CRAB ORCHARD -- Gaines Lee Price, 88, of Hwy. 643 died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 25, 1912, in Rockcastle County, he was the son of the late Ben and Dovie Wilson Price.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Smith Price; three sons, James R. Price and Harvey Price, both of Crab Orchard, and Kenneth Price of Stanford; two daughters, Audrey Doss of Junction City and Betty Nicely of Stanford; a brother, Hobert Price of Stanford; a sister, Ina Peel of Crab Orchard; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children, Jimmy L. Price and Dovie C. Price.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home by Dan Gutenson. Burial will be in Crab Orchard Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randall and Rodney Price, Tim Nicely, Jerry Renner, and David and Homer Price.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. today.

LIBERTY -- Etna W. Thomasson, 90, of Liberty died Sunday at Casey County Hospital.
Born Feb. 28, 1911, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late John and Prudie Riggins White. She was a seamstress for Goldsmith Tailor Shop for 30 years and was the widow of John W. Thomasson.
Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Phillips of Tampa, Fla., and Patricia Sinkhorn and Bonnie Murphy, both of Liberty; a sister, Flora Lay of Russell Springs; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Everett Delk. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Visitation is after 6:30 p.m. today.

Born Oct., 21, 1947, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late John and Lillie R. Burns Horn. He was a truck driver for Patton Brothers Co. and a member of Magnolia Street Christian Church and Masonic Lodge 777 F&AM.;
Survivors include his wife, Karen Denise Horn of Harrodsburg; two sons, Kevin and Michael Horn, both of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Jesseca Horn Stephens and Amanda "Mandy" Taylor, both of Harrodsburg; five sisters, Laurie Devine and Valeria Kidd, both of Harrodsburg, Lois Kidd and Mary Traynor, both of Lexington, and Bertie Gooch of Danville; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Terry Morrison. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

He died Tuesday at Stanford House nursing home.
Born March 13, 1928, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Charlie F. and Effie Cox Richards. He was a retired Casey County teacher and farmer and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include two brothers, Fred Richards of Hustonville and Frank Richards of Liberty; and four sisters, Cora Trailor and Hattie Richards, both of Hustonville, Alma Grubbs of Cincinnati and Faye Duggins of Danville.
