Wanda S. Wolcott

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Wanda Mae Sanders Wolcott, 65, of San Diego died Tuesday in San Diego.

Born Jan. 23, 1935, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Annabelle and Owen Sanders. She was a former employee of Corning Glass in Harrodsburg.

Survivors include her husband, Ken Wolcott; two sons, Ken Wolcott Jr. of Seattle, Wash., and Patrick Wolcott of Denver, Colo.; three brothers, Kenneth Sanders of Harrodsburg, R.C. Sanders of Versailles and Harold Sanders of Lexington; six sisters, Jo Anne Burton, Frances Sanders, Peggy Burns, Debbie Sadler and Donna Sanders, all of Harrodsburg, and Rebecca Gooch of Stanford; and a grandson.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bohon Church of Christ by the Rev. Kenneth Preston.

Born Dec. 23, 1908 in Eureka, Utah, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Ira and Willie Sallee Gose. She was a graduate of Centre College and a member of Cuthbert Presbyterian church

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bellevue Cemetery.

William T. Tate

HARRODSBURG -- Services for William Taylor Tate, 64, of East Factory Street will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by the Revs. Larry E. Moore and Sam Stow. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.

He died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born June 26, 1936, in Boyle County, he was a son of the late John H. and Nora Quinn Tate.

Survivors include a son, Richard A. "Ricky" Tate of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Shirley Tate Hooper of Harrodsburg; a sister, Edna Burchett of Junction City; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Chapman, Arnett Griffin, Ronald Tate, Johnnie and Jimmy Burchett, and Terry Fowler.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Thursday.

Billy F. Burgess

A memorial gathering for Billy F. Burgess, 61, of Poway, Calif., formerly of Danville, will be 1-5 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Danville.

He died Sept. 7 in LaJolla, Calif., of natural causes.

Born July 16, 1939, in Hindman, he was the son of the late Floyd and Mable Burgess. He was a heavy equipment owner and operator and a member of Elks Lodge and Operating Engineers Union. He was an Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam era.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Burgess-Peebles of Goshen and Patricia L. Burgess of Huntington Beach, Calif.; a son, James David Burgess of Cypress, Calif.; a brother, J.D. Stacy of Atlanta, Ga.; and three grandchildren.

Robert F. Resiner

Services for Robert Frederick Resiner, 83, of Carrigan Drive will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Savior of Lutheran Church, Danville, by David Witten. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Concordia Cemetery, Indianapolis, Ind.

He died Sunday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.

Born Sept. 29, 1917, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Clarence F. and Alma Roebke Resiner. He was a former employee of Atkins Saw Co. in Indianapolis and a retired production manager at Hallmack in Harrodsburg. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and a church organist for many years. He was a World War II Army veteran and the widower of Jane Schafer Resiner.

Survivors include a son, James Resiner of Greenville, Miss.; two daughters, Lynne Resiner of Danville and Carol Alford of Salvisa; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home.

HARRODSBURG -- Services for Grace Lee Black, 82, of Fort Street will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by the Rev. James Harley. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

She died Monday at Harrodsburg Health Care Centre.

Born Dec. 9. 1917, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Riley P. and Rosa Lee Barr Hulett. She was a retired re-dryer with Brown and Williamson Tobacco Co. and a member of Harrodsburg Church of God.

Survivors include a son, Ron Black of Mercer County; a brother, James O. Hulett of Mercer County; two sisters, Mary Rose Royalty of Lexington and Neoma Lee Medley of Harrodsburg; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Wednesday.

HARRODSBURG -- Services for Rosa Mae Pittman, 76, of Arden Avenue will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Ed Johns. Burial will be in Peavey Cemetery, Casey County.

She died Sunday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born July 28, 1924, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Gracie Long Miller. She was a housekeeper and a member of Miracle Revival Church in Morril.

Survivors include two sons, Albert T. Pittman of Liberty and Darrell R. Pittman of Harrodsburg; three daughters, Shirley B. Yocum of Harrodsburg, Charlotte R. Salazar of Junction City, and Effie A. Pittman of Stanford; six brothers, Marshall Miller, Kenneth Miller and Nicholas Miller, all of Indianapolis, Thomas Miller of Danville, Jerry Campbell of Liberty, and Gary Campbell of Stanford; five sisters, Rachel Cooper, Esther Miller and Geneva Miller, all of Indianapolis, Ind., Connie Atwood of Somerset and Joanne Smith of Danville; 20 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Pittman Jr.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Pittman Jr., Keith Haggard, Clint Daugherty, John Couch, James Lyons and Mathew Lyons.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and 7-9 a.m. Wednesday at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home and after noon Wednesday at the church.
