MR. E. J. MILBY, SON OF THE LATE MR. E. O. MILBY AND MRS. PRISCILLA CANTRELL MILBY, WAS BORN JUNE 27, 1923 IN GREEN COUNTY AND DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 26, 2003 IN NASHVILLE, TN. HE WAS 79 YEARS, 6 MONTHS, AND 30 DAYS OF AGE.
Mr. Milby was the owner of : E. J. Milby Builders Supply in Greensburg, Milby Lumber and Supply in Campbellsville, and H. E. Shively Jewelers in Greensburg.
He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the United States Army.
He was also a developer and builder.
He was a member of the Greensburg Rotary Club, where he was also a Paul Harris Fellow, Gideons International, and the Greensburg Church of the Nazarene.
He was a former Greensburg City Councilman, a Kentucky Colonel under 2 different Governors, served on the board of directors of the Kentucky Retail Lumber Dealers Association, Board of Trustees of the Trevecca Nazarene University, and also served in several capacities for his local church.
MR. MILBY UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO MISS INEZ MILBY ON FEBRUARY 25, 1941, WHO SURVIVES.
HE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY 2 DAUGHTERS AND A SON-IN-LAW: JAN & MARK GREATHOUSE AND RITA HERNANDEZ, BOTH OF NASHVILLE; TWO BROTHERS AND 1 SISTER: EDGAR MILBY OF CAMPBELLSVILLE, MOSS MILBY OF GREENSBURG, AND ICIE THOMPSON OF GREENSBURG; 4 GRANDCHILDREN AND SPOUSES: MATT & LAUREEN GREATHOUSE OF WI., WES & ANGELIQUE OF NASHVILLE, ALICIA & CAMILLE HERNANDEZ, BOTH OF NASHVILLE, AND 3 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN.

Mr. Howard Russell, age 79 years, of the Gabe Community of Green County, passed away Tuesday in Louisville at the Norton Hospital.
He is survived by three sons & spouses: Barry & Debbie Russell, Ben & Beverly Russell and Gary Dean Russell all of Greensburg.
One daughter & spouse: Wanda & Robert Beyer of Louisville.
A son-in-law: Phillip Milby of Green County
One brother: Ned Russell of Magnolia
One sister: Isabelle Nunn of Louisville
A host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends survive.
The funeral services for Mr. Howard Russell will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, with burial in the Wilson Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M., Friday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.
Family request that expressions of sympathy are to take the form of donations to the: American Diabetes Association or the Green County Emergency Management Services. These can be made at the funeral home.

Mr. Joseph David Snow, son of the Mrs. Ina Conner Snow of Greensburg and the late Mr. Kenneth Snow, was born August 15, 1952 in Russell County and departed this life on Thursday, January 30, 2003 at the Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was 50 years, five months, and 15 days of age.
He attended the Bridge Church in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He is also survived by one daughter: Lisa Snow of Texas; one sister and one brother: Jackie Goff of Campbellsville and Junior Snow of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren: Mariah Collier of Texas, Justin Snow of Texas, and Jade Snow of St. Petersburg, Florida. He was also preceded in death by his daughter: Teresa Gail Snow on June 16, 2002; a grandchild: Joshua Joseph Snow; three brothers and two sisters: Jimmy Snow, Jerry Snow, Joyce Matney, Jason Snow, and Jeanice Snow.
The funeral services for Mr. Joseph David Snow, will be conducted at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, February 2, 2003 at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, with burial in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Rev. Leo Curry will be officiating.

Mrs. Ada Mae Kidd, the daughter of the late Dora C. Kidd and Birdie Houk Kidd, was born Friday, January 29, 1909 in Greens County and departed this life on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 in Greensburg at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home. She was 94 years, 4 months and 5 days of age.
She was a self-employed barber in Greensburg.
She is survived by two half-brothers: Wayne Kidd and Cliff Kidd both of Louisville and a host of other relatives and friends.
Miss Kidd was preceded in death by two brothers: Lemand Kidd and Otha Kidd; two sisters: Elsie Huff and Beulah Atwell and a half-brother: Forrest Kidd.
The funeral service for Miss Ada Mae Kidd will be conducted Friday, June 6, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Kidd Cemetery in Green County. Rev. Wilburn Bonta will be officiating.

Mr. Bobby Joe Beard, Sr., the son of Catherine Curry Beard of Greensburg and the late Opal Beard, was born Wednesday, November 18, 1942 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 in Green County at his residence. He was 61 years, 4 months and 13 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liletown United Methodist Church. He was an employee of Campbellsville Industries and was a farmer.
He united in marriage on July 15, 1961 to Rebecca Jean London, who survives.
Also surviving is a daughter and son-in-law: Debbie and Bendal Bagby; two sons and daughters-in-law: Bobby Joe Jr and Lynn Beard and Billy Joe and Tina Beard all of Green County; a sister and brother-in-law: Carol and Jerry Lawler of Green County; six grandchildren: Brandon Bagby, Brianne Bagby, Candice Beard, Kelsea Beard, Catlin Beard, and Clayton Beard, all of Green County.
The funeral services for Mr. Bobby Joe Beard, Sr., will be conducted Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Curry Family Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Crump will be officiating.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Central KY or the donation of Gideon Bibles, these can be made at the funeral home.

Mrs. Helen Beatrice Jeffries Creason, the daughter of the late Willie Jeffries and Dora Coomer Jeffries, was born Sunday, June 29, 1924 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 in Greensburg at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home. She was 79 years, 8 months and 25 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Russell Creek Missionary Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
She united in marriage on March 6, 1944 to James Franklin Creason, who preceded her in death on May 20, 2003.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Kenneth and Sherry Creason of Greensburg; two daughters and sons-in-law: Peggy and Timmy Pierce of Greensburg and Susie and David Dobson of Summersville.
Also surviving are three sisters and a brother: Dorothy Pierce, Roxie Thompson, Cleo Pierce and Mitchell Jeffries all of Green County; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight step-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
Mrs. Creason was preceded in death two brothers: Garnett and Olin Jeffries and a sister in infancy.
The funeral services for Mrs. Helen Jeffries Creason, will be conducted on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Warf Cemetery. Rev. Mitchell Jeffries will be officiating.
