Frankie Ray Hoskins, 61, of Stoney Fork, died on Monday, July 15, 2002 at his home. He was born in Stoney Fork on February 16, 1941 a son of the late Berry and Cardie Saylor Hoskins. He had been an auto body repair man and had worked at Ritter Lumber.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky and Danny Hoskins and a brother, Stanley Hoskins.
Survivors include his children, Stanley and Sherri Hoskins of Pineville, Melissa and Dave Michael of Seaman, OH and Marcia and Chris Michael of Hillsboro, OH, grandchildren, Danielle Booth, Seth Michael, Allison Michael and Sydney Michael; sister, Doris Sinkhorn, brother, Danny Hoskins, mother of his children, Jackie Reeves, dear friend, Tammy Akers and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Hoskins Family Cemetery at Stoney Fork with Rev. Thea O. Carter. Pallbearers will be Stanley Hoskins, Danny Hoskins, Dave Michael, Chris Michael, Joe Hoskins and Jimmy Lowe. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Hoskins, Archie Hoskins, Tip Brown, Fred Hoskins and Benis Venable.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mr. Cova S. Lile, age 92 of Green County, passed away Thursday at the Audubon Hospital in Louisville.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Bonnie McCafferty and Carol Walker, both of Louisville.
1 granddaughter: Tracy Allen of Louisville
2 great-grandsons: Jacob Lile Allen and Nicholas Patrick Allen, both of Louisville.
The funeral services for Mr. Cova S. Lile will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 P.M. at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral home with burial to follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Lettie Durham Moore

Mrs. Lettie Durham Perkins Moore, the daughter of the late John T. Durham, Sr and Mattie Florence Hoagland Durham, was born Monday, August 14, 1905 in Taylor County and departed this life Thursday, October 17, 2002 in Greensburg at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home. She was 97 years, 2 months and 4 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was the longest existing member of the Greensburg Baptist Church, having joined in 1916 and taught Sunday School for 25 years and attended regularly until her health failed. She was a past president of the WMU, a past leader of the GA’s for several years, a charter member or the Homemakers Group, a member of the Historical Society and was a former clerk for a tobacco warehouse and the John Durham Market.
She united in marriage on March 20, 1926 to William F. Perkins who preceded her in death in March 1956. To this union was born one son and one daughter: James Alexander Perkins who preceded her in death in January 1967 and Mary Jane Perkins who preceded her in death in 1945.
She later united in marriage in 1963 to Joseph Moore who preceded her in death November 1970.
Survivors include one brother: John T. Durham, Jr and his wife Mattie of Campbellsville; two nephews: Jeff Durham of Campbellsville and H.H. “Ike” Durham of Greensburg; one niece: Linda Hall of Greensburg; a host of great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends survive.
The funeral service for Mrs. Lettie Durham Perkins Moore will be conducted Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Rev. Ty Clenney will be officiating.
