Mignon Johnson, age 92, 117A Royalty Heights, Salvisa, widow of Wilbur N. Johnson, died Thursday, November 16, 2006 at her home in Salvisa, KY.
Born October 29, 1914 in Anderson County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Vege and Elizabeth (Gregory) Hendren. She was a retired secretary for the Harrodsburg Vocational School & North Mercer Water District and a Salvisa Baptist Church member, Sunday School Teacher for the Gill Reapers Class and a choir member. She was also am member of Prayer Warriors and Salvisa Concerned Citizens.
Survivors include: two Daughters - in - law, Shirley Johnson and Sharon Bowman; Five Grandchildren, John Mark Johnson, Roni Beth Johnson Crouch, Chris Johnson, Jennifer Johnson and Michelle Hanlin; 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons: Ronnie Lee and Michael D. Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM, Sunday, November 19 at the Salvisa Baptist Church by Jason Clark and Larry Koch with burial to follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Johnny Jordan, David Pennington, Rusty Johnson, Troy Stratton, Joe Morris, Jerry Kayes, Kent Sparrow, Larry Boswell and Paul Hughes. The Deacons of Salvisa Baptist and the Vocational School Teachers and Staff are to serve as Honorary Bearers.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 18 after 5:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.

Russell Lee Curtsinger, age 89, 705 Beaumont Ave., Harrodsburg, husband of Nancy Bugg Stratton Curtsinger and widower of Ann Browning Curtsinger, died Friday, December 29, 2006 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born November 11, 1917 in Casey Co., KY, he was the son of the late John Henderson and Hattie Lee (Guthrie) Curtsinger. He was a retired auto body repairman, and had worked as a craftsman at Shaker Village. He was an Army veteran of WWII and a member of the Eller’s Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors other than his wife include: four daughters, Ruth Ann Thompson of Lexington, KY, Linda (Charles) Mattingly of Harrodsburg, KY, Connie (David) Patrick of Harrodsburg, KY, Vicki (Eddie) Tewmey of Harrodsburg, KY; and one son, William Lee (Kathleen) Curtsinger of Danville, KY, and a step daughter: Susan Stratton Pryor of Bowling Green, KY; 11 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Russell Curtsinger III, one grandchild, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Kenneth Whitehouse. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are Jason Tewmey, Aaron Thompson, Charles Patrick II, Tracy Cerise, Tommy and John Willie Watts..

Robert Lee Sadler, age 76, Harrodsburg, died Friday, November 24, 2006 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born January 2, 1930 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late James and Mattie (Anderson) Sadler. He served in the U. S. Navy during Korean war. He was a retired Electrician at Corning Glass and a member of the Ellers Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife: Loretta Reeves (Sheperson) Sadler, one daughter: Becky (Chuck) McKinney of Harrodsburg, KY; and two sons: Sam (Pam) Sadler of Harrodsburg, KY, Neil Sadler of Harrodsburg, KY; one brother: George Sadler of Louisville, KY; six Grandchildren, one Step Grandchild, One Great Grandchild. He was predeceased by three sisters: Lulia Lester, Ruth Turner and Elizabeth Merriman and two brothers: Elmore and Campbell Sadler.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday November 27, 2006, at Spring Hill Cemetery by Bill Wickersham with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.

Walter David Stocker, age 86, Harrodsburg, husband of Frances True Freeman Stocker, died Thursday, December 7, 2006 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center., Harrodsburg, KY.
Born August 15, 1920 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late John and Frances Trueheart (Curd) Stocker. He served during World War II in the Army. He was a Universal Button Co. supervisor and a member of the Overland Church of Christ in Lawrenceburg. Survivors include: his wife: Frances True (Freeman) Stocker, one daughter: Jennifer “Ginger” and her husband Robin Parks of Versailles, KY and two sons: Walter “Skip’ and his wife Joy Stocker of Harrodsburg, KY, Donald Thomas ”Tommy” and his wife Jan Stocker of Bloomington, IN; one sister: Annell Scott of Harrodsburg, KY; and two brothers: Luther Donald Stocker of Burgin, KY, Jimmy and his wife Geneva Stocker of Frankfort, KY; Nine (9) Grandchildren; Two (2) Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Friday, December 8 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Mike Estes with burial in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville.

Margaret Marie Price Baker Willis, age 80, Adams Lane, Harrodsburg, widow of John Baker and Joe C. Willis, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at her home in Harrodsburg, KY.
Born December 26, 1925 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Eva Lena (Carmickle) Price. She was a retired seamstress from Cricketeer Mfg. Co. and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Hopewell Homemakers, Constitution Square Dance Club, she was a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed RV Camping, crafts and sewing.
Survivors include: a daughter: Joyce (Connie) Darland of Harrodsburg, KY and a son: William C. (Linda) Baker of Harrodsburg, KY; three sisters: Irene Robinson and Helen Foster of Mercer County, and Rosie Lee Peavler of Burgin, KY; one brother: Leroy Price of Pleasant Plain, OH; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by three brother and a sister; J.B. Price Sr., James & Howard Price and Lucille Sanders.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Friday, June 9 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by David Collier and Brian Burkhead and Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.

BRUCE S. GOODLETT
Bruce Shelby Goodlett, age 67, Kirkwood Road, Mercer County, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at his home. Born April 11, 1938 in Salvisa, he was the son of the late H.C. and Ruby Nichols Goodlett.
He was a member and deacon of the Kirkwood Baptist Church, former member and past President of the Salvisa Ruritan Club where he served as the Salvisa Christmas Parade Chairman for several years, was a thirty - six year member of the Oleika Shrine in Lexington, a member, secretary and treasurer of the Wilderness Shrine Club, a member of the York Rite, a member of the St. John’s Masonic Lodge # 125, a retired IBM employee, a member of the National Auctioneer’s Association, a member of the Kentucky Auctioneer’s Association where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005, was a US Army Veteran, was a licensed real estate broker and auctioneer for Sims Auction and Realty Company for many years and was associated with Parks Funeral for a number of years.
Survivors include three sisters: Roberta and her husband Joe Stamper, Owenton, Aileen and her husband Claude Clark, Louisville and Lucille and her husband Larry Morris, Harrodsburg; several nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother James L. Goodlett.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, April 9th at the Kirkwood Baptist Church by Bro. Jerel Coffey. Burial will be in the Kirkwood Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, April 8th from 4 until 8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Masonic services to be conducted at 7:30 pm.
Pallbearers are: Gene Lawson, Daniel D. Stewart, III, Bill Brinkley, Bob Trisler, Jimmy Sexton, Billy Chilton, Bobby Thompson, and Dr. Ernest G. Estridge.
Memorials are suggested to the Oleika Shriner’s Crippled Children’s Hospital in Lexington, KY.
