STANFORD -- Francis Marie Allen, 68, of Darst Street died Tuesday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Born Feb. 23, 1935, in Rockcastle County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur C. Allen and Smarie Ann Kidd. She was a homemaker and a member of Jesus Church House of Prayer.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Reagan of Harrodsburg and Larry Allen Sr. of Stanford; five brothers, Joe and Raymond Kidd, both of Stanford, James Kidd of Waynesburg, Sherman Jones of La Grange and Bobby Jones of Georgetown; four sisters, Rosie Swope of Lancaster, Dalphine Cherry of Charlestown, Ind., Donna Blanton of Crab Orchard, and Faye Kidd of Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home by Donnie Irvin. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rodney, Anthony and Patrick Reagan, Joey and Mike Cherry, and Jesse Denney. Honorary pallbearers are Scottie Kidd, Jeffrey Blanton, Jimmy Barker Jr., Raymond Garris, James Barnett and Jeremy Hood.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday.

Evelyn L. Spellacy
Evelyn Lucille Spellacy, 77, of McDowell Place of Danville, formerly of Parkersburg, W.Va., died Monday at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. She was the widow of Edward M. Spellacy.
Born Dec. 22, 1925, in Morgantown, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Kermit and Edith Hawley. She was a retired waitress and had attended SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and First Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Michael Spellacy of Danville; three sisters, Mary Louise Dodd and Nancy Lems, both of Fairmont, W.Va., and Shirley Howdershout of Morgantown, W.Va.; and two brothers, James and Gene Hawley, both of Fairmont.
Her body was bequeathed to University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at McDowell Place.

Nannie S. Lewis
LIBERTY -- Nannie Sue Lewis, 73, of Greenwood, Ind., died June 25 at St. Frances Hospital and Health Care in Greenwood.
Born Feb. 28, 1930, in Liberty, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Mae Allen.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Lewis Jr.; two sons, Carlos D. Lewis of Martinsville, Ind., and Charles D. Lewis of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mary D. Lewis of Claymont, Del.; two brothers, John R. and George Allen, both of Liberty, 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol A. Lewis.
Graveside services were today at Wilson Ridge Cemetery by the Rev. Edward Parton.

Boyd Reed
ERLANGER -- Boyd Reed, 75, of Erlanger died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.
He was an engineer for B&O;/CSX Railroad in Cincinnati for 20 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha F. Tinsley Reed; two sons, Lionel Reed of Independence and Mark B. Reed of Florence; two brothers, James L. Reed of Hustonville and William O. Reed of Amelia, Ohio; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Christ's Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Linnemann Funeral Home.

HARRODSBURG -- Services for Jane M. Hoppin, 81, of East Lexington Street will be 11 a.m. Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Don Chase. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
She died Tuesday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born July 11, 1921, in Versailles, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Rebecca Crutcher Montague. She was a homemaker, a member of Friendship Circle and Newcomers Homemaker Club, and did volunteer work. She was the widow of Frank Hoppin.
Survivors include a son, Jim Hoppin of Midway; a daughter, Jane Bennett of Lawrenceburg; a brother, Howard Montague of Versailles; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.
Memorials may go to Harrodsburg Christian Church or a favorite charity.

Roy Reed
HARRODSBURG -- Services for Roy Reed, 85, of Manns Road will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Curtis Sims. Burial will be in Cornishville Christian Church Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at his home.
Born June 2, 1918, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late John G. and Lottie Warner Reed. He was a farmer and a life member of Cornishville Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Durr Reed; a daughter, Gail Reed Devine of Danville; a sister, Cordelia Miller of Greenup; three grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Keith, Ronnie, Archie and Johnnie Britton, Hughes Coslow, Danny Howard, Hanley McMullin and Clyde Sims Jr.

LIBERTY -- Elvis Lee Luttrell, 81, of Contown Road died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Aug. 27, 1921, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Pearcy and Ida Mae Chumbley Luttrell.
He was a sawmill worker, farmer, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Iva Dean McQueary Luttrell; five daughters, Linda Downing of Waddy, Valerie Holt of Dunnville, Monica Luttrell of Liberty, and Lana Bryant and Sue Rogers, both of Hustonville; six sons, Pascal, Ricky, Louie, Rodney, Victor and Larry Luttrell, all of Liberty; 43 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by James D. McDonald.
Burial will be in Oak Grove-Contown Cemetery with military rites by Casey Country Funeral Squad.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Louise Naylor Brown; two sons, Jimmie R. Brown of Indianapolis and Jeffrey W. Brown Sr. of Mooresville, Ind.; five daughters, Marilyn R. Fry of Kings Mountin, Mary K. Smith and Debra S. Addair, both of Indianapolis, Louveta D. Warner of Hustonville, and Paula D. Pemberton of Stanford; two brothers, Albert V. Brown of Hustonville and John T. "Tobe" Brown of Waynesburg; two sisters, Emma King and Katherine Owens, both of Hustonville; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

He was a retired mechanic and farmer and a member of Olive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Hinds Dowell; a daughter, Vicky Dowell of Waynesburg; a brother, Homer Dowell of Crawfordsville, Ind.; and three sisters, Lucy Denson of Stanford, Vernice Britton and Elsie Moore, both of Waynesburg.
Pallbearers will be Scotty and Joe Kidd, Randy Wilcher, Palmer Rogers, Ken Waddell, Homer Britton, David Oaks and Elvie Dowell.
