STANFORD --Tracy Laura Ray, 33, of Stanford, formerly of Baltimore, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Bausum. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
She died Monday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Born July 17, 1969, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of Carl and Betty Lawson Ray of Stanford. She was a certified medical assistant and attended Mount Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Stepp II; three brothers, Dennis Ray of Hustonville, Darrell Ray of Baltimore and Carl Ray Jr. of Knoxville; and two sisters, Linda Bender of Waynesburg and Jean Ann Ray of Knoxville.
Pallbearers will be Joshua and Dennis Ray, Ryan Francoise, Eric and Chuck Bender, and Matthew Noss.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday.

CRAB ORCHARD -- Services for Ruth Smith McClure Reynolds, 84, of Crab Orchard were today at McKnight Funeral Home by Gerald Carter. Burial was in Mount Zion Church of Christ Cemetery.
She died Monday at Fort Logan Hospital.

SCIENCE HILL -- Carlos John Hatter, 71, of Kings Mountain died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born May 5, 1931, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Ferrell and Alvia Brown Hatter. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Oca Sims Hatter; a stepson, Norman Sims of Eubank; stepmother, Pauline Wall Hatter of Kings Mountain; three brothers, Lyndale Hatter of Cincinnati, Ohio, Raymond Hatter of Liberty and James Hatter of Walltown; five sisters, Diane Sims and Reba Phillippe, both of Walltown, Joan and Kay Spears, both of Cincinnati and Wilma "Bunt" Floyd of Hurricane Ridge; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

HARRODSBURG -- Mary Elizabeth Saylor, 74, of Bonita Springs, Fla., died Thursday in Fort Myers, Fla.
Born Oct. 5, 1928, in Burgin, she was the daughter of the late Lindsay and Mable Harris Brown. She was a retired nurse and a member of Estero Baptist Church in Florida.
Survivors include her husband, William A. Saylor; two brothers, Worley Brown of Cincinnati and Charles Brown of Perryville; and three sisters, Velma Britvec, Mildred Spry and Juanita Meyer, all of Norwood, Ohio.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by James Harley. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Born April 18, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Jenna Ray and Hugh Simpson Sr. She was retired from Greenthumb and was a member of Gilbert's Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Randy Adams of Crab Orchard; two daughters, Saundra D. Browning of Lexington and Jamesetta Preston of Lancaster; a sister, Stella M. McKee of Richmond; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Adams.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gilbert's Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Jerry Browning and Morris Trayner. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

LANCASTER -- George "Buzz" Wallace Beasley, 64, of Paint Lick died Wednesday at his home.
Born Sept. 15, 1938, in Paint Lick, he was the son of the late Ruick Nevil and Hazel Ross Beasley. He was a woodworker and attended Mount Tabor Baptist Church. He belonged to the Sportsman's Club in Paint Lick.

Born March 1, 1938, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late General Lafayette and Sadie Bell Bugg Sowder. He worked at Overnight Transportation and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Norma J. Sowder; a son, Charles W. Sowder of Winchester; a daughter, Rosemary Hager of Nicholasville; two brothers, Lester Sowder of Garrard County and David Sowder of Madison County; two sisters, Josephine Gaffney of Boyle County and Dorothy Chadwell of Lincoln County; and two grandchildren.
