HARRODSBURG -- Graveside services for Connie Yeast, 74, of Harrodsburg will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bruner's Chapel Cemetery by the Rev. Carlos Lester, with military rites.
He died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born March, 7, 1926, in Mercer County, he was a son of the late John and Cordie Darland Yeast. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Gabhart Yeast; a son, Roy Lee Yeast of Perryville; a stepdaughter, Donnetta Wheeler of Clinton, Ill.; two brothers, Chester Yeast of Portland, Ore., and Warren Yeast of Albuquerque, N.M.; a granddaughter; three step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Della R. Carman
WAYNESBURG -- Services for Della Richards Carman, 91, of Walltown Road, Kings Mountain, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home by the Rev. Vola Brown. Burial will be in K.P. Hall Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
She died Monday at Woods Point Nursing Home, Florence.
Born March 7, 1909, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Philbert and Sally Richards. She was a homemaker, member of Walltown Christian Church and widow of Luther Carman.
Survivors include two daughters, Louise White of Florence and Gay Sims of Stanford; one son, Harold Carman of Cincinnati; one sister, Bertha McBroom of Portland Ore.; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Dorothy Neal and two sons, Arlis and Donald Carman.

LIBERTY -- James "Jimmy" Durham, 70, of Cincinnati died Saturday at his home.
Born Jan. 19, 1930, in Danville, he was the son of the late Lowell and Manilla Durham. He was a retired employee of Metal Specialty and a member or Mount Olive Christian Church.
Survivors include a sister, Vivien McAninch of Richmond.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul Patton. Burial will be in Durham Cemetery.

HARRODSBURG -- Viola Horn McGuire, 74, of Wilmore died Saturday at Lexington Center For Health and Rehabilitation.
Born Nov. 18, 1925, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Jo Ada Winkle Horn. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was the widow of Wilson McGuire.
Survivors include a daughter, Anna W. McGuire of Evansville, Ind.; a grandchild; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Don Reed. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

MIDDLEBURG -- Gene "Red" Hatter, 68, of Cincinnati died Monday in Cincinnati.
Born July 8, 1932, in Yosemite, he was a son of the late Oren and Agnes Black Hatter. He was a retired employee of National Distillers, an Army veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Cincinnati.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Elliott Hatter; a daughter, Theresa Carlton of Houston, Texas; two sons, Timothy G. Hatter and Douglas R. Hatter, both of Houston; five brothers, Norman, Lawrence and Clarence Hatter, all of Louisville, Ron Hatter of Waynesburg and Dale Hatter of Liberty; two sisters, June Canada of Cincinnati and Linda Kramer of Waco, Texas; and two grandchildren.
There will be no funeral service.

Born May 23, 1922, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Clay and Lettie Wilcher. He was a retired farmer and a member of Hustonville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Wilcher; a son, Ronnie L. Wilcher of McKinney; a daughter, Linda Moore of McKinney; three brothers, Estil Wilcher of Mooresville, Ind., and Arnold and D.C. Wilcher, both of Hustonville; two sisters, Mae Snow of Hustonville and Mary Strothers of Moreland; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
