LIBERTY -- E.C. Brown, 77, Fair Street, died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 10, 1925 in Liberty, he was the son of the late Leo Brown and Beulah Burns Brown. He was a retired mail carrier and former school teacher. He was a member of First Baptist Church and veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was the widower of Doris Cochran Brown.
Survivors include two sons, George M. Brown of Liberty and Bruce B. Brown of Somerset; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church by the Revs. Jimmy Brown and Larry Davis. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Ashul M. Cochran
LIBERTY -- Ashul Murl Cochran, 54, of Peyton Ridge Road died Saturday at his home.
Born July 1, 1948 in Casey County, he was the son of the late Willie Newton and Bertha Lenore Cochran. He was associated with Faith Temple in Stanford.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia K. Bernard Cochran of Liberty; two sons, Jody Lynn of Campbellsville and Eddie Cochran of Liberty; three daughters, Tara Davis of Columbus, Ind., Teresa Cochran of Houston, Texas, and Misty Bernard of Liberty; a sister, Nora Griffith of Waverly, Ind.; two brothers, Lonnie Cochran of Waverly, Ind. and Carl Cochran of Liberty; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jeff Edwards. Burial will be in Peyton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Frankie R. Posey II, Steve, Rick and Jeff Cochran, Jody Lynn and Eddie Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Bernard, Uriah Cochran and Jordan Posey.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Martha A. Cummins
HARRODSBURG -- Martha A. Cummins, 91, formerly of Perryville Street, died Thursday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 14, 1911 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late J.L. and Lettie Russell Powell. She was a homemaker and member of the Deep Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting.
Survivors include a son, Billy Cummins of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Inez Tatum Jr. and Jane Coulter, both of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Henry Cummins.
Services are 2 p.m. today at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home by Ronnie Click and Bobby Logue. Interment will be in Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was 5-9 p.m. Saturday and after 7 a.m. today at the funeral home.

Catherine M. Drury
HARRODSBURG -- Catherine M. Drury, 92, of Charlevoix, Mich., died Thursday in Michigan.
Born Aug. 30, 1910 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Nancy Bailey Randolph. She was a retired seamstress at Sportleigh Hall in Harrodsburg and member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church. She attended the First Baptist Church in Dekalb, Ill. and loved being involved in politics.
Survivors include a son, Condit Drury of Charlevoix, Mich.; a daughter, Jeanne Dubey of Charlevoix, Mich.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Drury.
Funeral services are 11:30 a.m. today at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff, Dan and Gary Drury, Tom Barnes, Tom Black and Bryan Liotta.
Visitation is after 11 a.m. today at the funeral home.

HARRODSBURG -- Anna Wilson McGuire, 53, of Evansville, Ind., died Friday in Evansville.
Born April 28, 1949 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Viola Horn McGuire. She worked as a registered nurse for St. Joseph Hospital and the American Red Cross.
Survivors include a son, Brian W. McGuire of Wilmore, and one granddaughter.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Spring Hill Cemetery by James Harley.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

David Papucci
LIBERTY -- David Arlis Papucci, 28, of Sumter, S.C., died Thursday at his home.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Orlando J. and Nellie J. Watson Papucci. He worked in shipping and receiving at Carolina Power Systems. He attended Community College in Hawaii and Central Carolina Technical College. He was a member of the Alice Drive Baptist Church and was active in the outreach program, the singles ministry and the parking lot ministry.
Survivors include two brothers, Anthony J. Papucci of North Pole, Alaska and Marc Papucci of Sumter, S.C.; and four grandparents, Gary and Velda Anderson of Casey County, Helen Hamilton of Cincinnati, Ohio and Ruth Simmons of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Bartle Funeral Home by Rev. Gale Durham. Burial will be in Durham Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

LIBERTY -- Orville "Tood" Rodgers, 81, of Ky. 70 West died Friday at Casey County Hospital.
Born May 31, 1921 in Casey County, he was the son of the late Silas Rodgers and Allie Barter Rodgers. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Helena Wesley Rodgers; a daughter, Brenda Christian of Liberty; a son, Mike Rodgers of Liberty; a brother, Hubert Rodgers of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, May Mills of Cincinnati, Ohio and Patricia Sharp of Liberty; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Jeff Edwards. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery.

Lillie G. Lankford
PERRYVILLE -- Lillie Greer Lankford, 93, of McDowell Place of Danville, formerly of Perryville, died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
She was the widow of Clarence V. Lankford. Born Oct. 2, 1909, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late F.J. and Jennie Board Greer.
She was a former employee of Montgomery Ward in Danville and Broadus Clothing in Harrodsburg, and a bookkeeper for Greers Equipment Co. She was a member of Perryville United Methodist Church and Perryville Chapter 634 Order of Eastern Star, where she was a longtime secretary.
Survivors are nieces and nephews, including Joe B. Greer of Danville; and two stepgrandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Cemetery by the Rev. Jimmy Owens.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Visitation will begin at noon Saturday at Wilder Funeral Home.
