CRAB ORCHARD -- Janet Adams, 61, died Monday at her home. She was the wife of Milton Adams.
Born Sept. 18, 1939 in Rockcastle County, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Pearl Brown Brummett.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Shelia Bryant of Brodhead; two sons, Roger and Kenny Adams of Crab Orchard; a brother, Leonard Brummett of Marion, Ind.; two sisters, Bonnie Payne of St. Paris, Ohio and Francis Davis of Lexington; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Martha Baldwin and Christine King; and two brothers, Homer and Billy Brummett.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home by Vernon Willard. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Church of Christ cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers are Charles, Tom and Everett Adams; Jerry, Larry and Billy Cummins, Art Hibbard and Donald Cable.

Ida Mae Davis
LANCASTER -- Ida Mae Davis, 82, of Davis Avenue, Lancaster, died Monday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 3, 1918 in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Linda Sanders Baker. She was a member of the Lancaster Baptist Church.
She was the widow of J.W. Davis.
Survivors include a son, Billy Davis of Lancaster; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelby Jean Moberly and a grandson, Gary Michael Lester.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Ramsey Funeral Home by Rev. Zora Oliver. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Wednesday.
Active pallbearers are J.B. Jones, Matt Morrow, Donald Ramsey, Roy Gibson, Jason Miller and Sonny Lester. Honorary pallbearers Aaron Lester.

LIBERTY -- Steven Lee Allen, 44, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Liberty, died Sunday in Cincinnati. Born April 21, 1957 in Cincinnati, he was the son of Lowell and Louise Brown of Hustonville Street in Liberty. He was disabled.
He was a member of Newtonville Baptist Church in Cincinnati.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Osborne Allen; four daughters, Jennifer, Holly, Allison and Maggie Allen; and a brother, Brian Allen of Westchester, Ohio.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty by Clifford DeHart. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Donald Quentin and Charles Allen, Gene Vaught, Allen Osborne and Thomas Hamm.

LANCASTER -- Grace Horseman, 92, resident of Davis Avenue, Lancaster, died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born Jan. 1, 1909 in Knox County to the late George and Cora Petters Chadwell, she was a member of the Maple Avenue Church of Christ. She was the widow of Walter Horseman.
Survivors include a son, Virgil Horseman of Stanford; a daughter, Georgetta Hurt of Lexington; a brother, Paul Chadwell of Somerset; and a sister, Martha Frances Reynolds of Lexington.
