MORELAND -- Jean Pemberton, 67, of Danville died Tuesday at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington.
Born March 23, 1935, in Jessamine County, she was the daughter of the late Cook Gill and Mattie Adams Burge.
She was a member of the Pentecostal Church and the widow of James V. Pemberton.
Survivors include a daughter, Clara Midkiff of Nicholasville; two sons, Michael Pemberton of Lexington and Dwayne Pemberton of Harrodsburg; three brothers, Jim Burge of Tennessee, Tommy Burge of Florida, and Lawrence Burge of Nicholasville; two sisters, Norma J. Houp of Nicholasville and Freida Davis of Lexington; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy D. and Owen G. Pemberton.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Barry Delaney.
Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles Midkiff Jr., Andy Midkiff, and Pee Wee, Billy, Jerry and Bobby Wilburn.
Visitation is 5:30-9 p.m. today.

LANCASTER -- Services for Charles Butler Dale Jr., 62, of Lancaster Road, Stanford, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Barry Jeffries.
Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
He died Monday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, Lexington.
Born Feb. 8, 1940, in Montgomery County, he was the son of Flora Jackson Dale of St. Matthews and the late Charles B. Dale Sr.
He was a retired employee of Trane Co. in Lexington and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Dale of Stanford; and a daughter, Janice Rowe of Stanford.
Pallbearers will be Dickie Kidd, David Sowder, Buckwheat Gilbert, Jim Reed and Reed Parsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Adams and members of Lancaster Baptist Church Men's Sunday School Class.

She died Monday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, Lexington.
Born May 5, 1948, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of Paul and Blanche Adams Ballard of Bryantsville.
She was a member of Bryantsville United Meth-odist Church and a former member of Camp Dick Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services.
Survivors include her husband, John Ferry; two sons, Greg Hensley and Jason Hensley, both of Bryantsville; two stepsons, Joshua Ferry of Georgetown, Ind., and Jason Ferry of Louisville; three sisters, Terri Feldman of Bryantsville, Penney Jordan of Louisville and Paula Fields of Lancaster; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Baker; Mark, Paul Dean and Stevie Ballard; and Mike Feldman, Chris Fields, Mark Fyfe and Luther Bruner.

Born Sept. 26, 1912, in Lake City, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Alice A. Rush Reed.
She was a former butcher and deli employee at Jim's Fiesta Villa Grocery in Michigan City.
She was a Baptist and the widow of Winford R. Fisher Sr.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Fisher of Waynesburg, David R. Fisher of Muncie, Ind., and James W. Fisher of Michigan City; a daughter, Alice Brown of Three Rivers, Mich.; 38 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Winford R. Fisher Jr. and Marvin Fisher; and three daughters, Mary Fisher, Sarah Letcher and Diane Thomason.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Root Funeral Home and 1-4 p.m. today at Fox Funeral Home in Stanford.

Services for Ronald Cornell Raines, 52, of Forest Avenue will be 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Second and Walnut streets, by the Rev. Richard Hill. Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery.
He died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born April 10, 1950, in Danville, he was the son of the late J.W. and Betty Raines. He was a switchman for Norfolk Southern Railway and a member of First Baptist Church. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and a graduate of Danville High School.
Survivors include two daughters, Kristen Frye and Jordan Raines, both of Danville; two sons, Brian Raines and Tevin Raines, both of Danville; a brother, Johnny Raines of Danville; two sisters, Linda Warren and Gloria Lewis, both of Danville; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Greg Payne, Tony Griffin, Rodney Welch, Norman Letcher, Keith Lewis and Larry Kinley.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Danville High School Class of 1968, employees of Norfolk Southern Corp., James Singleton, Doug Ford, and Stampede softball team.

Born Nov. 7, 1927, in Cherbourg, France, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Marie Connefray LeJuene. She was a retired employee of Palm Beach Co. in Danville, where she worked for 30 years. She was a member of Perryville Baptist Church and the Sue Garrison Sunday School Class. She also was a member of Perryville American Legion 301 women's auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, J.C. Sanders; a son, Edward W. Roach of Lexington; a stepson, James C. Sanders Jr. of Nicholasville; two daughters, Margoria M. Bottoms of Perryville and Sylvia A. Garrett of Harrodsburg; three stepdaughters, Peggy Norman of Nicholasville, Donna L. Davis of Wilmore and Marsha Taylor of Burgin; a brother, Jacques LeJuene of France; three sisters, Huegette Senet, Marcelle Bellengar and Madeline Collinut, all of France; three grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Marie Walls and Marlene Bargas; and a grandchild.

Gentry W. Martin
Gentry Wright Martin, 42, of Maple Avenue died Friday in Boyle County.
Born Sept. 24, 1960, in Danville, he was the son of Joe and Frances Caldwell Martin of Danville. He floor manager at Martin-Durr-Caldwell and a member of First Christian Church where he was a five-term deacon and had completed a three-year term as elder, serving as treasurer.
He was a volunteer at the Boyle County Humane Society and was named a Volunteer of the Year. He served on the Boyle County Fair board of directors and was named Volunteer of the Year; and served as an election official for 12 years. He was a member of Danville Rotary Club, serving as sergeant of arms, and was a graduate of Leadership Boyle County. Before joining Martin-Durr-Caldwell, he had worked in Frankfort for the Department of Tourism.
Martin also was a graduate of Danville High School and Eastern Kentucky University, where he was president of the Young Republicans.
Other survivors include a sister, Mary Cynthia Knowles of Lexington.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church by the Revs. Lance Perry, Carolyne Bloomfield and Kristina Stuckel. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Stith Funeral Home.
