Michael Hughes

HARRODSBURG -- Services for Michael Hughes, 39, of Pinkston Court will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by James Harley. Burial will be in Burgin Memorial Gardens.

He died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Feb. 18, 1963, in Cincinnati, he was the son of Leon and Juanita Roy of Harrodsburg and the late George Hughes.

Other survivors include his sister, Karen Mathews of Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Searcy, David Roy, Alex Reynolds, George Mathews Sr., George Mathews Jr. and Adam Mathews.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Saturday.

Anna Parker

LIBERTY --Services for Anna F. Parker, 93, of Taylor Street will be 2 p.m. today at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by the Rev. Tim Hines. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.

She died Wednesday at her home.

Born Aug. 19, 1909, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late David and Linda Henson Watson.

She was a homemaker and the widow of Walter Parker.

Survivors include three sons, Hugh Morgan of Hustonville, Duane Morgan of Illinois, and David Morgan of Liberty; five daughters, Linda Morgan and Teri Hines, both of Florida, Ilah Ball of Michigan, Janet Emerson of Ohio, and June Coffey of Glasgow; a sister, Mary Grooms of Belleview, Fla.; 29 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Hughes, Cory Coffey, Daniel and Tim Hines, Sherrell and David Morgan Jr.

Johnny H. Robinson

LANCASTER -- Services for the Rev. Johnny H. Robinson, 67, of Lancaster will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. John Presko. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

He died Thursday at his home.

Born Dec. 22, 1935, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late John H. and Dora Belle Dailey Robinson. He was an ordained Baptist minister and worked as a fabricator at Mathews Conveyer Co. in Danville. He was a member of McKinney Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Ragan Robinson; two daughters, Patricia A. Eagan of Louisville and Lynn Yeakey of Louisville; two stepsons, Donald Pike of Lancaster and Anthony T. Pike of Stanford; two brothers, George Robinson of Stanford and Jimmy Robinson of Versailles; two sisters, Opal Robertson of Stanford and Mary Ann Trailor of Hustonville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David Byrd, Johnny and Cecil Trailor, Billy and Chris Yeakey and Hank Eagan.

Honorary pallbearers are Anthony and Donald Pike, Jimmy Quinn and John Duff.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.

Memorials may go to Disabled American Veterans.

Services for Mildred Gayle Hollon Wise, 74, of Edinburgh, Ind., formerly of Boyle County, were today at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. Tim Waits.

Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Clifton, Kenneth, Joey and Earl Wise, Jason Raison and Chester Bottoms.

Maybelle T. Phillips

LANCASTER -- Maybelle Thompson Phillips, 79, of Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore died Saturday.

Born Aug. 23, 1923, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Patsy Perkins Thompson.

She was a retired teacher, a member of Lancaster Christian Church and a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, Holly Bishoff of Bardstown; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services were today at Lancaster Cemetery. Ramsey Funeral Home handled arrangements.

STANFORD -- Services for Vernetta Delk Lucas. 84, of Stanford will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Story.

Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.

She died Friday at Stanford House nursing home.

Pallbearers will be Jim and Robert Rector, Ralph Delk, Fonzo McGuffey, Glenn Campbell and Johnny Vanoy.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today.

Faye Lynch

LIBERTY -- Faye Lynch, 68, of Ky. 551 died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born June 11, 1934, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late J.E. and Mary Wethington Bell. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Blue Lynch; three sons, Vernon and Steve Lynch, both of Liberty, and Bruce Lynch of Danville; a daughter, Lisa Pierce of Liberty; two brothers, Junior Bell and James Buck Bell, both of Liberty; two sisters, Agnes Hogue and Lucille Giles, both of Liberty; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Joey Murphy. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.

Lloyd I. Myers

HARRODSBURG -- Lloyd I. Myers, 78, of Ridgeway Drive died Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Born April 26, 1924, in Louisville, he was the son of the late Clarence and Florence Myers. He was a salesman for Mohawk and Howard Carpenter Carpet, and a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church where he served as elder.

He also was a member of Mercer Masonic Lodge 777 F&AM;, Oleika Shrine, Harrodsburg Lions Club, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an Army veteran of World War II, received a Purple Heart and had been a prisoner of war in Germany.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Burns; a stepdaughter, Gloria Bailey Davis of Harrodsburg; a sister, Shirley M. Perrine of Louisville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Phil Williams. Burial will be in Bohon Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Trisler, Harry Howard, Bill Brinkley, James Hogue, Calvin Wiley and Z.B. Teater.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today with Masonic rites at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials may go to Harrodsburg Christian Church.

J.T. Shearin

Graveside services for J.T. Shearin, 85, of Hughley Lane, Harrodsburg, will be 2:30 p.m. today at Bellevue Cemetery by the Rev. Ernest Martin.

Shearin died Tuesday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington.

Honorary pallbearers are Clifton Rodes, Clyde Jackson and Wade Followell.

WAYNESBURG -- Services for W. Vernelle Eubanks Jacobs, 91, of Waynesburg, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Olive Baptist Church by C.E. Jacobs, Wiley Faw and Bert Hall. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery.

She died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born July 2, 1911, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Melissa Reynolds Eubanks. She was a homemaker, a member of Olive Baptist Church, Women's Missionary Union and Lincoln County Homemakers Club. She was the widow of Hubert Jacobs.

Survivors include a son, Bennie Jacobs of Waynesburg; three daughters, Brenda K. Pennington of Waynesburg, Sue A. Wilson of Somerset and Bobbie J. Bellis of Lexington; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Wilson, Ryan, Michael and Aaron Pennington, Roger and Kenny Jacobs and Ron Singleton.

Honorary pallbearer is Ben Jacobs II.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Memorials may go to Olive Baptist Church.
