CRAB ORCHARD -- Mary Elizabeth Saylor Blanton, 90, of Turkeytown Road died Wednesday at Fort Logan Hospital.
Born July 16, 1912, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Martha Fletcher Saylor. She was a member of Watts Chapel Baptist Church and the widow of William J. Blanton.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas L. Blanton of Cartersville, Ga., and John W. Blanton of Crab Orchard; a brother, Donald C. Saylor of Middletown, Ohio; a sister, Margaret Hassett of Miamisburg, Ohio; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Marvin J. Blanton.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at McKnight Funeral Home by Dan Gutenson. Burial will be in Coldiron family cemetery.

Elizabeth L. Wilson
Services for Elizabeth L. Wilson, 78, of Parksville Cross Pike were today at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. John David Lane. Burial was in Parksville Cemetery.
She died Tuesday at her home.
Born Aug. 5, 1924, in Gravel Switch, she was the daughter of the late Harlie and Vera Sheperson Lanham. She was a homemaker, a former member of Parksville Homemakers Club and a member and Sunday School teacher at Doctors Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Jackie W. Sims of Danville; a son, Jerry L. Wilson of Danville; a brother, Harlie Lanham Jr. of Gravel Switch; a sister, Isabel Padgett of Perryville; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Larry Gillis, Bill Simpson, Darrell Young, Steve Anderson, Bill Chance, Hershell McKinley, Tex Whitlock and Frank Collins.
Honorary pallbearers are Matthew and Joe Judkins, Dustin and Leah Anderson, Ron and Jason Russell and Casey Young.

HARRODSBURG -- Services for Ronnie Byrd, 52, of Douglas Lane, Junction City, will be 2 p.m. today at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Cleo Cox. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
She died Monday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born March 24, 1950, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of Della Mae Bernard Byrd of Harrodsburg and the late Roscoe Byrd. He was a mechanic, formerly with Hayslett's Mechanical Contractors, and a member of Refreshing Ministries.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Teater Byrd; three daughters, Jennifer "Jinsane" Green and Angela G. Byrd, both of Junction City, and Sara A. Baker of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Elwood Byrd and Clarence Byrd, both of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Libby Abner of Harrodsburg, Billie Sue Luttrel of Florida, and Anna Oster of Danville; and a grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Harden and Jennifer Green, William Baker, Ralph, Clarence and Elwood Byrd. Honorary pallbearers are William Baker and Amber Conner.

Born Nov. 1, 1924, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Logan and Eva Greer Price. She was retired from Handmachel and Vogel Co. in Lebanon and Springfield, and was a member of Mitchellsburg Baptist Church and Boyle County Engine 5 ladies auxiliary. She was the widow of Earl Quinn.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Frye of Lexington; a sister, Ellen Curtis of Hodgensville; and a granddaughter.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Wilder Funeral Home by Carl Leffew. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

LIBERTY -- Darling J. Murphy, 77, of Cincinnati, formerly of Liberty, died Sunday in Cincinnati.
Born July 27, 1925, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Land Murphy. She was an employee of Ken Mar Co. in Cincinnati.
Survivors include a son, Desi Murphy of Cincinnati; three sisters, Juanita Jones, Lois Mangone and Wanda Mason; three brothers, Carl, Larry and Bill Murphy; and five grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, David Coffey of Fort Wright and Eddie Coffey of Lancaster; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Holtzclaw; and a son, Carlos W. Coffey.

She died Sunday at Harrodsburg Health Care Center.
Born Jan 7, 1911, in Salvisa, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Margaret Moore Jones. She was the widow of Cardwell Arnold and Raymond "Cub" Harmon. She was a member of Harrodsburg United Methodist Church, Mercer County Senior Citizens and the Widow to Widow group.
She was an employee for 35 years of the Concordia Sentinel News in Ferriday, La., and of the Harrodsburg Herald for several years. She was a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include four stepsons, Herbert Arnold and Cardwell Arnold Jr., both of Natchez, Miss., Edward Arnold of West Monroe, La., and Dr. Roger Arnold of Shreveport, La.; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ashford, Don Horn, Mickey Gilliland, Harold Logue, Steve Fox and Chad Horn.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and before the service Thursday.

LIBERTY -- Elsie L. Bartle, 76, of Liberty died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Hartford, Conn., on Dec. 13, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Larkum and Helen Davis Martel. She was formerly employed by Drs. Sweeney and Wesley and Casey County Hospital. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice B. Hughes of Frankfort and Betty Bartle Clark of Liberty; a son, Billy J. Bartle of Liberty; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Albert Larkum of Hartford, Conn.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. Bob Johnson. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

LIBERTY -- Bradley Justin Lee Dick, 24, of Liberty died Saturday in Liberty.
Born Feb. 12, 1978, in Fayette County, he was the son of the late Roger Lee and Connie Durham Dick. He was an electrician and attended Calvary Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Cody Jacob Lee Dick of Liberty; a companion, Cathy Long of Liberty; and a brother, Ronald Pedro Satterly of Liberty.
