Edward Harrison Martin, 91
Edward Harrison Martin, 91, of Campbellsville, Ky., formerly of LaRue County, Ky., died on Friday, Aug. 27, 2004, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.
Son of the late William Douglas and Viola Skaggs Martin, he was a member of Union Band Baptist Church in Howardstown, Ky., and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Edna Van Cleave of Campbellsville and Virginia Lois Martin of Elizabethtown, Ky.; two sons, James E. Martin of Elizabethtown and Russell Martin of Hodgenville, Ky.; six sisters, Nannie Metcalf and Jennie Perkins, both of Hodgenville, Lona Perkins of Elizabethtown, Linda Milby and Dorothy Burba, both of Louisville, Ky., and Florence Whitson of New Albany, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Sunday, Aug. 29 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville. Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Grace Goff Lobb, 93
Grace Goff Lobb, 93, of Green County, Ky., died on Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, at Summerfield Health Care Center in Louisville, Ky.
Daughter of the late O.L. Goff and Fannie Smith Goff, she was born in Green County on Aug. 18, 1911. She was a member of Summerville Church of the Nazarene and was the last living charter member.
She was married
to Harold Lobb, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, David W. and Eyvonne Lobb, Thomas Leon and Jeanette Lobb and Leslie Ewan and Evon Lobb, all of Louisville; one sister, Emma Milby of Greensburg, Ky.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral was Thursday, Sept. 2 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
The Rev. Jamie McCormack officiated. Burial was in Green County Memory Garden in Summersville, Ky.
Pallbearers were Dennis Wade Stearman, Jesse Goff, W.D. Lobb, Gary Henderson, Kenneth Goff and Billy Joe Dobson.
Sue Skaggs McKinley, 71
Sue Skaggs McKinley, 71, of Plainview Drive in Campbellsville, Ky., died at 1:03 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004.
Daughter of the late Albert Leslie Skaggs Sr. and Katherine Laha Skaggs, she was born on April 25, 1933 in Green County, Ky.
She was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church and retired as a teacher from the Campbellsville Independent School System after 27 years of service.
She was married
to Charles McKinley on June 4, 1952. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Nancy McKinley of Rochester, Minn., and Jeff and Jane McKinley of Ringgold, Ga.; one daughter, Janie Ellis of Columbia, Ky.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Stephens and Sally Johnson, both of Louisville, Ky., and Virginia Matthews of Greenville, N.C.; and one brother, Kenneth Skaggs of Winter Haven, Fla.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 3 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Dr. Paul W. Patton and Joe Hatchett. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Frank Hardin, Ron McMahan, John Miller, John Raganas, Richard RoBards, William A. Wethington, Harlie White and Jack Whitley.

Mazetta Lile Meadows, 87, of Green County, Ky., died on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Ky.
Daughter of the late Tony Lile and Louella Curry Lile, she was born in Green County on Sept. 27, 1916, and was a member of Little Barren Separate Baptist Church.
She married
Carl Buford Meadows on July 22, 1937. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1989.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Ronnie Holston of Green County; one brother, Doodle Lile of Green County; one sister, Elsie Matney of Green County; two step-grandchildren, Jeremy Holston of Campbellsville, Ky., and Alisha Shofner of Greensburg; four step-great-grandchildren; and a special great-niece and caretaker, Melissa Judd Brown of Greensburg.
Funeral was Monday, Aug. 30 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. The Revs. Eudell Stilts and Meryl Young officiated. Burial was in Greasy Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bobby Compton, Houston Ervin, Wayne Thompson, Doyle Edwards, Lile Thompson and Grady Thompson.

Gordon Rainwater, 67
Gordon Rainwater, 67, of Martin Road in Campbellsville, Ky., died at 2:47 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, in Campbellsville.
Son of the late Ras Rainwater and Lillian Ford Rainwater, he was born in Taylor County, Ky., on Sept. 22, 1936. He was a member of Bowman Street Separate Baptist Church, had served in the U.S. Army, was retired from Kentucky Cooperage and was a member of American Legion Edwards-O'Banion Post 82.
He married
Sandy Cave Rainwater on Dec. 29, 1981. She survives.
Survivors also include one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Ann and Gordon Caldwell of Campbellsville; one son and daughter-in-law, Gordon Jr. and Amber Rainwater of Georgetown, Ky.; three step-children, Sheree Sweeney and her husband Mike and Kenneth Agee, all of Campbellsville, and Michael Ray Spear of California; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Ernest Rainwater of Knifley, Ky., and J.D. Rainwater and Billy Rainwater, both of Campbellsville; and four sisters, Madeleine Cave, Helen Sharp, Lula Mae Bell and Barbara Skaggs, all of Campbellsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Rainwater; and one sister, Rose Sprowles.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4 at Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Bro. Matthew Lawhorn will officiate. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Daughter of Dorothy Adams Camp of Campbellsville and the late Charles T. Camp, she was born in Robertson County, Tenn., on Nov. 1, 1936. She was a member of Sunnyhill Church of Christ, a homemaker and was retired from Campbellsville Apparel.
She married
Bobby Lee on April 18, 1960. He survives.
