Mike Shive, 45
Mike Shive, 45, of Columbia, Ky., died on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at his home after a brief illness.
Son of Lucille Rucker Shive of Green County and the late Bill H. Shive, he was of the Methodist faith.
Shive was a farmer, avid hunter and fisherman.
He was married
to Tammy Dulworth Shive of Columbia, who survives.
Besides his wife and his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Sharon Dulworth and Janet Hare, and his best friend and brother-in-law, Ronnie Hare, all of Campbellsville; and his mother-in-law, Brenda Clark Dulworth of Columbia.
Funeral was Sunday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. The Rev. Jose Albovias officiated.
Pallbearers were Gene Smith, Ricky Bault, Ronnie Hare, Mark Bolin, Donnie Beard and Jerry Young.
Honorary pallbearers were Rodney Dile, Wayne Dial, Ronnie Murray, Dale Clark, Jim Clark, Larry Clark, Ricky Handy and Wayne Dulworth
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, which may be made at the funeral home.
Linda Dicken, 60
Linda Dicken, 60, of Louisa, Ky., formerly of Campbellsville, Ky., died on Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, in Louisa.
Daughter of the late Jimmie Dicken and Edith Hendrickson Dicken, she was born on Dec. 26, 1943 in Taylor County, Ky. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one brother, two sisters and their spouses, James E. and Betty Dicken of Greensburg, Pauline Brown of Franklin, Ind., and Doris and Glenn Smith of Campbellsville.
Funeral services are Friday, Jan. 16, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with the Revs. Ron Ferree and Paul J. Dicken officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
Pallbearers are David Dicken, Larry Dicken, Mark Dicken, Ronnie Dicken, Gary Smith and Walter Smith.
Floyd T. Hensley Jr., 78
Floyd T. Hensley Jr., 78, of Old Lebanon Road in Campbellsville, Ky., died on Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, in Campbellsville.
Son of the late Floyd T. Hensley Sr. and Grace Dilley Hensley, he was born May 22, 1925 in Hart County, Ky., and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served as both an elder and a Sunday School teacher at the church.
He was moderator of the General Assembly of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church from June 1991 to June 1992. He was a former vice president and chair of the board at Taylor County Bank.
He was a 50-year member of the Rio Verde Masonic Lodge No. 698 F & A.M. in Canmer, Ky., and a 50-year member of Campbellsville Lions Club. He was a charter member of Taylor Regional Hospital's board of directors and had served on the board of trustees at Bethel College. He was a member of the Denominational Board of Finance and a former agriculture teacher at Taylor County High School. He was a member of the Soil Conservation Board and was active in fund-raising for the Boy Scouts of America.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the United States Army.
He was married
to Alta Adams Hensley on Sept. 10, 1947. She survives.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15 at the Parrot & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Revs. Ron Ferree, Wayne Brooks and Joe Jones will officiate.
Burial will be in Horse Cave Cemetery.

Morris J. Hubbard, 82
Morris J. Hubbard, 82, of Fort Myers, Fla., died on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004.
Son of the late Owen W. and Ella Dudgeon Hubbard, he was born on April 1, 1921 in Campbellsville, Ky.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1945 in China, Burma and India Theatre. He lived in Fort Myers, Fla. for 48 years and founded J&M; Pump Service in 1963.
He was married
to Marie Hubbard for 57 years. She survives.
Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Maurice J. and Cindy Hubbard of Ft. Myers; three daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Glenn Padgett of Ft. Myers, Sue and L.J. Bullock of Fontana Dam, S.C., and Brenda and Jim Borders of Albuquerque, N.M.; one sister, Rachel Penn Crowe of Campbellsville; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., and one hour prior to the service time on Thursday. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22 at Winkler Road Baptist Church in Florida with Pastor Don Strange officiating.
Entombment will be in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Winkler Road Baptist Church Building Fund.
Noel W. "Gabby" Hayes, 85
Noel W. "Gabby" Hayes, 85, of Columbia, Ky., died on Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at Veterans Hospital in Louisville, Ky., after a short illness.
Son of the late Zach A. and Henrietta England Hayes, he was a long-time employee of Chappell's Dairy and was a co-owner of B&H; Pool and Lunch in Columbia until retiring in 1981.
A member of Jones Chapel Untied Methodist Church, he was veteran of World War II during which he served in the U.S. Army's 3rd Chemical Battalion. He saw action in Africa, Sicily, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Sneed Hayes; one son, Paul B. Hayes of Columbia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Michael Morris of Louisville and Susan and Dwayne Loy of Glensfork; six grandchildren, Chris Morris, LeeAnne Morris and Andy Morris, all of Louisville, Lisa Case of Southgate, and Ben Loy and Adam Loy, both of Glensfork.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters, Homer Hayes, James T. Hayes, Johnnie Hayes, Edith Roach, Myra Tarter, Vada Richard, Terry Moore, Ona Sparks and Maxine Maggard.
Funeral was Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Reliford officiating and the Rev. Ronnie Dooley assisting. Military honors were by VFW Post No. 6097. Burial was in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ben Loy, Adam Loy, Chris Morris, Andy Morris, Bobby Moore and Dale Hayes.
Honorary pallbearers were Danny Moore, Wayne Moore, Dean Hayes, Harlan Sparks, Ural C. Sparks and Norman Roach.
