George E. Miller
George Ellis Miller, 80, of Evans Heights, Junction City, died Thursday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Lexington.
Born Aug. 1, 1922, in Lexington, he was the son of the late Charles S. and Nell Brown Miller. He was a supervisor at Roper and Tri County Assembly. He had served as a staff sergeant in the Marine Corps during World War II, was a Methodist and attended Hofstra College in New York.
Survivors include his wife, Emma McCaslin Miller; a son, Richard W. Miller of Sonora, Calif.; a daughter, Kathleen Miller Sinkhorn of Junction City; a brother, Jack Miller of Mount Sterling; a sister, Doris Croley of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Miller.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Don Benningfield. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may go to the American Heart Association or Centenary United Methodist Church Building Fund.

Born Feb. 18. 1938, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Jesse G. and Bertha E. Goodpaster Grubbs. He was a retired brick mason and a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Donald W. Grubbs of Salvisa and James E. Grubbs of Harrodsburg; five daughters, Pamela S. Hatter of Mercer County, Anita C. Montgomery and Cathy M. Grubbs, both of Danville, Linda M. Hasan-Hamad of Canton, Ga., and Dianna E. McPherson of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Harold L. Grubbs of Washington County and Ronald E. Grubbs of Shepherdsville; two sisters, Barbara Ross of Burgin and Alice Darland of Harrodsburg; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Montgomery, Nick Burger, Jesse Grubbs, Clayton McPherson, Aaron Houp, Jody Grubbs, Shea Ford and Christopher Harlan.

Born Feb. 11, 1935, in Lexington, he was the son of the late Brent and Emma Durbin Crawley. He was a farmer and a member of Providence Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lorena Peavler Crawley; a daughter, Carolyn Long of Harrodsburg; four sisters, Nancy Prather and Isabelle Moore, both of Lexington, Brenda Smith of Lawrenceburg and Mary Ellen Neal of Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Tony and Alvin Crawley.

Pauline C. Robinson
Services for Pauline "Polly" Chrisman Coy Robinson, 90, are private.
She died Wednesday at Danville Center for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born May 9, 1913, in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Conrad Chrisman and Lena Roberts Coy. She grew up at Blythewood in Richmond and formerly lived in the Proctor-Rowland House at 243 North Third St., which is on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the Todd-Montgomery houses on Beaten Biscuit Row. She was the widow of John Calhoun Robinson Jr., with whom she collected and dealt in antiques for many years. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Lenabelle Robinson Harkins of Danville; a son, John C. Robinson of Lexington; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Alsip of Perryville; a son, Clyde Engle of Indiana; a sister, Anna E. Baker of Corbin; a brother, Edgar Engle of Georgia; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Engle.
