Anna B. Bailey, 86, of Black Pike, Moreland, died Friday at her home.
Born Nov. 29, 1914, in Hustonville, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Nancy Carpenter Bailey.
She was a homemaker and a member of Allen Chapel AME Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Paulette Johnson of Louisville; a sister, Ella Gooch of Stanford; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Smith-Jackson Funeral Home by the Rev. Everhart Walker. Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery.
Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday.

Everett L. Baker
HARRODSBURG -- Everett L. Baker, 80, of Beaumont Avenue died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 3, 1920, in Mercer County, he was a son of the late Lonnie and Mary Young Baker. He retired after 20 years as an insurance adjuster for Kentucky Growers Insurance, and was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Marsola Lester Baker; a son, Randy L. Baker of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Alma Coslow of Willisburg and Nona Moberly of Rockford, Ill.; three brothers, Ruel Baker of Lexington, Harvey Baker of Lawrenceburg and Maurice Baker of Tuscon, Ariz.
Services were scheduled for today at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by the Revs. Terry Lester and Robert DeFoor. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles Baker, Steve Hayden, Tommy Logue, Z.T. Lester, Don Huffman and R.C. Lester.

Leisha F. Baker
HARRODSBURG -- Leisha Faye Baker, 38, of Irish Ridge Road died Sunday at her home.
Born June 25, 1962, in Mercer County, she is a daughter of the late Clayton and Lula Mae Preston Lister. She was a homemaker and attended Perryville Church of God.
Survivors include three sons, Rickey L. Baker of Burgin and Jeffrey A. Baker and Bradley L. Baker, both of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Cynthia Lawson of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Gerald Lister of Mercer County and Dennis Lister of Burgin; and two sisters, Sandy Whitis of Harrodsburg and Edie Warner of Mercer County.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Buddy Turpin and Joe Smith. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and after 7 a.m. Thursday.

STANFORD -- Mary Bernice Good Cooper, 97, of Louisville, formerly of Stanford, died Saturday at her home.
Born Aug. 14, 1903, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Hocker and Molly Brown.
She was a homemaker and a member of Stanford Christian Church. She was the widow of Eugene Good and Bryan Cooper.
Survivors include four sons, Bowen Good of Elizabethtown, Joe T. Good of Lancaster, and Eugene Good Jr. and Billy L. Good, both of Richmond; three daughters, Sue G. Osborne of Louisville, Eugenia Young of Lancaster, and Margaret Lunsford of Union; three stepdaughters, Cathryn Wilson and Velma Nunnelley, both of Stanford, and Dorothy Austin of Danville; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home by the Rev. Tracy Lawler. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Visitation is noon until time of service Thursday.

Willie B. Gibson
SCIENCE HILL -- Willie B. Gibson, 80, of Eubank died Saturday at his residence.
Born Jan. 6, 1920, in Bronston, he was a son of the late George and Vella Gibson. He was a former employee of Chrysler Corp. in Michigan, served as a private in the Army during World War II, and was a member of Science Hill Disabled American Veterans Chapter 162 and Eubank Baptist Church. He was the widower of Mary Gibson.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Mize Gibson; three daughters, Sharon Franzes of Trinton, Mich., Marcia Souders of St. Helen, Mich., and Gladys Delblock of Carrollton, Mich.; three stepdaughters, Jo Ann York and Bonnie Spears, both of Eubank, and Diana Perkins of Middleburg; two stepsons, Bennie Bullock and Robert Bullock, both of Eubank; three brothers, Henry Gibson of Kings Mountain, and Robert Gibson and Ted Gibson, both of Frankfort; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home by the Rev. Noel Dodson. Burial will be in Alexander Chapel Cemetery in Bronston.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

William C. Grigsby
HARRODSBURG -- William Coleman "Bill" Grigsby, 71, of Castle Heights died Friday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 17, 1929, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Charles and Grace Huffman Grigsby. He had worked as a maintenance technician for Cricketeer and for the City of Harrodsburg. He was a member and former Sunday School teacher at Harrodsburg Baptist Church. He was a Kentucky Colonel, and was a member of Mercer Masonic Lodge 777 F&AM, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Oleika Shrine Temple. Had served in the Army National Guard.
Survivors are his wife, Viatta Mae Grigsby; a daughter, Dawn R. Grigsby of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Glenn Ellen Fredrick of Flemingsburg, and Dottie Vaught and Grace Logston, both of Harrodsburg; and three brothers, Robert Grigsby of Harrodsburg, David Grigsby of Ohio and Bud Grigsby of North Carolina.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Robert DeFoor. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. today and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Devine, Robert McFatridge, Joe Harlow, David Quinn, Garnett Fowler, Bill Cooper, Marvin Claunch, John Sparrow and Ed Robertson.
Honorary pallbearers are members of his Sunday School class.

HARRODSBURG -- Clay Lancaster, 83, of Oregon Road, Salvisa, died Monday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born March 30, 1917, in Lexington, he was a son of the late John W. and Della Clay Lancaster.He was a writer, publisher and painter; and founder of the Warwick Foundation at 1533 Oregon Road, Salvisa.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.

HARRODSBURG -- Margaret Shields Keeling Smith, 84, of Harrodsburg died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital.
Born in Washington County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Roberta Marksbury Shields. She was a retired Cricketeer employee and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Winkler of Lexington, Helen Jones of Lancaster and Janice Presley of Lawrenceburg; three sons, Thomas Keeling of Finchville, Charles Keeling of Shepherdsville and Jerry Keeling of Fern Creek; a sister, Katherine Zell of Hialeah, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; five step grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Calvin R. Anderson
Calvin Rufus Anderson, 56, of Lancaster died Monday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
Born Dec. 4, 1944 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler Anderson. He was a member of St. Paul Predestinarian Baptist Church in Lancaster.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Denise Leavel of Lancaster; a son, Douglas Edward Penix of Danville; four sisters, Dorothy May Humlier, Gloria Anderson, Ella Bell Kavanaugh and Judy Anderson, all of Lancaster; a brother, William H. Anderson of Richmond; and four grandchildren.

Born April 14, 1934, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of Elzie and Ivis Spigle Sluder of Waynesburg. She was the widow of Melvin Allen Keeling and was retired from her position as head receptionist at Pete Merrick Accounting Firm in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a member of the Church of God and was a member of the first graduating class of Memorial High School.
Survivors include her parents; and two brothers, Paul Sluder of Eubank and Stan Sluder of Waynesburg.
