STANFORD -- Services for Anna Louise Maybrier, 69, of Waynesburg will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary King. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
She died Tuesday at Fort Logan Hospital.
Born March 28, 1933, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late William O. and Anna Hale Rice. She was retired after 40 years with Corning Glass/Philips Lighting in Danville and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She was the widow of Noble F. "Pete" Maybrier.
Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Perkins of Waynesburg; a sister, Ruth Ballard of Stanford; and two grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Joey, Rodney and Scott Rice, Ronny and Tom Mullins, and Dwayne Green.
Honorary pallbearers are Shay and Chris Mullins, Danny Reed, Joe Dan and John Reed, Charlie Rice and Jonathan Green.
Visitation is 6:30-9 p.m. today.

NEW CASTLE -- Albert S. Chandler, 79, of Louisville died Wednesday at his home.
Born in Henry County, he was a son of the late Arthur R. and Nora Stivers Chandler. He was retired after 44 years with the L&N; Railroad. He was a Marine veteran of World War II and a member of Campbellsburg Masonic Lodge 249 and Sulphur Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Edith Cox of Louisville; and a brother, Paul Chandler of Danville.
Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home by the Rev. Nick Coleman. Burial will be in Sulphur Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. Saturday.

MORELAND -- Services for Lewis E. "Gene" Durham, 76, of Moreland will be 1 p.m. Saturday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Gary Douglas. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
He died Tuesday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Lexington.
Born April 27, 1925, in Moreland, he was the son of the late Virgil and Lottie Merriman Durham. He was in the Navy for three years in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a recipient of the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon, American Area Ribbon and Victory Ribbon. He was a graduate of Moreland High School and the widower of Betty Davis Durham.
Survivors include a daughter, Alma "Mazie" Chapin of Danville; three stepsons, Carl Davis and Robert Davis, both of Corbin, and Ernie Davis of Lexington; three stepdaughters, Kimberly Hodge and Diane Hembre, both of Corbin, and Virginia Johnson of Nicholasville; his caregivers, Charles and Frances Noel; and a grandson.
Pallbearers will be Otha Atwood, Hascal Wesley, Charles Brown, Herb Wright and Bob Reid. Honorary pallbearers are James Baker, Carl McMullin and Billy Johnson.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.

Born March 1, 1917, in Whitley City, he was a son of the late Herbert and Myrtle Johnson Cress.
He was retired from the heating and air conditioning business and belonged to Lexington Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Williams Cress; a son, Jim Cress of Perryville; two daughters, Betty Shouse of Lawrenceburg and Pat Greer of Margate, Fla.; two brothers, Alex Cress of Lexington and Robert Cress of Mansfield, Ohio; a sister, Jean Cress of Danville; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
