LIBERTY -- Mark Alan Wethington II, 18-day-old son of Mark A. Wethington and Debra K. Hafley of Liberty, died Saturday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Born June 10, he was the grandson of Darrell D. Hafley of Liberty, Sharon K. Waddell of Waynesburg, and Frank and Rita Wethington of Liberty.
Graveside services are 2 p.m. today at Wilson Ridge Cemetery by the Rev. Edward Parton.

Graveside services for Lucille G. Grebeldinger, 91, of Danville Centre for Heath and Rehabilitation will be 3 p.m. today at Danville Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Paul Kkonde.
She died Friday.
Born Dec. 11, 1911, in Kangley, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Tony and Mary K. Danaher Goldone. She was a restaurant owner in Michigan, and the widow of Larry Grebeldinger.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mary Lou Grebeldinger of Perryville.

STANFORD -- Services for James Arnold Carrier, 82, of Waynesburg will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Moriah Christian Church by the Revs. Jim Jordan and Rob Cox. Burial will be in the Mount Moriah Christian Church Cemetery with military rites by Caswell Saufley American Legion Post 18.
He died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Pallbearers will be Scott Isaacs, Patrick Carrier, Joey Mullins, Morgan Pence III, Kyle Murphy and Timmy Robbins.
Honorary pallbearers are Missy Robbins, Savannah Robbins, Sara Pence and Staci Murphy.

James Carrier
STANFORD -- James Arnold Carrier, 82, of Waynesburg, died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born September 22, 1920, in Highland, he was the son of the late John Will Carrier and Maude Lewis Carrier.
He was a retired farmer, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Mt. Moriah Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Lee Carrier; one son, Steve Carrier of Waynesburg; three daughters, Gail Isaacs and Melinda Pence, both of Stanford, and Peggy Franklin of Knoxville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Mullins, and a grandson, Jason Mullins.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Moriah Christian Church by the Revs. Jim Jordan and Rob Cox. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Christian Church cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Monday at Spurlin Funeral Home and noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Moriah Christian Church.

LANCASTER -- Allie Vard Long, 92, of Kelley Ridge Road, died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born May 10, 1911, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Doxie D. Marsee. She was the widow of Joe Ray and of Thomas G. Long.
Long was a retired antique dealer and a member of the Lancaster Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Joetta Logan of Lancaster; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Elsie Bruner and Ruby Marsee.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ramsey with the Revs. Everett Priddy and Barry Jeffries officiating. Burial will follow in the Lancaster Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clyde Long, Billy Lanham, Buddy Maupm, Mark Collier, Bill Craddock and Mike Crain.

LIBERTY -- William D. Wethington, 52, of Liberty, died in Pittsburgh on Thursday.
Born May 11, 1951, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Denis and Mary H. Wethington. A member of Grace Baptist Church, he was a self-employed truck driver and employee of Bob Allen Chevrolet.
Survivors include his wife, Marietta C. Wethington; two sisters, Shirley Wethington of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Linda Floyd of Waynesburg; a brother, Dale Wethington of Liberty; an aunt, Delores Wilcher of Liberty; and a great niece, Rachel Edwards of Liberty.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at Bartle Funeral Home.

Born Nov. 12, 1918, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Emma Peavler Gabbert. She was a retired Thrifty sales clerk, a member of Cornishville Christian Church and a graduate of Cornishville High School.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Aileen Gabbert of Cornishville; nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Leonard Price. Burial will be in Cornishville Christian Church Cemetery.

Derringer of Crab Orchard; a brother, Mike Martin of Crab Orchard; four sisters, Lena Denny of Mount Vernon, Tina Cummins of Georgetown, Gina Hines of Stanford and Janet Bagbey of Indiana; a stepbrother, Danny C.
