Mr. Bobby Joe Beard, Sr., the son of Catherine Curry Beard of Greensburg and the late Opal Beard, was born Wednesday, November 18, 1942 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 in Green County at his residence. He was 61 years, 4 months and 13 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liletown United Methodist Church. He was an employee of Campbellsville Industries and was a farmer.
He united in marriage on July 15, 1961 to Rebecca Jean London, who survives.
Also surviving is a daughter and son-in-law: Debbie and Bendal Bagby; two sons and daughters-in-law: Bobby Joe Jr and Lynn Beard and Billy Joe and Tina Beard all of Green County; a sister and brother-in-law: Carol and Jerry Lawler of Green County; six grandchildren: Brandon Bagby, Brianne Bagby, Candice Beard, Kelsea Beard, Catlin Beard, and Clayton Beard, all of Green County.
The funeral services for Mr. Bobby Joe Beard, Sr., will be conducted Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Curry Family Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Crump will be officiating.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Central KY or the donation of Gideon Bibles, these can be made at the funeral home.

Lorene M. Ray, age 63 of Greensburg, died Wednesday in Louisville at the Jewish Hospital.
Survivors include her husband: Dee Ray of Greensburg.
3 sons: Michael Dee Ray and his wife Peggy Sue, David Allen Ray, Loyd Ray and his wife Sheila all of Greensburg.
4 daughters: Debra Ray Smith, Tina Meece and her husband Mark all of Campbellsville, Betty Curry and her husband Tommy, Brenda Rose and her husband William all of Greensburg.
2 half-sisters: Mable Perkins and Liz Wethington both of Campbellsville, 1 half-brother: Weldon Shreve of Campbellsville; a step-sister: Mary Elizabeth Miller of Florida; a step-brother: Kenneth Shreve of Campbellsville.
8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 6 step-grandchildren 6 step-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Janice Arlene Wanamaker
Mrs. Janice Arlene Wanamaker, the daughter of Olga Cranton Boudreau and the late Webster Boudreau, was born January 26, 1943 in Sommerville, Massachusetts, and departed this life on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at her home in the Crail Hope Community of Green County. She was 61 years of age.
She was a well known breeder of Collie and Keeshond dogs.
She united in marriage to George Wanamaker, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters: Debra Cobb of New Hampshire and Donna Bourke of Georgia; four sons: William Wanamaker, Edward wanamaker, Kenneth McKiernan and Gary Wanamaker all of New Hampshire; a sister: Sharon Casale of Massachusetts; a brother: Paul Boudreau of New Hampshire; 17 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
The body of Janice Arlene Wanamaker was cremated, there will be no local service or visitation.
Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Doris Lorene Gentry Judd, age 76 of Green County, passed away on Monday in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital.
She is survived by her husband: Owen “Chicken Little” Judd of Green County.
Also surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law: Linda and Frank Wheatley of Buffalo, Mary Frances Thompson, Vicky and Rev. Leslie Jewell all of Greensburg.
5 sons and four daughters-in-law: Ronnie and Becky Judd, Donald Gene and Fredia Judd, Tony and Bessie Judd, Darrell Judd, Timmy and Daphne Judd all of Greensburg.
A sister: Ruby Keith of Campbellsville.
A brother: Gerthie Gentry of Greensburg.
18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Michael Scott Hoppis of Greensburg, son of the late Troy Carl Hoppis and Estella Elizabeth Strong Hoppis, was born on Tuesday, December 1, 1959 in Maricopa County, Arizona, and departed this life on Sunday, July 9, 2006 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville. He was 46 years, 7 months and 8 days of age.
He served in the United States Navy from 1978 until December 13, 1985.
Survivors include three daughters: Elizabeth Ellen Hoppis of Kansas City, Missouri, Adrianna Estella Hoppis of Campbellsville and Amber Rochelle Hoppis of Greensburg; two sisters: Patricia Wiggins of Tennessee and Rita Hoppis of Arkansas; a brother: James Hoppis of Tennessee; a half sister: Linda Jo Goldstein of Canada; aunt & uncle: Keith and Elizabeth Jerrell of Arkansas; 3 special friends: Shaunna Melson, Ashley Bybee and Lynn Davis all of Greensburg.
There will be a graveside funeral service at 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 15, 2006 at the Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family fund to help with funeral expenses.

Mr. Charles Rutherford Hatton
Mr. Charles Rutherford Hatton of Louisville, son of the late Harold E. Hatton and Cornelia Blake Hatton, was born on Thursday, April 29, 1915 in Baltimore, Maryland and departed this life on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at the Jefferson Manor Nursing Home in Louisville. He was 91 years, 2 months and 6 days of age.
He was the founder and managing partner of the old Charles R. Hatton & Company CPA’s and retired partner of Hatton, Todvine & Company CPA’s. He served his profession as president of Kentucky Society of CPA’s, president of the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy and commissioned as a board member of the State Board of Accountancy for seven years. Mr. Hatton served on the Executive Committee of Southern States Conference of CPA’s and was elected as Director-at-Large of the National Association of State Boards. He was a former president of Wildwood Country Club, a World War II veteran having served in the United States Army, a member of Crescent Hill Masonic Lodge and various civic and business organizations and had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Christ Church United Methodist.
He united in marriage to the former Ruth Landis on July 30, 1955 who survives.
Other survivors include several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law: Elois L. Landrum of Greensburg, Delia L. Paxton and her husband Walker of Greensburg, Doris L. Skaggs of Louisville and Norma Jean Pearce and her husband Philip of Prospect and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Mr. Charles Rutherford Hatton will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 10, 2006 at the Summershade United Methodist Church with burial in the Summershade Cemetery. Rev. Dwight Forderhase will be officiating.

Mrs. Delcia Mae Burris Wright of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Allen Burris and Annie Mae Slinker Burris, was born on Thursday, October 29, 1931 in Green County and departed this life on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville, Kentucky. She was 74 years, 8 months and 5 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She united in marriage to Homer Shively Wright on April 2, 1955 who survives.
Other survivors include a daughter: Carol Mitchell of Greensburg; a son: Eddie Wright of Louisville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral services for Mrs. Delcia Mae Burris Wright will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 8, 2006 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Tarter's Chapel Cemetery in Adair County. Bro. Shawn Cadell and Bro. Jim Durham will be officiating.
