Clifford Lowe
HARRODSBURG -- Clifford Lowe, 93, of Rose Hill Lane, died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born March 21, 1909, in Scott County, Tenn., he was a son of the late L.L. and Nancy M. Norris Lowe. He was a retired foreman for Kentucky Utilities Co., and a member of and deacon for Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church.
He was the widower of Ruth Muse Lowe.
Survivors include two sons, Leland Lowe of Parrish, Fla., and Larry Lowe of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Nancy Royalty of Burgin and Sue Easton of Warsaw; a brother, Robert Lowe of Versailles; a sister, Gertrude Milton of Harrodsburg; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Jack Geurin and Mike Hamby. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Royalty Jr., Darryl, Terrell and Gary Royalty, Marsha Gay Erwin, and Kelly, Chris and Angie Lowe.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday and before the service Tuesday.

Lizzie Sandidge
MORELAND -- Lizzie Sandidge, 69, of Junction City, died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 29, 1933, in Marion County, she was a daughter of the late Doc and Annie May Shannon Rakes. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Sandidge.
Services are 2 p.m. today at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. David Smith. Burial is in Sandidge-McGirr Cemetery.
Visitation is noon-2 p.m. today.

Jasper J. Schaible Jr.
LIBERTY -- Jasper Jacob Schaible Jr., 64, of South Fork Ridge, died Friday at his home.
Born Nov. 27, 1938, in Milford, N.J., he was a son of Vivian K.M. Schaible of Somerset and the late Jasper Jacob Schaible Sr. He was a retired mechanical engineer; founder of Springs of Joy Safe House; and an Air Force veteran. He was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship in Somerset.
Additional survivors include his wife, Sharon Irons Schaible; a son, Jasper Jacob Schaible III of San Diego; two daughters, Joelynn Lee McKay of Atlanta and Joy Serena Schaible of Lexington; two sisters, Patsy Williams of Wilmington, Del., and Susan Armstrong of Rochester, N.Y.; a brother, Lester Schaible of Hillsborough, N.J.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Galilean Home by the Rev. Mark Harrell. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, with military rites by Casey County Funeral Squad.
Visitation is 3-5 p.m. today, 6-8 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Ray W. Reynolds
LANCASTER -- Services for Ray W. Reynolds, 78, of Hill-n-Dale Drive will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Joe Faulkner. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born July 11, 1924, in Jessamine County, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Elizabeth Bennett Reynolds. He was a retired supervisor at the Garrard County Ambulance Service and a member of Lancaster Fire Department. He was a member and deacon of Lancaster Christian Church and a member of the Lions Club and American Legion. He was the widower of Mabel Stephens Reynolds.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane Prather of Lancaster; a son, Bobby Johnson of Cluluota, Fla.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department and Garrard County Ambulance Service.
Honorary pallbearers are Hugh Davis, Lloyd Moberly, Julian Moss Jr., Tommy Gill and Chad Becknell.

Melvin Honaker
COLUMBIA, Tenn.-- Melvin Honaker, 51, of the Bear Creek Community died Thursday at Maury Regional Hospital.
Born in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Clayton F. and Margaret Beatrice Davis Honaker. He was an automotive repair shop owner and a former employee of Kusan-Aeroquip Co. He was a member of Cross Keys Baptist Church and attended House of Prayer Church.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa D. Owens Honaker; a son, Chris Johnson of Junction City; two daughters, Stephanie Honaker of Columbia and Michelle Leonard of Junction City; eight sisters, Marie Hawes of Bethesda, Tenn., Mary Matherly and Lucy Hamilton, both of Danville, Barbara Whitfield of Dickson, Tenn., Nancy Keith of Junction City, Priscilla McCarson of Dickson, Tenn., Sylvia Johnson of Franklin, Tenn., and Carol Johnson of Frankfort; a brother, Basil Honaker of Dickson; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Williams Columbia Funeral Home by John W. House and Donald Pruitt. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 4-8 p.m. Saturday.

William F. Davis
STANFORD -- Services for William F. "Bill" Davis, 77, of Tibbs Lane, Danville, formerly of Ottenheim, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Hebron Baptist Church in Waynesburg by the Revs. Dan Gutenson and Jimmy McKinney. Burial will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery with military rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18 of the American Legion.
He died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington.
Born Dec. 10, 1925, in Highland, he was the son of the late William T. and Chloe Della Carrier Davis. He was a farmer and a member of Mount Hebron Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the widower of Marcella Wilcop Davis.
Survivors include a daughter, Radonna Bredar of Danville; a brother, Raymond Davis of Highland; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael, Jeff and Casey Reed, Roger Kirkpatrick, Dennis Davis and Doug May. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Rick's Marathon Coffee Club: Dan, Vic and Arnold Carrier, David Sims, Charlie Martin, Gene Snyder, Joe Robbins and Lowell Saylor.

Virginia Kennedy
HARRODSBURG -- Services for Virginia Kennedy, 93, of West Factory Street will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter AME Church by Jason Curry. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
She died Wednesday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, Lexington.
Born June 26, 1909, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Charlie E. and Sara Francis Tyler Kennedy. She was a cook and nurses aide at the state hospital in Lexington. She was a member of St. Peter AME Church where she served as deacon and was a member of the senior choir and stewardess board. She organized the Pastor Friendship Club and prepared the latest history of the church.
Survivors include a nephew, the Rev. James Foster Reese of Cherry Hill, N.J.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Saturday at the church until time of service.

Jessie McCowan
MORELAND -- Services for Jessie McCowan, 73, of Junction City were Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Don Garland. Burial was in Junction City Cemetery.
He died Tuesday at his home.
Born Dec. 20, 1928, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Ike and Mattie Lou Wright McCowan. He was a retired employee of Penn Ventilation and a member of Bowen United Methodist Church. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 433.
Survivors include his wife, Annie McCowan; three sons, Henry McCowan and Bill McCowan, both of Junction City, and Ike McCowan of Forkland; three daughters, Carol Hair, Mary Hurst and Brenda Cross, all of Junction City; two brothers, Joe McCowan of Stanford and Ike McCowan Jr. of Junction City; a sister, Elizabeth Privett of Junction City; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jessie Howard McCowan.
Pallbearers were Anthony, Eddie, Jeff, Bradley and Jason McCowan, and Lanny Coulter.
Honorary pallbearers were the men of Penn Ventilation.

Logan Faulkner
Logan Faulkner, 92, of Skyland Drive, Stanford, died Wednesday at his home.
Born May 13, 1910 in Lee County, he was the son of the late Frank and Sarah Carpenter Faulkner. He was a logger and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Stamper Faulkner; two sons, Logan Faulkner Jr. of Pasadena, Texas, and Ron Faulkner of Trenton, Mo.; five daughters, Fern Randolph and Linda Herring, both of Stanford, Mary Damron of East Bernstadt, Lillian Yeagerand Sandra Cox, both of Versailles; a brother, Thomas Faulkner of Clay City; three sisters, Pearl Stamper of Beattyville, Betty Borchers of North Carolina, and Mary Carroll of Richmond, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three daughters, Virginia Drake, Lorene Spencer and Peggy Waddell; and two sons, Ralph and Frank Faulkner.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Samuel Faulkner.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Friday.
