Lester E. Moss, 81
Lester E. Moss, 81, of Columbia, Ky., died on Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Son of the late Clinton and Ivy Jessie Moss, he was a member of the former Gradyville United Methodist Church and attended Columbia Christian Church.
Moss was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a partner in C.R. Moss & Sons Oil Drilling and involved in oil exploration and production throughout Adair County and South Central Kentucky from 1969 until the late 1980s.
He was married
to Sarah Cravens Moss of Columbia. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Jerry Vaughan of Columbia; two grandchildren and their spouses, Melanie Vaughan-Cook and Perry Cook and Jennifer and Darren Jenkins; one great-grandchild, Isaac Cook; and one nephew, Bob Moss of Columbia.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Moss; and one sister, Doris Breeding.
Funeral was on Thursday, Jan. 29 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Bro. Terry White officiated.
Interment was in the Union Cemetery at Gradyville, Ky.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Dale Bledsoe, Bruce Conover, Richie Janes, Ryan Moss, Jimmy Reliford and Philip Watson.
Honorary pallbearers were the men's Bible class of Columbia Christian Church, John D. Lowe, Edgar Troutman, James Troutman, Joe R. Barbee, James E. Shirley, James Swanner and Alfred Flowers.
Billy G. Campo, 48
Billy G. Campo, 48, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004 in Green County, Ky. at his home.
Son of William "Bill" Campo of Raceland, La. and the late Sybil Jean Gibson Campo, he was born on Thursday, March 31, 1955, in Gastonia, N.C. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lockport, La. and was a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a former employee of Fort Knox EMS.
He married
Judy Goff on Sept. 11, 1992. She survives.
Besides his father and his wife, Campo is survived by a brother, Barry Campo of Raceland, La.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Polly Goff of Greensburg; a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Karnes of Greensburg; and nieces and nephews, Derek Karnes and Stephanie, Ross and Sara Milby, all of Greensburg.
Funeral is Monday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in Green County Memory Gardens, where military rites will be conducted. The Rev. Chuck Pollard will officiate.
Pallbearers are Jason Earley, Eddie Pruitt, Bruce Odom, Timmy Marr, Tom Akin, Dean Gaudet, J.W. Bennett, Freddie George, Terry Judd and Kevin Bagby.
Honorary pallbearers are Pat and Dawn Bevill, Timmy and Bonnie Gipson, Jonathon and Shayla McCallister, Rickie and Catherine Earley, Harry and Debbie Chalifoux and David Moore.

Rev. Charles C. Haselwood, 79
The Rev. Charles C. Haselwood, 79, of Green County, Ky., died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.
Son of the late Robert Hawkins Haselwood and Helen Warren Haselwood, he was born June 21, 1924 in Green County.
He was a retired Nazarene minister, serving 50 years, and was a member of Summersville Church of the Nazarene.
He was married
to Mazie Thompson of Summersville, who survives.
Haselwood is also survived by one daughter, Lois Jeana Barrow and her husband, Joe, of Florida; three sons, Joseph Donavan Haselwood and his wife, Marie, of Alabama, Charles Landon Haselwood and his wife, Pam, of Lexington, Ky., and Gerald Thomas Haselwood and his wife, Diane, of Summersville; one brother, William Robert Haselwood of Hodgenville; one sister, Halcie Gupton of Louisville; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1 at Summersville Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. Che Haselwood, Charles C. Haselwood II and Jamie McCormick officiating. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jerry Price, Phillip Cox, Gussie Allen, Doug Bargo, Charles B. Lobb and Mark Thompson.

Anna Pearl Rowe, 94
Anna Pearl Rowe, 94, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, formerly of Adair County, Ky., died on Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, in Ohio.
Daughter of the late Joseph P. and Jessie Baker Traylor, she was a member of First Lutheran Church. Rowe was also a homemaker and had worked as a waitress, cook and baker until she was 80 years old.
She was married
to Elbert T. Rowe, who preceded her in death on July 17, 1962.
Rowe is survived by five sons, Leon Rowe, William Rowe, Wilbie Rowe and Gaylon Rowe, all of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and John Rowe of Forest, Ohio; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Lily Sue and Gerald Kessler of Tiffin, Ohio, Naomi and Donald Bower of Upper Sandusky and Joann Hougendobler and Linda and Jeff Dobbs, all of Mesa, Ariz.; one sister and brother-in-law, Ritchie and Ralph Akin of Columbia; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, four brothers and one sister.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31 at First Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Pastor Julianne Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Bringham Clark & CO. Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Willya Rattliff Cox, 68
Willya Rattliff Cox, 68, of Greensburg, Ky., died on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at Hospice Care Center in Louisville, Ky.
Daughter of the late James W. and Estelle Dobson Rattliff, she was born on Friday, Jan. 3, 1936, in Taylor County, Ky. She attended Ebenezer Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. "Bobby" Cox, on Aug. 23, 1996. They had married
on Dec. 24, 1955.
She is survived by one son, two daughters and a son-in-law, Steve Cox, Sherree Milby and Debbie and Steve Thompson, all of Greensburg; three brothers, Herman Rattliff of Campbellsville, J.W. Rattliff of Greensburg and Vernon Rattliff of Lexington, Ky.; one sister, Doris Rodgers of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren, Kevin Thompson, Robin Thompson Hansen and her husband, Rich, all of Cambridge, Mass., Shae Simpson and her husband, Josh, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Brandi Cox, Mindy Cox, Shawn Milby and Alex Thompson, all of Greensburg; and one great-grandchild, Sydni Grace Montgomery of Indianapolis, Ind.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley Rattliff and Ronnie Rattliff.
Funeral is Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. in the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home. Burial is in Ebenezer Cemetery. The Rev. Dwight Forderhase will officiate.
Pallbearers are Brian Rattliff, John Rattliff, William Lewis Rattliff, James Ralph Rattliff, Matt Rattliff, Jason Rattliff, Mark Rodgers and Randy Rodgers.
