and a former ATR employee. He was an ordained minister and a member of Concerned Bikers of Kentucky and Refreshing Ministries in Moreland.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Thomas Snow; a son, Jassen Snow of Moreland; a daughter, Kayla Snow of Moreland; a brother, Jimmy Snow of Moreland; four sisters, Brenda Goode of Taylorsville, Wanda Pittman of Moreland, and Linda Ledford and Regina Sheene, both of Crab Orchard; and two grandchildren.

Born July 30, 1927, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mae Baugh Raley. She was an employee of American Greetings Co., a member of Perryville Presbyterian Church, and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars 3634 ladies auxiliary. She was the widow of Harold Tate.
Survivors include a son, Harold Tate Jr.; four daughters, Patricia Chumbley of Harrodsburg, Shirley Hourigan of Gravel Switch, Nettie Elliott of Memphis, Tenn., and Darlene Shearer of Danville; a sister, Joyce Phillips of Harrodsburg; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Pallbearers will be Todd Lane, Jared Cocanougher, Cheyene, Brian, Austin and Blue Shearer, Mark Tate and Adam Chumbley. Honorary pallbearers will be Toby Chumbley and Chris Elliott.

Born March 7, 1948, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Pete and Stella Hixon Yates. He was a self-employed auto body repairman and a Baptist.

Joe Ann S. Estes
STANFORD -- Services for Joe Ann Stewart Estes, 60, of the Geneva community will be 2 p.m. Friday at Geneva Baptist Church by Mike Hatter. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery, McKinney.

Born April 18, 1942, in Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Francis Houchens Stewart. She was a former employee of McDonalds and Dairy Queen in Stanford and was a member of McKinney Depot Cruisers Car Club.
Survivors include her husband, Burl Estes; a son, Wayne Bowles of Hustonville; two daughters, Donna C. Bowles and Sandra F. Bowles, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; a brother, Roy D. Stewart of Glasgow; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Raymond and Mary Reynolds
SOMERSET -- Services for Raymond and Mary Reynolds were Wednesday at Pulaski Funeral Home by the Revs. Johnnie Adminson and Clyde Strunk, and Denver Hislope. Burial was in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The couple died Friday. They were the parents of Jeff Reynolds of Fort Thomas and Jennifer Miller of Nicholasville. The had a granddaughter.
Mary, 66, was born March 14, 1936, in Wayne County and was the daughter of the late Vernon and Ida Morrow Brockman. She was a retired Pulaski County teacher and a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church and Gideons International Ladies Auxiliary.
Other survivors include two brothers, Robert Brockman of West Carrollton, Ohio, and Lucian Brockman of Miamisburg, Ohio; and a sister, Elizabeth Thompson of Beaver Creek, Ohio.
Raymond, 69, was born Oct. 12, 1933, in Lincoln County and was the son of the late Cloyd and Hazel Anderson Reynolds. He was a retired guidance counselor for Pulaski County High School and Somerset Community College. He was a member of Gideons International and Calvary Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He also was an Army veteran having served with the 101st Airborne Division.
Other survivors include three brothers, Harold Reynolds of Danville, Jim Reynolds of Somerset and Eugene Reynolds of Russellville; four sisters, Audrey Blankenship of Crab Orchard, Evelyn Taylor and Glenda Estes, both of Stanford, and Libby Hawkins of Hope, Ind.

Survivors include a son, Charles R. Scott of Lancaster; a daughter, Frances Layton of Lancaster; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
