Aaron Justin Foley, 19-month-old son of Randall E. Foley and Linda Kay Foley, both of Danville, died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a brother, Joshua Blake Foley of Danville; grandparents, Donald and Peggy Hooper of Stanford and Wanda McPherson of Garrard County; and a step great-grandmother, Mae Crawley of Danville.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bellevue Cemetery by at the Rev. Bobby Rawlings.
Visitation is noon Wednesday until time of service at Stith Funeral Home.

Jane P. Williams
Jane Price Williams, 89, of Ware Neck, Va., died Thursday at her home.
Born Feb. 6, 1911, in Danville, she was a daughter of Herbert and Vesta Lackey Price. She was a retired legal secretary and had been an employee of Danville attorney, the late Joe Davis. She attended Centre College and was a member of Ware Episcopal Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiques, and Colonel Dames of America Chapter 9. She also was a member of the Garden Club of Virginia, Friends of Glouchester Library, Danville Humane Society, Gloucester-Matthews Humane Society and North American Bluebird Society of Silver Springs, Md. She was the widow of James L. Williams.
Survivors include a stepson, Gerald L. Williams of Palatine, Ill.; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Donna W. Stiles.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Eric Mount. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Thursday.

Sue Ann O. Coleman
STANFORD -- Sue Anne Owens Coleman, 52, of Parsonsburg, Md., died Friday at her home after a fall.
Born Sept. 10, 1947, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of Geneva W. Owens of Stanford and late Paul P. Owens. She was a furniture sales representative, a graduate of Stanford High School and Eastern Kentucky University.
Other survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Gena Shea Coleman of Parsonsburg; a sister, Pauletta O. Hightower of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas; and a brother, Tommy H. Owens of Stanford.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. James C. Baughman. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.

Mary G. Murphy
LEXINGTON -- Mary Genevieve Murphy, 84, of Lexington died Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital.
Born in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late W.H. and Genevieve Johnson Townsend. She attended University of Kentucky and received her bachelor or arts degree from Vassar College. She was a member of South Elkhorn Christian Church and was the only woman to be given an honorary membership with the Kentucky Civil War Roundtable. She was a board member of the Kentucky Mansion Society, and the Historic McCormack Meetinghouse in Lincoln County. She was a member of the Sundial Garden Club, and a board member of the University of Kentucky Library.
Survivors include her husband, Joe H. Murphy Jr.; two sons, Joe H. Murphy III of Agoura, Calif., and Martin "Wally" Murphy of Harrodsburg and Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Lodie Lawson of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at W.R. Milward Mortuary-Broadway by the Revs. Gerald Shepard and Harold Dorsey. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery.

Helen M. Withers
VERSAILLES -- Helen Keene Markwell Withers, 51, of Versailles, former resident, died Sunday at Central Baptist Hospital.
Born April 21, 1949, in Woodford County, she was a daughter of Paul R. and Joan Markwell of Versailles and the late Dorsey Yeary Markwell. She was an employee of Kroger and a member of Versailles First Christian Church.
Other survivors include her husband, Vernon J. Withers of Perryville; a son, Jonathan Withers of Perryville; three sisters, Frances Lay, Robin Soard and Paula Carpenter, all of Versailles; a brother, Kerry Markwell of Lawrenceburg; grandmothers, Rebecca Yeary of Versailles and Katie Terrell of Colorado Springs, Colo.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Duell-Clark Funeral Chapel by the Revs. Don Vanzant and Mickey Hyder.

Services for Piccola Margaret Garr, 87, of Louisville, formerly of Danville, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at St. James AME Church by the Rev. Ronald Holmes. Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery.
She died Sunday in New Albany, Ind.
Born in Parksville, she was a member of St. James AME Church and a homemaker. She was the widow of Andrew Garr.

STANFORD -- Graveside services for Josephine Lawson, 83, of Rossville, Ga., formerly of Stanford, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Buffalo Springs Cemetery by the Rev. James W. Lawson Jr.
She died Monday in Rossville.
Born Sept. 18, 1916, in Crab Orchard, she was a daughter of the late William Chappell and Martha F. Broughton Chappell Martin. She was a homemaker, an employee of Highland Pharmacy and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Survivors include her husband, James Lawson; a daughter, Druetta Kemp of Rossville; a son, the Rev. James Lawson Jr. of Afton, Wyo.; three sisters, Margaret Taylor of Xenia, Ohio, Jewell Gaston of Gastonia, N.C., and Eunice Jones of Salvisa; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

John H. Poynter
LANCASTER -- Services for John H. Poynter Jr., 61, of Lancaster will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Revs. Paul Brasseaux and Roger Campbell. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18, American Legion.
He died Monday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
Born Aug. 20, 1938, in Boyle County, he was a son of John H. and Rosa Ellen Boyd Poynter. He was a maintenance supervisor with Allison Abrasives, a member of Lancaster Church of God and a Vietnam War veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Carol J. Adams Poynter; three sons, John H. Poynter III, James M. Poynter and Michael D. Poynter, all of Lancaster; a daughter, Laveta M. Marcum of Lancaster; two brothers, Robert M. Poynter and Gary W. Poynter, both of Lancaster; three sisters, Kathleen "Kack" Lamb and Mary Ellen Rhodus, both of Lancaster, and Carolyn Scott of Corbin; and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tim Poynter, Vernon "Pee Wee" Lamb, Mickey Rhodus, Shannon Poynter, Bryant Padgett and Robbie Naylor.

Louise Hughes Cocanougher, 86, of Maple Avenue died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 10, 1913, in Boyle County, she was a daughter of the late Thompson and Argine Gibson Hughes. She was the widow of H.M. "Bill" Cocanougher. She was a retired assistant chief operator for South Central Bell Telephone Co. and a member of First Baptist Church, Broadway.
Survivors include her sister, Elizabeth Caldwell of Danville.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Revs. Albert Gisler and Dan McGibbon. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James, John, Bill and Lori Erwin, and Kevin and Stephen Withers. Honorary pallbearers are Kelly, Bob, Denny, John and Jimmie Cocanougher.

LIBERTY -- Margaret Holder, 75, of Whipp Avenue died Sunday at Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 20, 1924, in Nicholasville, she was a daughter of the late Preston and Blanche Canter Peel. She was a retired teacher, a member of Mount Olive Homemakers and the widow of Lee W. Holder.
Survivors include a brother, Burch Peel of Nicholasville; three sisters, Doris Hurst of Nicholasville, Edna Underwood of Louisville and Rose Hacker of Clearwater, Fla.
