WAYNESBURG -- Louise Schuler, 86, of Waynesburg died Saturday at home.
Born July 13, 1916, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Ida Enshaw Kielbasa. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Fred "Fritz" Schuler; a daughter, Mary Lemons of Waynesburg; and sister, Barbara Bratcher of Crab Orchard.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Sylvester Catholic Church by the Rev. Michael Weglicki. Burial will be in St. Sylvester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnnie Bratcher, David Kielbasa, Raymond and Bill Schuler, Bill Tucker and Roger Adams.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home.

LIBERTY - John Lewis Peavey, 66, of Franklin, Ind., formerly of Liberty, died Thursday in Franklin.
He was the son of the late Bill and Tommie W. Peavey. He retired from Arvin Industries and was a member of Craftsman Lodge No. 722.
Survivors include his wife, Esther S. Peavey; two sons, Jim Peavey of Franklin, Ind. and Darrell Peavey of Whiteland, Ind.; three sisters, Frances Bowling of Fairfield, Ohio and Margaret Murphy and Laverne True, both of Liberty; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by John Dean. Burial will be in Peavey Cemetery. Visitation is 4 p.m. today and 8 a.m. Monday.

Jeffrey W. Underwood
LANCASTER -- Jeffrey Wade Underwood, 44, of Earl Neely Road in Somerset, died Friday at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Born Dec. 4, 1958 in Lancaster, he was the son of Joe and Shirley Payne Underwood of Lancaster. He was operations manager at Walmart Distribution No. 6097 in London and attended Beacon Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jamma S. Underwood of Somerset; two sons, Justin W. and Jordan A. Underwood, both of Somerset; a grandmother, Nancy Payne of Lancaster; a sister, Joetta Mertz of Junction City; and a brother, John Underwood of Lancaster.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. John M. Toby. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Hughie Allen, Doug Ramsey, Tommy Stewart, Darrell Barrett, Jeff Akers and Jim Gullock.

Barbara Ellen Chambers Woods, 63, of Moreland, died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born March 22, 1939, in Junction City, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Margaret E. Boyd Chambers. She was a homemaker and a member of Herrington Lake Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband, James L. Woods; a daughter, Margie W. Warner of Perryville; a brother, Paul Chambers of Danville; four sisters, Betty Peaveyhouse of Indiana, Charlotte Showalter of Stevens Point, Wisc., Darlene Chambers of Danville and Marlene Douglas of Stanford; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bernadina Sanders.

R.L. Mitchell
PERRYVILLE -- R.L. Mitchell, 90, of Morristown, N.J., died Thursday.
Born Jan. 14, 1913, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late R.L. and Zora Purdom Mitchell. He was a 1932 Centre College graduate and earned his doctorate at Buffalo University. He was retired from Dupont Corp. where he had been vice president.
Survivors include two children, Robert Mitchell and Betty Ristay; a sister, Mary Hope Worthington of Mitchellsburg; two brothers, Robert and William Mitchell, both of Mitchellsburg; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday in Morristown.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer Dittus; two sons, Roger Dittus of Bosie, Idaho, and Barry Dittus of Los Angeles; a daughter, Cindy Rose of Irvine, Calif.; a brother, Oscar A. Fair of Louisville; two sisters, Patria Cullen of Louisville and Dixie Sugars of Hawaii; and three grandchildren.

Born Oct. 17, 1926, in Liberty, he was the son of the late John and Cora Stephens Hall. He was a former butcher at Save A Lot and security guard at Osh Kosh. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Hall; six sons, Jimmy Hall of Hardy, John Hall of Canada, Ky., Fred Hall of Tennessee, Shawn and Chris Hall, both of Liberty, and Joe Jon Hall of Fort Knox; a brother, Douglas Rice of McDowell; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Hall.

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- Emmit Denney, 72, of Elizabethtown, Ind., died Saturday at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.
Born Jan. 15, 1931, in Crab Orchard, he was the son of the late Killas A. and Margaret Neal Denney. He was a retired maintenance employee after 42 years with Arvin Automotive, a member of Kentucky Club and Kitchen Band, and attended Central Heights Church of God. He was the widower of Florence L. Belcher.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Denney of Columbus and Wilma Isaacs of Seymour, Ind.; a son, Kenneth Denney of Mesa, Ariz.; three sisters, Lydia Siler and Dorothy Todd, both of Columbus, and Geneva Oliver of Stanford; three brothers, David Denney of Crab Orchard, James Denney of Alert, Ind., and Elmer Denney of Columbus; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William Denney.
