Jimmy Sprowles, 55
Jimmy Sprowles, 55, of Arvin Pike Road in Campbellsville, Ky., died on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004.
He was the son of Lorene Price of Campbellsville and the late Ervine Sprowles.
Survivors also include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joey Sprowles of Campbellsville and Jeff and Jennifer Pyles of Knifley, Ky.; three grandchildren, Kelsey Pyles and Caden Pyles, both of Knifley, and Shelby Rowland of Campbellsville; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Connie Sprowles, Glenn and Gayle Sprowles and Thomas Sprowles, all of Campbellsville; two sisters, Joyce Summers and Janice Sprowles, both of Campbellsville; and his grandmother, Ona Thompson of Campbellsville.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Sprowles; and one brother, Ricky Price.
Funeral was Tuesday, Sept. 21 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville. Elder Jimmy Sharp and Bro. Garland Skaggs officiated. Burial was in Zion Separate Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bobby Abell, Haskel Simpson, Steve Porter, Lanis Goode, Donnie Underwood and Greg Thompson.
Harold E. Antle, 83
Harold E. Antle, 83, of Columbus, Ind., formerly of Campbellsville, Ky., died at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, in Indiana.
Son of the late Claude Antle and Lou Ella Biggs Antle, he was born in Taylor County, Ky., on April 25, 1921. He was a member and former elder of World of Pentecost Church, a retired machinist from Cummins Engine Co. and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He married
Amanda L. Combs on Dec. 24, 1941. She survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Doug Antle of Coral Springs, Fla., and Larry Antle of Columbus; one sister, Nan Biggs of Illinois; five grandchildren, Charmaine Horan, Bryan Antle and Holly Erakine, all of Coral Springs, and Sydell Gant and Darren Antle, both of Columbus; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral was Saturday, Sept. 25 at World of Pentecost Church in Indiana. The Rev. Dan Mitchell officiated. Burial was in Garland Brook Cemetery.
Elizabeth Stone, 87
Elizabeth Stone, 87, of Old Greensburg Road in Campbellsville, Ky., died at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Cary U. Ware and Pearl Comer Ware, she was born in Taylor County, Ky., on Oct. 14, 1916. She was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a 1937 graduate of Campbellsville High School and a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.
She married
George Robert Stone on Oct. 20, 1939. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1982.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Abbie and James Mings of Campbellsville and Ann Sullivan of Louisville, Ky.; five grandchildren, Michael Mings and Kevin Mings, both of Campbellsville, Rhonda Mings Burns of Princeton, Ky., Jason Sullivan of Mt. Washington, Ky., and Ashley Todd Sullivan of Louisville; five great-grandchildren, Zachary Drew Mings, Jaycee Mings and Sydney Mings, all of Campbellsville, and Landon Burns and Shane Burns, both of Princeton; and three sisters, Peggy Pyles of Campbellsville and Ruth Bradshaw Shope and Ivy Goff, both of Elizabethtown.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James Ware, William Ware and Lennie Ware.
Funeral was Sunday, Sept. 19 at Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Revs. R.B. Mayes and Ron Ferree officiated. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens/

Walter Lee Parrott Sr., 87
Walter Lee Parrott Sr., 87, of Greensburg, Ky., died on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, at his home.
Son of the late Fred Lee Parrott and Bess Truman Young Parrott, he was born in Taylor County, Ky., on July 29, 1917. He was a member of Greensburg Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, owner and operated of Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and former owner of Saloma Store and Huckster. He was also a member Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM;, Scottish Rite SJUSA, Kosair Shrine, Lebanon Commandery #56 R&SM;, Knights Templar, American Legion Rod Lowe Post #124, James L. Pruitt VFW Post 5813, Green Count Sportsman Club, Green County Rotary Club and Green County Fire and Rescue Honorary Fireman.
He married
Rose Houser on Oct. 12, 1957. She survives.
Survivors also include two daughters and two sons-in-law, Ann Lee and Mike Judd of Greensburg and Nancy and Greg Smith of Lawrenceburg, Ky.; one son and daughter-in-law, Walt Jr. and Deana Parrott of Greensburg; six grandchildren, Reyn Judd, Leah Rose Judd, Olivia Parrott and Gracie Parrott, all of Greensburg, and Nicole Smith and Andrew Smith, both of Lawrenceburg; one sister, Helen Simpson of Greensburg; one sister-in-law, Joyce Parrott of Campbellsville, Ky.; and one brother-in-law Henry Allen Buchanan of Campbellsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert "Bob" Parrott; and one sister, Louise Buchanan.
Funeral was Thursday, Sept. 23 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. The Revs. Ferrill Gardner, Mike Akridge, Kevin Brantley and Freddie Norris officiated. Burial was in Greensburg Cemetery with military rites.

Zelma Miller, 70
Zelma Miller, 70, of Columbus, Ind., died at 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at St. Francis Select Specialty Hospital in Beech Grove, Ind.
Daughter of the late Lillard and Hattie Denny Wayman, she was born in Elkhorn, Ky., on April 3, 1934. She was a member of Cathedral of Praise Church of God in Columbus and was a homemaker.
She married
Callie Miller on June 3, 1954. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1988.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Henderson of Columbus, Frances Russell of Ottawa, Ill., and Janie Pittman of Seymour, Ind.; five sons, Steve Miller, Reese Miller and Norman Miller, all of Columbus, Rodney Miller of Streator, Ill., and Edgar Ray Miller of North Vernon; five step-children; two sisters, Stella Lynch of Edinburgh, Ind., and Alma Ford of Campbellsville, Ky.; four brothers, Donald Wayman of Campbellsville, Joe Wayman of Mannsville, Ky., Harold Wayman of Elkhorn and Junior Wayman of Taylorsville, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Vernon Wayman, Charles Wayman and Edgar Wayman; and one grandchild.

Roxie Ozell Davis, 84, of Green County, Ky., died on Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, Ky.
Daughter of the late Frank and Annie Wright Davis, she was born in Green County on June 12, 1920. She was a member of Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church of the Nolynn Association.
She was married
to Boyce Cutler Davis, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Scottie and Pat Davis of Greensburg; two daughters and three sons-in-law, Reeda and Jim Woolf of Hickory, N.C., and Zora and Jasper Clymer of Greensburg and Junior Wooldridge, all of Greensburg; three sisters, Wanain Judd of Elizabethtown, Ky., Orvenice Bishop of Greensburg and Athena Vaughn of Bowling Green, Ky.; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
