SCIENCE HILL -- Bessie Rachel Shelton Brown, 65, of Waynesburg died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Oct. 15, 1934, in Ellison Ridge, she was a daughter of the late William L. and Effie R. Phillippe Shelton. She was a homemaker and a member of Double Springs Baptist Church, Waynesburg.
Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Brown; a daughter, Sue Stoddard of Mississippi; four sons, Randal Brown of Kings Mountain, Jimmie Brown and Edward Brown, both of Junction City, and Charles Brown of Stanford; four daughters, Rita Maddox of Stanford, Carol Williams and Sheila Brown, both of Waynesburg, and Sharon Carney of Danville; and three sisters, Bea Staton of Kings Mountain, Sarah Ashley of Eubank and Velma Addington of Waynesburg; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Johnnie R. Brown and Greta L. Brown.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Double Springs Baptist Church by the Rev. Brad King. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday at the church.

HARRODSBURG -- Mary Ethel Gray, 93, of Talmadge-Mayo Road died Thursday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born July 17, 1907, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Henry L. and Margaret J. Sanders Robinson. She was a retired Mercer County teacher and a former state employee. She also was a member of Mount Hebron Methodist Church where she was pianist and treasurer for several years. She was the widow of James P. Gray.
Survivors include three nieces, Oneita Searcy of Louisville, Ruth Robinson of Lexington and Amile Robinson of Frankfort.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Elwood Norton and Mason Harrod. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today.

Survivors include a son, Deward Faulkner of Reading, Ohio; four daughters, Mary A. Jackson of Norwood, Ohio, Vivian I. Murphy of Fairfield, Ohio, Marie Taulbee of Clarksville, Ohio, and Freida M. Simpson of West Chester, Ohio; a brother, Herbert Arnold of Flat; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Born April 13, 1921, in Harrodsburg, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Frances Bowling Moore. She was the widow of Edward T. Graham. She was a retired Corning Inc. employee and a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Tom Graham of Lexington; and a sister, Blanche Sharp of Shepherdsville.
Pallbearers were Harry Hatter, Michael, Ronnie and Roy Gene Moore, Brooks Beatty and Chuck Bugg.
Honorary pallbearers are H.B. Wilham and Travis Bugg.
