Arthur Russell Dethridge, 75
Arthur Russell Dethridge, 75, of Green County, Ky., died on Monday, April 19, 2004, at his home.
Son of the late Arthur Dethridge and Alene Pedigo Dethridge, he was born on Thursday, May 24, 1928, in Bowling Green, Ky.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the United States Army. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #565 F&AM;, Guiding Star Angle in Bronx, N.Y., the VFW Post #551 Haspel Steab in New York, The American Legion and a life member of the National Rifle Association.
He was formerly a home delivery milkman.
He was married
to Janet Ella Campbell on Dec. 23, 1947. She survives.
Survivors include one sister, Louise Cuccu of New York.
Funeral was on Thursday, April 22 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery of the Nolynn Association. The Rev. Twyman Davis officiated.
Pallbearers were Winfred Simpson, Marshal Davis, Greg Arnett, Ricky Arnett, Randall Davis and Dale Judd.
Beverly Reyna Slinker, 50
Beverly Reyna Slinker, 50, of Campbellsville died on Sunday, April 18, 2004, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.
Daughter of Durwood Slinker of Knob Lick, Ky., and Dottie Ann London Walton of Campbellsville, she was born on Aug. 28, 1953 in Barren County, Ky.
Besides her parents, Slinker is survived by her stepfather, Fred H. Walton of Campbellsville; and one half-brother, Daryl Russell of Fern Creek, Ky.
Funeral was on Wednesday, April 21, at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, Ky. Burial was in Center Cemetery in Center, Ky. Dr. Gary Ervin officiated.
Pallbearers were Larry Judd, Benny Judd, Joe Judd, Tommy London, Mike London and James D. London.
Lillian Marie Kelly Hartfield, 72
Lillian Marie Kelly Hartfield, 72, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Ky.
Daughter of the late James Matthew Kelly and Fanie Ethel Meadows Kelly, she was born on Friday, April 24, 1931, in Green County, Ky.
Hartfield was a member of Greensburg Baptist Church and was a former employee of Edmonton Manufacturing.
She was married
to Shively "Doc" Hartfield on April 2, 1949. He preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 1993.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and James Morris Cowherd of Greensburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Julia Hartfield of Greensburg; five grandchildren, Megan Hartfield, Kristen Hartfield and Matt Edwards, all of Greensburg, Brooke Cowherd of Bowling Green, Ky., and Russ Cowherd of Campbellsville; and two brothers, Leroy Kelly of Sulphur Well, Ky., and James Royce Kelly of Greensburg.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Lenwood Kelly.
Funeral was on Friday, April 23 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, with burial in Green County Memory Gardens Cemetery. The Rev. Ty Clenney officiated.
Pallbearer were Laymen Avery, Tommy Mills, David Spachman, Mike Kelly, Steve Curry and Bill Brown.
Richey Hubbard White, 70
Richey Hubbard White, 70, of Summersville, Ky., died on Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, Ky.
Son of the late Hubbard White and Gloria Grayson White, he was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served in the United States Air Force.
He was married
to Valerie Ovena Smith of Summersville on May 19, 1979. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Frisco White of Pennsylvania; four step-children, Kathy Green of Florida, Danny Lowe of North Carolina, David Lowe of Atlanta, Ga., and Tim Lowe of Florida; one grandchild; seven step-grandchildren; and two nieces.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 25 at Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church by the Revs. Freddie Norris and Kevin Brantley.
Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg was in charge of arrangements.

Dionne Spratt Ochsenbein, 31
Dionne Spratt Ochsenbein, 31, of Hodgenville, Ky., died on Thursday, April 22, 2004, in Campbellsville.
She was a student at Campbellsville University and a member of the Forensic Club.
She is survived by one son, David Ochsenbein; her parents, David and Diana Thompson Spratt of Elizabethtown, Ky.; and one brother, Daniel Spratt of Elizabethtown.
She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Lois Beams Spratt and James and Beverly Hutchins Thompson.
Funeral was on Sunday, April 25, 2004, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, with the Rev. Chuck Pollard officiating. Burial followed in Red Hill Cemetery.
Ralph Shuffett, 77
Ralph Shuffett, 77, of Greensburg, Ky., died on Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at Todd Dickey Medical Center in Levinworth, Ind.
Son of the late George Shuffett and Virgie Floyd Shuffett, he was born on Feb. 10, 1927 in Green County, Ky.
He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the United States Navy. He was also a member of Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM.;
He was married
to Wilma Leftwich on April 21, 1946. She survives.
Survivors include three daughters, Joetta Steinmetz, Peggy Sullivan and Marie Congleton, all of Louisville; one brother, Elroy Shuffett, Greensburg; two sisters, Audra Kelly of Indiana and Maxine Young of Vine Grove, Ky.; and six grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, John Terry Shuffett on Feb. 23, 2001; three sisters, Lucille Kenny, Bernice Shehan and Lenora Combs; and one brother, Charles Shuffett.
Funeral was on Sunday, April 25, 2004, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Dr. Gary Ervin officiated.
Pallbearers were Colva Leftwich, Marshall Sullivan, Coakley Leftwich, Josh Higgs, Ronnie Shuffett and Alan Steinmetz.
