Services for Linda A. Anderson, 49, of Parksville Crosspike will be 11 a.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Tim Estes and Chaplain Gary Story. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
She died Thursday at her residence.
Born Dec. 25, 1951, in Liberty, she was a daughter of Loydie Gossett Chumbley of Harrodsburg and the late Elvert Chumbley. She was a former occupational health nurse for Corning Glass Works in Harrodsburg.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Anderson; a daughter, Leah Anderson of Danville; a son, Dustin Anderson of Lexington; a brother, Leonard Chumbley of Harrodsburg; and three sisters, Ethel Kendall of Somerset, Olene Dials of Lady Lake, Fla., and Janet Young of Georgetown.
Active pallbearers will be Damon Young, Larry Cox, Ed Dials, Mike Sims, Doug Jarvis and Jerry Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Adam and Toby Chumbley, Sheila Cox, Sara Young, Jackie Sims, Angela Utterback, Phillip Chumbley and Elizabeth Wilson.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.

HARRODSBURG -- Services for Hannah Lydia Sanders Hume, 89, of Cornishville Street will be 2 p.m. today at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Harley. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
She died Thursday at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 13, 1911, in Dover, Colo., she was a daughter of the late Arthur P. and Hattie Lewis Sanders. She was the widow of Bennie Hume. She had been a custodian and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bennie Lee Hume of Harrodsburg and Jimmy Hume of Russell Springs; two daughters, Alma Wilham of Harrodsburg and Katherine Bowman of Graefenburg; a brother, Tommy Sanders of California; two sisters, Mary Goodlett and Charlotte Smith, both of Harrodsburg; 13 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Virgil Hume.
Pallbearers will be Robert Phillips, Ronnie Mullins, Michael, Gary Gene, Larry Dale and Michael Hume Jr., and Leroy and Marvin Bowman Jr.

James M. Isham
HARRODSBURG -- James M. Isham, 70, of Mackville Road died Saturday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 8, 1930, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Leora Gibson Isham. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Mackville, a retired Corning Glass employee and farmer, and a Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include three brothers, Robert L. Isham, Charles R. Isham and C.H. Isham, all of Harrodsburg; and two sisters, Louise Rogers of Harrodsburg and Aline Murphy of Washington County; and his girlfriend, June Shewmaker.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Barry Harmon and Randy Hopkins. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Rogers Jr., William Rogers, Hollis Isham, Eddie Bast, Robbie Rogers, John Rogers, Timmy Rogers and Billy Matherly. Honorary pallbearers are Jeremy Matherly, Tommy Yates, Troy Rogers, Rodney Harris and members of New Harmony Baptist Church Sunday School class.

Doris L. Moore
Doris Louise Moore, 80, of Cream Ridge Road, Junction City, died Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born Nov. 8, 1920, in Belmont, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Mark and Annie Minty Moore. She was a missionary, serving with her lifelong friend, housemate and fellow missionary, Lois Cox of Junction City, under the Evangelical Alliance Mission based in Wheaton, Ill. While a missionary, she was a nurse, a Bible teacher and an instructor, retiring after 42 years as a missionary in South Africa. She was a member of Tremont Temple Baptist Church in Boston, Mass.
Survivors include two sisters, Edna Veno of Sherborn, Mass., and Pauline Anderson of York, Maine; three brothers, Donald Moore of San Diego, Calif., Mark Moore Jr. of Lexington, Mass., and John Moore of Tynsboro, Mass.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Freeman Baptist Church by the Rev. David Greene. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Born Oct. 14, 1925, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late George and Martha Teague Bryant. She was a retired sales clerk for J.J. Newberry & Hallmark in Richmond and was a member of Paint Lick United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Thurman Hunt.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy West and Emma Cox, both of Paint Lick; two sons, Harold Hunt of Versailles and Jim Hunt of Louisville; a sister, Viola Lamb of North Vernon, Ind.; a brother, William H. Bryant of North Vernon; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill West, Joe Brown, Charlie Gruen, Bill Bowling Jr., Jerry Chadwell and Paul Stevens.

He died Monday at his home.
Born Sept. 6, 1927, in Boyle County, he was a son of the late Herbert and Myrtle Johnson Cress. He was a retired salesman for Kurfees in Louisville and was very active in Danville-Boyle County Little League. The Little League field at Jackson Park carried his name for many years, recognizing his support of the Little League program. Following the death of Troy Trumbo, Cress agreed that the field should carry the young baseball star's name who got his first baseball experience at Pete Cress Field. He was a member of Knights of Pythias and Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. He was a World War II Air force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Bradshaw Cress; a son, David Cress of Danville; three brothers, James Ralph Cress of Danville, Alex Cress of Lexington and Robert Cress of Mansfield, Ohio; a sister, Jean Cress of Danville; and a grandson.
Pallbearers will be John Treadway, Ross Swallows, William Brandenburg, Mark Farmer, Barry Murphy, William Barbee, Lillie Sandusky and Eugene Kline.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Shadion, Doug Pendygraft, Dr. Richard Hempel, Elwyn "Smitty" Smith, Sam Hayes, John Ballard, Don Schlader and Joe York.

Born in Rockcastle County, she was a daughter of the late John and Cordelia Jones Angel. She was a homemaker and a member of Pentecostal Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Bays Sr.; a son, Ralph Bays Jr. of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Rosie Toliver of Harrodsburg; a brother, Hubert Angel of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Almeda Webb of Ohio and Lona Angel of Louisville; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Bobby Potts. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery in Rockcastle County.

She was the widow of Charlie Glass.
Survivors include an adopted daughter, Elizabeth Gundlach of Richmond, Va.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Revs. Everett Priddy and Darren Gillespie. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
