Harland Reeves Whitlock, 67
Harland Reeves Whitlock, 67, of Green County, Ky., died on Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, Ky.
Son of the late Frank Whitlock and Gladys Jewell Whitlock, he was born on Thursday, March 12, 1936, in Green County and was a member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church.
He retired after 30 years from General Electric in Louisville, Ky., and was a farmer.
He was married
to Shelia Honeycutt on July 11, 1998. She survives.
Also surviving is a step-daughter, Becky Fister of Green County; and a step-granddaughter, Kelly Fister of Green County.
Funeral was on Monday, Feb. 9 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. The Rev. William Karnes officiated.
Pallbearers were Duane Neeley, Rob Morgan, Doug Honeycutt, Al Dauch, Joey Honeycutt and Wayne McCoy.
Aiden Constant, Infant
Aiden Constant, 9 months, died on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Son of Justin B. Constant and Brenda G. Durrett Milby of Greensburg, Ky., he was born on April 21, 2003, in Louisville.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers and one sister, Blake Milby, Clay Milby, Hunter Milby and Lyric Milby, all of Greensburg; his grandparents, Linda Durrett of Greensburg and Billy Durrett and Patricia Hodges, both of Bowling Green; and several aunts and uncles, Parker and Tara Lyle of Tupelo, Miss., Jerry Constant of Bowling Green, Ky., Scotty and Brenna Durrett of Magnolia, Ky., and Michael and Jessie Durrett of Louisville.
Graveside service was at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Wilson Cemetery, with burial to follow. The Rev. Stan Milby officiated.
Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg was in charge of arrangements.
Charles W. McGaha, 63
Charles W. McGaha, 63, of Greenwood, Ind., formerly of Adair County, Ky., died on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Ind.
Son of the late Millard and Rettie Bryant McGaha, he was a member of Franklin Separate Baptist Church in Franklin and Russell Springs Masonic Lodge #941.
He was employed for 30 years by Webber Manufacturing in Indianapolis, Ind., as an environmental chamber test analyst. He retired in 1996.
He was married
to Shelia K. Grider McGaha of Greenwood, Ind. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Brenda J. "Jeannie" Burton of Franklin, Ind., and Angie S. McGaha of Greenwood, Ind.; one sister, Della Fay Bryant of Franklin, Ind.; two grandchildren, Corbin Charles Burton and Abby Leigh Burton; and a brother-in-law, Arvil R. Bryant of Franklin, Ind.
Funeral was on Saturday, Feb. 7 at Wilson-St. Pierre Funeral Service Greenwood Chapel. Pastors Homer Whited and Ed Thorpe officiated. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.

Tavia M. Hancock, 93
Tavia M. Hancock, 93, of Metcalfe County, Ky., died on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Daughter of the late Cordell Blaydes and Mary E. Firkins Blaydes, she was born on Monday, Dec. 12, 1910, in Metcalfe County and was a member of Liberty Separate Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was married
to Oliver Perry Hancock on Oct. 21, 1928. He preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 1988.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Carroll and Wayne Kidd of Louisville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Suzanne Hancock, Wendell and Jan Hancock and Billy and Rita Hancock, all of Greensburg; one half-sister, Mazine Benningfield of Louisville; two half-brothers, Coy Shuffett of Louisville and Milford Shuffett of Lebanon, Ky.; a special friend, Kim Penick of Greensburg; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Also proceeding her in death was one son, Clell Wayne Hancock on Jan. 28, 1978; one daughter, Barbara Jane Hancock in 1931; and one grandson, Derek Hancock in 1989.
Funeral was Sunday, Feb. 8 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery. The Rev. Freddy Thompson officiated.
Pallbearers were Stan Henderson, Terry Thompson, Steve Hancock, Tate Hancock, Trent Ford, Terry Hancock, Dan Emmons, Greg Thompson, Scott Framton, Dave Lund and Tyler Hancock.
Honorary pallbearers were Joel Bennett, Jim Galloway, Johnny Moore and David Pierce.
Mary Lee Hood, 77
Mary Lee Hood, 77, of 601 Tutt St. in Columbia died at 9:22 a.m., Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at the Westlake Regional Hospital emergency room in Columbia.
She was the daughter of the late Don Carlos and Sara Alice Williams Willis of Adair County, Ky.
Hood was a member of Columbia Christian Church, where she taught Sunday School for 45 years. She was office manager and bookkeeper at Adair Memorial Hospital, Westlake Hospital and Westlake Home Health from 1981 until her retirement. She was also a substitute teacher in the Adair County School System.
She is survived by her husband, James Hood of Columbia; two sons, Rick Hood and his wife Debbie of Nicholasville, and Jeff Hood and his wife Kim of Lexington; four grandchildren, Kim Russell, Chris Hood, Lance Hood and Madison Hood; four great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Zach and Kelty Hood and Ella Russell; and three sisters, Sharon Greer of Knifley, Margaret Cox of Cincinnati and Brenda Williams of Palm Springs, Calif.
Funeral was Sunday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Terry White officiating. Burial was in the Columbia Cemetery.
The family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of a donation to the building fund of Columbia Christian Church. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Grant, Bill Greer, Gregory Greer, Danny Propes, Jimmy Tupman and Paul Webb.
Elizabeth Byrd Sullivan, 86
Elizabeth Byrd Sullivan, 86, of New Lebanon Road in Campbellsville, Ky., died on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, in Shelbyville, Ky.
Daughter of the late Arch L. Paxton and Mattie Blakeman Paxton, she was born on Dec. 4, 1917 in Green County, Ky., and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.
She was married
to Isaac W. "Ike" Sullivan on July 23, 1938. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1997.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Vivian Sullivan of Mt. Washington, Ky., Keith and Tamara Sullivan of Liberty, Ky., and Randall and Cheryl Sullivan of Campbellsville, Ky.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Jack Campbell of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ruth Ann and Max Heath of Shelbyville; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman Wayne Paxton of Greensburg, Ky.; and one sister, Ada Mae Wilcoxson of Greensburg.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Coleman Paxton and Leon Paxton.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at Parrott & Ramsey, with the Rev. Jessie Baxter and the Rev. Mark Harrison officiating.
Burial will be in Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Eric Campbell, Shannon Campbell, Jason Heath, James Sullivan, Josh Sullivan, Russell Sullivan and Will Sullivan.
