Givens D. Hughes
MORRIS, Ill. -- Givens Dana Hughes, 78, of Morris, formerly of Marion County, died Friday at Walnut Grove Healthcare Center in Morris.
Born June 8, 1922, in Marion County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Lily Johnson Burchell. She was a nurse's aide and a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church, Bradfordsville, the Royal Neighbors of America and Women of the Moose Lodge, Morris.
Survivors include her husband, James W. Hughes; three daughters, Carolyn Cleeton, Joanne Locher and Diane Terry, all of Morris; three sons, Donnie Hughes and Jerry Hughes, both of Morris, and Gary Hughes of Coal City, Ill.; a sister, Floy Atwood of Liberty; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. (CDT) Wednesday at U.C. Davis and Sons Funeral Home Ltd. by the Rev. Steven Lombardo. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Hughes, Scott Cleeton, Chad Neardsley, Jeremey Hughes, Terry Cleeton and Lenny Terry.
Memorials are suggested to Grundy Community Hospice.

Unita G. Medellin
LIBERTY -- Unita Gay Medellin, 38, of Highpoint Road died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born Oct. 28, 1961, in Liberty, she was a daughter of Alma Faye Atwood Rodgers Medellin of Liberty and the late Cliffton Carl Rodgers. She was a former employee of Trim Masters in Harrodsburg.
Additional survivors include her husband, Humberto Medellin; a son, Brian Kent Medellin of Liberty; four brothers, Dale Atwood, Michael Rodgers and Bobby Rodgers, all of Liberty, and Steven Rodgers of Lexington; a sister, Panela Fay of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; and a stepfather, Flepie Medellin of Liberty.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeff Edwards. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jessie C. Atwood, Jeff Atwood, Darrell Barlow, Cain Medellin, Jerry Rodgers and Juan Rodriquez.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Services for Bertha Mae Gray Napier, 69, of 404 N. Fifth St. will be 1 p.m. Monday at Smith-Jackson Funeral Home by the Rev. James Coulter. Burial will be in Hill-N-Dale Cemetery.

Born Nov. 9, 1931, in Danville, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Georgia H. Gray. She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church, Second and Walnut streets.

Napier; a daughter, Charlottee Gray Taylor of Atlanta; five sons, Emanuel Gray, Clifford Napier and Lamont Napier, both of Danville, Gary Gray of Cincinnati and Charles H. LANCASTER -- Services for Willie Frances Davis, 84, of Buckeye Road were Saturday at Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery.

Survivors include a son, Roy Walker David of Garrard County; a daughter, Patsy Hume of Garrard County; a brother, Collis Oneal Prather of Garrard County; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Born Aug. 18, 1961, in Hamilton County, Ohio, she was a daughter of Juanita Helton Gaines of Stanford and the late Virgil Lee Gaines. She was lay-away manager for Wal-Mart in Stanford, a 1979 graduate of Lincoln County High School and a member of the Church of God.
Additional survivors include her husband, Charles William Dunn; two stepdaughters, Vanessa Dykes of Somerset and Megan Dykes of Stanford; two brothers, Don Gaines of Stanford and Bobby Noe of Milford, Ohio; and four sisters, Charlotte Daniels of Stanford; Dorothy Jean Statham of Calvary Ridge and Watha Roark and Willadean Isaacs, both of Cincinnati.

Frankie P. Carlisle
LANCASTER -- Frankie P. Carlisle, 82, of Pleasant View Drive died Tuesday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital.
Born July 21, 1918, in Alamo, Texas, she was a daughter of the late James and Jessie Clark Permentert. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Raleigh, Tenn. She was the widow of James L. Carlisle.
Survivors include a son, Frank Sykes of Lancaster; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Memphis, Tenn.

Bradley G. Hayes
SPRINGFIELD -- Bradley Gilbert Hayes, 55, of Cardinal Drive, Danville, died Tuesday at his home after an illness.
Born Nov. 14, 1944, in Washington County, he was a son of the alt Gilbert and Ola B. Carey Hayes. He was manager of operations of Lawrenceburg Transfer Co. and a member of Indian Hills Christian Church. He attended Willisburg High School and graduated from Springfield High School. He also attended Western Kentucky University and graduated from Sullivan Business College.
Survivors include his wife, Mickie Goatley Hays; three daughters, Tracy M. Stewart of New Castle, Christine Wilson and Elizabeth King, both of Danville; a son, William A. Coulter of Danville; a brother, Aubrey Hayes of Springfield; three sisters, Donna Logsdon of Springfield, Doris Keeling and June Minor, both of Louisville; and five grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Carey & Son Funeral Home by Odis Clark and The Rev. Clay Stevens. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Douglas and Roger Keeling, George and Glenn Minor, Bill Dalzell and Charles Stephens. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Lawrenceburg Transfer, John Hayes and Frank Peters.

Mario Cuajilote
LANCASTER -- Services for Mario Cuajilote, 21, of Garrard County, formerly of Puebla, Mexico, will be held at a later date in Sn. Pablito, Mexico, and burial will be in Sn. Pablito Cemetery.
He died Saturday in a traffic accident on Buckeye Road.
He was a son of Esteban and Estela Cuajilote of Mexico. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Marcela Cuajilote Mendoze; and a daughter.

He died Tuesday at his home of natural causes.
