Mrs. Lillie Francis Kessler, age 92 of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday in Greensburg.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Janet Overly of Lexington and Karen and Bernie Blakeman of Bowling Green.
A daughter-in-law: Connie Kessler of Greensburg.
Five grandchildren and spouses: Bruce and Heather Kessler, Jason and Beth Blakeman, Sarah and Steve Lagerman and Lee and Amanda Blakeman, all of Bowling Green and Bryan and Donna Kessler of Greensburg.
9 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
The funeral service for Mrs. Lille Francis Kessler will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Family requests visitation from 2:30-8 PM on Friday and on Saturday until time for service.

Mrs. Hettie Pearl McGinnis, daughter of the late Clem Beard and Nancy Wade Beard, was born on Thursday, September 25, 1913 in Green County and departed this life on Monday, July 31, 2006 at the University of Louisville Hospital. She was 92 years, 10 months and 6 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church and a homemaker.
She united in marriage to Kenneth King McGinnis on March 3, 1938 who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a sister: Margaret Tucker of Louisville; two sisters-in-law: Catherine Beard and Flossie Beard both of Greensburg.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister: Clem Taylor Beard, Abel Beard, Guy Beard, Lucian Beard, and Cleo Paxton.
The funeral services for Mrs. Hettie Pearl McGinnis will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Dwight Forderhase will be officiating.

Master Braiden Lukas Meadows, 18 months old of Greensburg, died Monday at the Kosair Children Hospital in Louisville.
He is survived by his parents: Jonathan Dale Meadows & Tiffany Lynn Judd Meadows, both of Greensburg.
His grandparents: Gale Wright and Dale & Dana Meadows, all of Greensburg.
His great-grandparents: Billy & Joyce Simpson, H. L. & Betty Judd, Paul & Margie Price, and Robert & L. B. Meadows, all of Greensburg.
And a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral services for Master Braiden Lukas Meadows will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12:00 Noon Wednesday until time of the service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Ronald McDonald House or the Hearts & Hands Pallative Care, which can be made at the funeral Home.

Mr. William Harry Miller of Greensburg, son of the late Fount Miller and Anna Mae Durham Miller, was born on Tuesday, December 10, 1946 in Scottsville, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, September 24, 2006 at his home in Greensburg. He was 59 years, 9 months and 14 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church and a former Maintenance worker at the Ramada Inn in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
He united in marriage to Mary Linda Bell on November 23, 1993 who survives.
Other survivors include two step-sons and their spouses: Randall and Sharon Bell of Campbellsville and Buford “Bim” Bell and Melinda Bell of Greensburg; four step-grandchildren: Latasha Bell and Brooke Bell both of Campbellsville and Erin Bell and Art Bell both of Greensburg; two sisters-in-law: Jerlene Burris and Margie Harmon both of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Joseph Oppedisano of Greensburg, son of the late Salvatore Oppedisano and Carmela Caluccio Oppedisano, was born on Saturday, September 11, 1920 in Gioiosa Ionica, Reggio Calebria, Italy and departed this life on Sunday, July 30, 2006 at the University of Kentucky Hospital Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was 85 years, 10 months and 19 days of age.
As a child, Joseph worked and learned the trade of tailoring. Attended a music school and was a trumpet player and youngest member of the town band. They played mainly classical music and Joseph had a special love of opera most of his life. At the age of 12 the band toured throughout Southern Italy and Sicily by riding bicycles. Joseph's father came to the United States when Joseph was a young child in order to support his family. In November 1936, by request of his father, Joseph came to Brooklyn, New York to help in the produce store. His father passed away in 1937 leaving Joseph with Italian relatives. He worked in factories and attended the Greenwich Village School of Music in New York. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army. A member of the American Legion Rod Lowe Post 124. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Catholic faith. Having lived in New York for many years, he owned and operated the Mallies Italian Restaurant located in the heart of the theatre district. He later moved and was the owner and operator of the DeSanto's Italian Restaurant located in Louisville, Kentucky.
He loved cooking and enjoyed Billard's, in which he won many trophies. He was also a sports fan, with soccer being special to him and the Tour de France. Having lived in Kentucky he also became a great basketball fan.
He united in marriage to Margaret Lillian Gorin on April 21, 1962 who survives.
With family being of the utmost importance, other survivors include three sisters-in-law: Vera Oppedisano of Morganville, New Jersey and Lynda Gorin Lobb of Greensburg and Assunta Oppedisano of Torino, Italy; Nieces and Nephews: Bill and Becky Lobb of Greensburg, Leslie and Ronnie Teague of Greensburg; Robert Oppedisano and Matthew Oppedisano both of New Jersey, Lt. Co. David Oppedisano of Pennsylvania, Paul Oppedisano of Virginia and Mario Oppedisano of Torino, Italy; great-nieces and a great-nephews: Robert Oppedisano, Jr. and Rachel Oppedisano both of New Jersey, Michael Oppedisano, Marissa Oppedisano and Olivia Oppedisano all of Pennsylvania, Paul Oppedisano, Allyssa Oppedisano and Amanda Oppedisano all of Virginia, Matthew Oppedisano, Jr. of New Jersey, Latisha Janes, Samuel Janes and Lydia Teague all of Greensburg; first cousins living throughout the United States, whom he always felt devoted to and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, with Joseph being the oldest: Eugene Oppedisano, Amedeo Oppedisano and Rudolpho Opedisano.
The funeral services for Mr. Joseph Oppedisano will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 02, 2006 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Greensburg Cemetery. Ray Acree will be officiating.

Mrs. Brenda Sue Tucker Read, daughter of the late William Billy Tucker and Audrey Kessler Tucker, was born on Tuesday, January 22, 1952 in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. She was 54 years, 7 months and 18 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ladies Chapel United Methodist Church, a fifteen year employee with Union Underwear and a former foster parent.
She united in marriage to Larry Read on October 28 1978 who survives.
Other survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Jamie and Jessica Coffey of Greensburg and Joshua Read of Greensburg; three sisters: Patsy Nunn, Rita Davis and Diane Poynter all Green County; five brothers: Doyce Tucker, Bobby Joe 'Cotton' Tucker, Ronald Tucker and Mark 'Bunny' Tucker all of Green County and Keith Tucker of Campbellsville; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Sue Tucker Read will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pierce Community Cemetery. Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis will be officiating.
