PERRYVILLE -- Elizabeth Gray Reynolds Barrick, 88, of Perryville died Sunday at Cedars of Lebanon nursing home.
Born April 29, 1914, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Mollie Stewart Gray. She was a retired seamstress for Palm Beach Co., and a member of Doctors Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Garland Barrick; two sons, Bobby Barrick of Danville and Warren Reynolds of Omaha, Neb.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a a stepdaughter, Aileen Barrick Lester.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. John David Lane. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Martie Agnes Griffin
INDIANAPOLIS -- Martie Agnes Polston Griffin, 75, of Indianapolis died Saturday at her home.
Born Feb. 18, 1928, in Casey County, she was the widow of Edward Griffin.
Survivors include two sons, Donald W. and George R. Griffin, both of Indianapolis; two daughters, Bonnie L. Thaxton and Patricia Reans, both of Scottsville; three sisters, Hattie Floyd of Boyle County, Mattie Kidd of Lincoln County and Patry Abney of Indianapolis; a brother, Orville Polston of Lincoln County; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Grove Ridge Cemetery in Kings Mountain.

Vester Kendall Sr.
MORELAND -- Vester Kendall Sr., 101, of Hustonville died Saturday at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born June 18, 1901, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late James W. and Mary Mosehart Wesley. He was a retired employee of C&O; Railroad, a member of Hustonville Baptist Church and the widow of Catherine Gaddis Kendall.
Survivors include a son, Vester Kendall Jr. of Moreland; two daughters, Allene Combs and Linnie Dunn, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Willard Kendall.

STANFORD -- Leamon E. VanHook, 61, of Hubble Road died Saturday at his home.
Born July 14, 1941, in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Wiley E. and Milda Burdine VanHook. He was a farmer and mechanic and the widower of Grace Moore VanHook.
Survivors include three sons, Cecil VanHook and Michael VanHook, both of Stanford, and Harvey J. VanHook of Madisonville; two daughters, Kathy Dykes and Susie Cameron, both of Stanford; two brothers, Bill VanHook of Somerset and Joe H. VanHook of Florida; a sister, Wanda Holt of Somerset; a nephew whom he raised, Bill Correll; and 15 grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fox Funeral Home by Jeff Whitehouse. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

Ruby Helm
Services for Ruby Mae Glasscock Helm, 86, of O'Hara Drive will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home by the Revs. John McNerney and Kenneth Preston. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery.
She died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Oct. 22, 1916, in Parksville, she was the daughter of the late Chafin and Nancy C. Stewart Glasscock. She was a receptionist at Centre College for 25 years and a homemaker, a member of Parksville Christian Church and Builders Sunday School Class. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School and was active in PTA. She was the widow of Foster Helm.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth D. Helm of Danville and Donald F. Helm of Fish Creek, Wis.; a daughter, Mary Jo Helm of Danville; a brother, Stewart Glasscock of Perryville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gene Hockensmith, Ron Russell, Rowlan Coulter, Thomas Burger, Buford Montgomery, Jeff Glasscock, John Helm and Rob Kernodle.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Builders Sunday School Class.

NICHOLASVILLE -- Virginia Lynn Morris Cox, 44, of Danville died Tuesday.
Born June 25, 1958, she was the daughter of Betty Joe Bottoms Morris of Danville and the late Cecil Morris. She was a homemaker and attended Danville Church of God.

Robert B. Bottoms
HARRODSBURG -- Services for Robert Bruce Bottoms, 61, of Texas Road, Springfield, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by David Gifford, Mark Stewart and Sherman Ramsey. Burial will be in Peters Cemetery, Mackville.
He died Wednesday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born June 3, 1941, in LaPorte, Ind., he was the son of Alma B. Ryan Bottoms of Harrodsburg and the late Albert "Casey" Bottoms. He was a graduate of Campbellsville College and received his master's degree and Rank I certification from Georgetown College.
He was retired from the Scott County school system, having coached girls basketball and other sports and had been named coach of the year several times. He was a member of Mackville Baptist Church and had served as Sunday school teacher at Gano Avenue Baptist Church in Georgetown. He was a member of Magnolia Masonic Lodge 201 in Mackville.
Other survivors include his wife, Ella Rose Deringer Bottoms; a son, Donald Bottoms of Georgetown; two daughters, Rebecca Bottoms Hall of Georgetown and Roberta Bottoms of Lexington; two brothers, Glen Bottoms of Frankfort and Donald Bottoms of Groveport, Ohio; a sister, Linda B. Riney of Harrodsburg; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Wilkerson, Robert and Bill Deringer, John Logue, Vince Sams, Steve Bottoms, Allen Harlow and Jeff Hamblin.

HARRODSBURG -- Bessie Harrison, 86, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Thursday in Danville.
Born June 13, 1917, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Andy and Eunice Nokes Anderson. She had worked in the kitchen at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, attended Herrington Lake Pentecostal Church and was the widow of Bennie Harrison.
Survivors include two daughters, Myrtle J. Cutter and Betty Jane Johnson, both of Danville; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Steve VanHook. Burial will be in Burgin Memorial Gardens.
