LANCASTER -- Edwin Rucker Conn, 73, of Fairfield, Ohio, died Friday at Mercy Hospital.
Born April 8, 1927, in Harrodsburg, he was son of the late James C. and Lowie Conn. He was a retired employee of General Motors after 39 years and a member of Clair Avenue Baptist Church. He was the widower of Jewell Turner Conn.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Zirk of Ohio; a son, Andrew Conn of Ohio; a sister, Lois A. Carrier of Ohio; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
Visitation is 1-2 p.m. Tuesday.

Patsy H. Webb
Patsy Elaine Hignight Webb, 69, of Lexington Road died Thursday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Born Dec. 15, 1930, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha Lay Hignight. She was a homemaker and member of First Christian Church. She attended Southern Acres Christian Church, Lexington, and was a graduate of Perryville High School.
Survivors include her husband, Marion C. Webb of Danville; a son, David Webb of Lexington; a daughter, Frances Stromquist of Nicholasville; a sister, Addie White of Louisville; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Stith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation is after 11 a.m. Saturday.

CRAB ORCHARD -- Services for Marion Orville Plummer, 63, of Louisville will be noon Saturday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home by Cecil Roundtree. Burial will be in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born Feb. 1, 1930, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Braxton and Edith Moran Luttrell. She was a farmer and a member of Magnolia Street Christian Church.
Survivors include three sons, Glenn Withers of Merrillville, Ind., Vertreece Withers of Versailles and Vernon Withers of Perryville; two brothers, Wayne Luttrell of Liberty and Donald Luttrell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and five grandchildren.

Jean Barker, 70, of Lexington died Monday at St. Joseph Hospital.
Born May 17, 1930, in Greenville, S.C., she was a daughter of Gladys Ellison Barker of Danville and the late Ward R. Barker. She was a former owner of Boyle County Credit Bureau and a bookkeeper. She was a member Aldersgate United Methodist Church and attended Western Kentucky University and University of Kentucky.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation is after noon Friday until time of service.

Born Sept. 21, 1921, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Fritz and Alta Salyers Bastin. She was a homemaker and an employee of Wright's Airplane Factory during World War II.
She was a member of Kings Mountain Christian Church and Casey and Lincoln County homemakers clubs.
Survivors include her husband, Ottis Hannah; a son, Alvin R. Hannah of Walltown; a daughter, Rita Cash of Burnside; a sister, Louis Murphy of Milford, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Hays Shewmaker; two sons, Prentice "Derotha" Shewmaker of Danville and Talmadge "Tuck" Shewmaker of Parksville; a daughter, Betty Marie Cummins of Harrodsburg; a sister, Hallie Carpenter of Perryville; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She died Monday at Stanford House nursing home.
Born Feb. 9, 1910, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Richard M. and Nancy Elizabeth Elkin Newland. She was the widow of Joe S. Grimes, a member of Stanford Christian Church and many civic organizations.
Survivors include three sons, Joe S. Grimes Jr. of Louisville, Richard N. Grimes and William T. Grimes, both of Stanford; a daughter, Susanne Frank of Ojai, Calif.; a sister, Nancy McCarty of Winston-Salem, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
