Spencer Hodge, 89
Spencer Hodge, 89, of Bell Avenue in Campbellsville, died on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004.
Son of the late Ira and Hattie Caudill Hodge, he was a retired electrician from Fruit of the Loom.
Survivors include three daughters, Gail Pierce of Greensburg, Ky., Marquitta Oswald of Crab Orchard, Ky., and Dorothy Daley of Georgetown, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial service was Saturday, Jan. 1 at Lowell Avenue Baptist Church in Campbellsville. The Rev. Gary Ervin officiated.

Lola Nelle Bertram, 83
Lola Nelle Bertram, 83, of Campbellsville died on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, at Springfield Nursing and Rehab in Springfield, Ky., after an illness.
Daughter of the late Clarence and Maude Baumgardner Newton, she was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and was retired from Taylor County Hospital.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Kim Bertram; two grandchildren, Cassie Bertram and Cody Bertram; and one brother and sister-in-law, C.L. "Buddy" and Tucker Newton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Bertram; one brother, Bernard Newton; and one sister, Kathleen Sandusky.
Funeral was Tuesday, Dec. 21 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Michael Schumann, Jeffrey Schumann, Patrick Newton, Drew Newton, Ricky Newton and Dale Keith Sandusky.
Eyvind Davis, 78
Eyvind Davis, 78, of Green County, Ky., died on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Son of the late Otis "Otie" and Vallerie Pierce Davis, he was born in Green County on Oct. 9, 1926. He was a member of Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was married
to Mable Aleene White Davis, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Michael Eyvind Davis of Greensburg, Ky.; and one grandson, Jonathan Michael Davis of Greensburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Samuel Davis, Buford Davis, Garnett Davis, Carlos Davis and Otis Davis Jr.; and one sister, Tranny Arnett.
Funeral was Wednesday, Jan. 5 at Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church. The Revs. Howard Moran, Trent Davis, Jim Collison and Twyman Davis officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.
Pallbearers were Jonathan Davis, Daniel Judd, Cory Coomer, Bobby Arnett, Dale Judd and Billy Dangerfield.
Honorary pallbearers were Scott Estes, Steve Arnett and class No. 2 of Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church.

Arlene Bale Perry Neal, 77
Arlene Bale Perry Neal, 77, of Lexington, Ky., died on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lexington.
Daughter of the late Raymond L. Bale and Audrey Scott Bale, she was born near Magnolia, Ky. on April 4, 1927. She owned several businesses during her life, including a beauty salon and a trucking company. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, the Lioness Club and a Barker Fellow of University of Kentucky.
She married
Thomas Perry on April 8, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1985. She married
Milton Neal on March 12, 2001. He survives.
Survivors also include two sons, John Perry of Nashville, Tenn., and Scott Perry of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren, Charles Thomas Perry, Keenan Smith Perry, Meredith Scott Perry and Olivia Alexandra Perry; one aunt, Ruby Bale of Magnolia; and one sister-in-law, Juanita Wells of Campbellsville.
Funeral was Friday, Jan. 7 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. The Rev. Robert Baker officiated. Burial was in Greensburg Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Milton Neal, Keenan Perry, John Perry, Charles Perry, Scott Perry and Larry Wells.
Beulah Quinn, 72
Beulah Quinn, 72, of Jackson Tower in Campbellsville, died at 5 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Newt Bennett and Rhoda Hunt Bennett, she was born in Taylor County on May 8, 1932. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was employed at Fruit of the Loom for 21 years.
She was married
to Ivan Quinn on Nov. 8, 1952. He preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1993.
Survivors include two sisters, Opal Wright of Campbellsville and Shelby Moore of Greensburg, Ky.; one half-sister, Mae Bell of Campbellsville; 10 nieces and nephews, Connie Stiles, Tommy Knopp, Sammie Knopp, Jeff Wright, Kathy Janes, Terry Knopp, Cindy Gabehart, Pam Compton, Troy Moore and Sue Ann Wheatley; and one special cousin, Lawrence Hunt of Campbellsville.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Frances Knopp on March 6, 1990.
Funeral was Wednesday, Dec. 29 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Revs. Wayne Brooks and Ron Ferree officiated. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tony Gabehart, Sammie Knopp, Terry Knopp, Troy Moore, Barry Wheatley and Jeff Wright.
Honorary pallbearers were residents of Jackson Tower and the ladies of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Elizabeth K. 'Beth' Gentry, 89
Elizabeth K. "Beth" Gentry, 89, of Green County, Ky., died on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at University Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Daughter of the late Rudy Jefferson Kidwell and Troy Palace Davis Kidwell Judd Perkins, she was born in Green County on Nov. 2, 1915. She was a member of Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She married
Corsby Leo Gentry on Dec. 12, 1936. He preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 1978.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Guinevere and the Rev. Ivan Jones of Greensburg, Ky., and Gwynean and Jerry Bagby of Grab, Ky.; four sisters, Iley Judd of Campbellsville, Olga Ennis of Louisville, Eugenia Simpson of Grab and Agnes Hamblin of Florida; one brother, A.D. Judd of Louisville; three grandchildren, Robin Davis and her husband, Mark, and Annette McKinney and her husband, Kelly, all of Green County, and Rudy J. Jones of Hodgenville; four great-grandchildren, Adam Jones Davis of Bowling Green, Ky., Sarah Rose Davis, Thomas DeSpain II and Bethanne DeSpain, all of Green County; and three step-great-grandchildren, Krissi McKinney, Cody McKinney and Jody McKinney, all of Green County.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond T. Judd, Herman Judd, Clarence Judd and Vernon Judd; and two sisters, Mamie Bloyd and Gracie Moran.
Funeral was Friday, Dec. 31 at Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church. The Revs. Garnett Tucker Jr. and Trent Davis officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were all her nieces and nephews and their spouses.
