Earl G. Moore, Jr., 69, Louisville Road, husband of Christa Lois Johnson Moore, died Sunday, April 18, 2004 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Born March 9, 1935 in Woodford County, he was the son of the late Earl Griggs and Enola Foley Moore.
He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, a member of the Mercer Co. Farm Bureau, and a member and deacon of the Carpenter’s Christian Church of Harrodsburg.
Survivors besides his wife include: three daughters, Lori M. Mendoza, Lexington. Lisa Ellen and her husband Jimmy “Yogi” Yeager, Salvisa, and Lucinda and her husband Shane Travillian, Harrodsburg; one sister Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Hays, Pearland, Texas; seven grandchildren, Nickie Yeager, Buddy Yeager, Danni Yeager, Staci Yeager, Jason Logue, Jesse Logue, and Ryan Mendoza, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 21st at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Greg Warren and Don Hill. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: William Earl Yeager, Jason and Jesse Logue, Walter Wayne, Bruce Noel, Charles Hays, Hershel Votaw, and Maurice Baker. Honorary bearers are Glen Devine, Hughes Jones, Marion Ray Inman, Larry Camic, Ed Moore, Ed Moore, Jr., Russell Foley and The Spirit Lifters.
Visitation will be after 5:00 pm Tuesday and after 7:30 am Wednesday at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Carpenter’s Christian Church Building Fund.

Julius Hungate, age 84, Mackville Road, Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born August 19, 1919 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Henry and Cordelia Tyler Hungate.
He was a graduate of Rose Hill High School and Eastern Kentucky University; was a retired teacher for the Mercer County School System after 45 years, was an avid artist, musician, and fisherman; he was a member of the Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church where he also served as a choir member.
Survivors include; a sister Virgie Vandivier, Mercer County; a nephew, Barry Vandivier, Mercer County and a number of cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, May 15th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. Greg Humpert. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Larry Camic, Darryl Catlett, Mike Camic, Brian Stewart, John Harlow and Brent Steel. Honorary bearers will be members his Sunday School Class at Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church, Fred Purvis, and Kermit Logue.

Born January 20, 1940 in Marion County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hazel Lee Webb Tate. She was married
to Wilmer Lee ´Buck´ Merriman. Susie was a retired inspector for Corning Glass Inc and a member of the Shakertown Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to her husband are; one daughter: Rita (Keith) Monson of Burgin, KY and one son: Jimmy (Grace) Cloyd of Danville, KY; two sisters: Ester Carey of Mercer County, KY, Vergie (Larry) Richards of Harrodsburg, KY; and one brother: Jay (Karen) Tate of Leesburg, AL; a Step Son, David Lee Merriman of Boston, MA; a Step Daughter, Teresa Nater of Orlando, FL; a Granddaughter, Leeann Turner and a Grandson, Brian Monson; 1 great grandchild.

Eugene Gammon Jr., age 82, Harrodsburg, widower of Quanita Faye Drury Gammon, died Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born June 22, 1923 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Eugene and Willa Mae (Royalty) Gammon, Sr.. He served during World War II in the Army. He was a retired carpenter for Burchfield and Thomas. Eugene was a member of the Salvisa Baptist Church, American Legion V.F.W. and the Salvisa Masonic Lodge 125 F & AM.
Survivors include: a daughter: Pam Votaw of Lawrenceburg, KY and a son: Lynn (Carolyn) Gammon of Harrodsburg, KY; a sister: Patsy Baylor of Lima, OH; Six (6) Grandchildren; Four (4) Great Grandchildren.

Born October 13, 1923 in Anderson County, KY, he was the son of the late Roy and Verna (Currens) Robinson. He was a carpenter and a member of the Shawnee Run Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife: Verna Ellen (Woods) Robinson, three daughters: Faye (Digger) O'Dell of Frankfort, KY, Wanda (Vance) Pinkston of Harrodsburg, KY, Vickie (Danny) Dunn of Georgetown, KY and one son: Ronnie (Vicki) Robinson of Salvisa, KY; 7 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren; three sisters: Adeline Keightley of Mercer Co., KY, Elberta Sea of Anderson Co., KY, Evelyn McGee of Jeffersontown, KY; and three brothers: Hubert Robinson of Lawrenceburg, KY, L.H.
