Betty Sue Carroll, 55, of Alum Springs died Friday at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington.
Born Feb. 21, 1946, in Parks-ville, she was a daughter of Dollie Phillips Rogers of Parksville and the late Roy Rogers. She was former employee of Palm Beach.
Additional survivors include her husband, Chris Carroll; a daughter, Gail Wilson of Gravel Switch; a son, Travis Carroll of Alum Springs; two brothers, Larry Rogers and Donnie Rogers, both of Parksville; three sisters, Judy Davidson of Parksville, Sharon Reardon of Lebanon and Libby Rogers of Perryville; and a granddaughter.

Danny W. Benge
CRAB ORCHARD -- Danny Wayne Benge, 54, of Mike Genton Road died Friday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital, Lancaster.
Born June 18, 1947, in Crab Orchard, he was the son of the late Homer and Nellie McClure Benge. He was an employee of the U.S. Postal Service, working at the Crab Orchard post office for more than 23 years, and attended Fairview Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Miller Benge; two daughters, Shelly Renae Benge and Sonya Ann McKinney, both of Crab Orchard; and two sisters, Glenda Ferrell of Crab Orchard and Jeannie Elder of Bee Lick.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home by Curt Harrington. Burial will be in Mount Zion Church of Christ Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Leamond Padgett, Junior Shackleford, Bob Ridner, Billy Bob Hardy, Mike Padgett, Keith Benge, Estill Baldwin and Greg Benge.
Visitation is from 3-9 p.m. today.

MIDDLETOWN -- Virginia Evelyn Grimes, 81 of Louisville died Thursday at Christian Health Care Center.
Born in Somerset, she was a retied bank teller and a member of Middletown Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bert B. Grimes; a daughter, Pamela Owens; and two grandchildren.
Services were Saturday at Heady-Willhite-Ballard Funeral Home. Burial was in Bellevue Cemetery.

CRAB ORCHARD -- Coy Middleton, 66, of Skyline Drive, Stanford, died Friday at his home.
Born Dec. 10, 1934, in Stanford, he was a son of the late Joe and Lula Cummins Middleton. He was a retired diesel mechanic with International Harvester, a former Marine and recipient of a Good Conduct Medal and a member of Pine Grove Church of Christ.
Survivors include a sister, Nancy Dunaway of Stanford; and a brother, Johnny Middleton of Marion, Ohio.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Pine Grove Church of Christ by Curt Harrington. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be after Monday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home.

Truman E. Burgin
HARRODSBURG -- Services for Truman Elwood Burgin, 90, of Noel Avenue will be 2 p.m. today at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Revs. Robert DeFoor and Edwin Freeman. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
He died Friday at his home.
Born Oct. 7, 1910, in Lawrenceburg, he was a son of the late Tyler P. and Truman Frances Case Burgin. He was a former owner and operator of Mercer Stone Co. and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church and the Glad Hand Sunday School class.
He served on the board of directors of Harrodsburg First Financial Bank and was a former member of the Harrodsburg Optimist Club.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Dennis Burgin; a son, Joseph Burgin of Harrodsburg; a brother, Preston Burgin of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Maurice M. Ritter of Louisville and Garnett G. Gibson of Lawrenceburg; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Active pallbearers will be Armond Bottom, Kenneth Burns, Harold Case, L.G. Meeks, Calvin Wiley and Jack Hood. Honorary pallbearers will be Glad Hand Sunday School Class, Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

LIBERTY -- Irene Lay, 76, of Dunnville died Wednesday at Russell County Hospital.
Born Aug. 19, 1924, in Casey County, she was a daughter of Lucy Allen Murphy of Liberty and the late G.W. Murphy. She was a homemaker, a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church and the widow of Arlis Lay.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Lay of Dunnville and Garnett Lay of Russell Springs; three daughters, Vicki Ooten of Russell Springs, Jennifer Dykes of Dunnville and Jill Jones of Seymour, Ind.; three sisters, Myrtle Harmon of Danville, Mattie Decker of Tazewell, Tenn., and Helena McDonald of Liberty; two brothers, Edwin Murphy of Liberty and Sherman Murphy of Louisville; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a step grandchild.

Harvey J. Lewis Jr.
LOUISVILLE -- Harvey J. Lewis Jr., 84, of Louisville died May 19 at St. Matthews Manor.
Born Dec. 21, 1916, in Warren County, he was a son of Mabel Settle and Harvey J. Lewis Sr. He was an employee of the Soil Conservation Service, having worked for a time in Danville, and had been with the U.S. Corps of Engineers for 25 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Survivors include his wife, Wenonah Young Lewis; three daughters, Michelle Lewis-Dass of Rexburg, Ind., Lanna Lewis of Louisville, and Mignon Lewis of Louisville; a son, Jerry Lewis of Orem, Utah; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shauna L. Lewis.
Services were May 29 in Louisville at his church by Russ Daniel. Burial was in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.

Robert Estep
WAYNESBURG -- Services for Robert "Bob" Estep, 88, of Waynesburg will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home by Darrell Gentry. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery with military rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18 of the American Legion.
He died Thursday at Russell County Hospital.
Born Sept. 2, 1912, in Clay County, he was a son of the late Jim and Susie Blair Estep. He was a retired construction worker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was the widower of Mae Gholson Estep.
Survivors include a nephew whom he raised, Johnny Estep of Waynesburg; a stepson, Evan Pittman of Russell Springs; a stepdaughter, Jean Houser of Dayton, Ohio; nine step grandchildren; and several step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Mabel Estep; and a step grandchild.
Visitation is 7-9 p.m. today.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie L. Reynolds Wall; two sons, Billy R. Wall of Kings Mountain and Bobby Wall of Lancaster; a daughter, Patsy W. McLaren of Stanford; a brother, Noel K. Wall of Florence; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
