Priscilla G. Carter
Priscilla Goodin Carter, 94, of Cloverdale Dr. died Friday at her home.
Born Dec. 11, 1907, in McCreary County, she was the daughter of the late Bedford and Susemma Jones Goodin. She was a homemaker and a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda C. Knight of Danville; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Carter.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Tommy Valentine. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Monday.

Margaret B. Doram
Margaret Virginia Bates Doram, 63, of Danville Centre for Rehabilitation died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born July 12, 1939, in Chattahoochee, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Marsha and Leonard Bates Sr. She was a nurse and a member of First Baptist Church, Danville. She was also a member of the Elks club.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl D. Effiom of Cincinnati; two sons, Tai D. Doram and Damarintae S. Fischer, both of Danville; three brothers, Leonard J. Bates Jr. of Danville and Alfonso Campbell and Hubert Floyd, both of Youngstown, Ohio; a sister, Betty Stanford of Danville; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James Doram III.
Services will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, 2nd and Walnut streets, by the Rev. Richard Hill and Larry Weather. Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ron Montgomery, Ronnie Beasley, Ricky Campbell, Alfonso Campbell Jr., Norman Fisher and Larry Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be the Bate Senior High Class of 1958.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church.

George T. Harris
George T. "Sonny" Harris, 66, of North Fourth Street, died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Aug. 5, 1936, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late George T. Sr. and Elizabeth Egger Harris. He was a retired home builder and was an army veteran. He was also a member of Junction City Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, George T. "Joey" Harris of Danville; three sisters, Elfrieda "Botchie" Weaver and Rose Matherly of Junction City and Joyce Ann Upton of Waynesburg; and one grand-daughter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Elaine Anderson Harris.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Jimmy Owens. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Dick and Stevie Weaver, Clyde and Jeff Matherly, Harold Upton, Sr. and Buddy Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Quince Arnold, Dr. David Overstreet, Windell King, George York and Robert Overstreet.

Lloyd W. Kelley
Lloyd William Kelley, 92, of McDowell Place, Danville, died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 4, 1910 at Camp Nelson, he was the son of the late Thomas William and Martha Elizabeth Sewell Kelley. He was retired from J.C. Penney Co. and had also worked at The Hub. He attended Centre College and the University of Kentucky and earned a bachelors degree from Western Kentucky University. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a 60 year member and past master of the Franklin Lodge #28, F. and A.M., Danville. He was a former deacon in the First Christian Church, Junction City, and a former teacher and coach at Junction City High School. He was also a former member of the Danville City School Board.
Survivors include a son, Joe W. Kelley of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Emily K. Chambers of Greer, S.C.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Kelley.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Doug Wesley. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Bibb, Randall Riley, Brad Chambers, Brent Chambers, Phillip Dawes and William Leslie Kelley. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of McDowell Place.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home.

James D. Smiley
James Donald Smiley, 72, of Secretariat Dr. died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Aug. 26, 1930 in Liberty, he was the son of the late James Herbert and Lizzie Jeter Smiley. He was a farmer and was retired from Whirlpool Corporation. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and the Rocky Ford Masonic Lodge, Hustonville.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Semonis Smiley of Danville; two brothers, John Smiley of Somerset and Jones Smiley of Lexington.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Don Benningfield. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Stith Funeral Home.

STANFORD -- Services for Carolyn Jean Durham McNew, 55, of Louisburg, N.C., formerly of Lincoln County, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home in Stanford by the Revs. David Cornish and John Lowry. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford.
She died Thursday at Rex Healthcare in Louisburg, N.C.
Born Nov. 29, 1947, she was the daughter of Curtis M. Durham of Stanford and the late Madaline Cain Durham. She was a third grade teacher at Youngsville Elementary School in Youngsville, N.C.
Other survivors include her husband, Charles E. McNew of Louisburg, N.C.; a son, Chip McNew of Nicholasville,; a daughter, Candi McNew of Louisburg, N.C.; two brothers, David Durham of Danville and Rick Durham of Lexington; and one grandson.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fox Funeral Home.

STANFORD -- Hazel Francisco Vanover, 93, of Main St., Stanford died Friday at Charleston Health Care Center.
Born Nov. 9, 1909, in Hellier, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Grover and Alva Childres Francisco. She was a retired Florida teacher and principal and was a member of Mt. Moriah Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Vanover of Stanford; and a step-daughter, Blanche Combs of Riverside, Calif.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Fox Funeral Home by the Rev. C.A. Easterling. Burial will be at Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg.
Pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews.

Fern M. Camic
HARRODSBURG -- Fern Marie Camic, 86, of Scenic Hills died Monday at her home.
Born Oct. 12, 1916, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Hugh C. and Leona R. Poulter Murphy. She was the widow of Speed Camic. She was a seamstress, cook and nursing assistant. She also was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.
Survivors include three sons, Earl F. Camic, Larry S. Camic and George Camic, all of Harrodsburg; three daughters, Patricia Hayden and Marie Hahn, both of Harrodsburg, and Betty Richmond of Fort Myers, Fla.; a brother, Hank Murphy of Hamilton County, Ohio; a sister, Helen Sims of Frankfort; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Camic; and a grandchild.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harrodsburg Baptist Church by the Revs. Robert DeFoor, Jack Geurin and Barry Proctor. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard, Barry and Mark Proctor, Dwayne and Darrell Hahn, Bobby Richmond, Cory and Gage Camic.
