Mrs. Eleanor Carlson Gorin Skaff of Greensburg, daughter of the late John Nicolas Carlson and Elin Amanda Olson Carlson, was born on Saturday, March 6, 1915 in Gilbert, Minnesota and departed this life on Friday, October 6, 2006 at the University of Louisville Hospital. She was 91 years and 7 months of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Gilbert, Minnesota Presbyterian Church, the Greensburg Presbyterian Church and attended the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She attended Virginia Junior College, University of Minnesota and received her Masters Degree in Public Service from Western Kentucky University. She worked with the Y.W.C.A and the Pillsbury Settlement in Minneapolis, the Neighborhood House in Louisville, State and Federal Government Agencies and the Greeensburg Record-Herald. She was a member of the Greensburg Art Club, the Saturday Morning Breakfast Club and an active volunteer of numerous organizations.
She was united in marriage to Jameson Dearen Gorin on August 16, 1941 and he preceded her in death on October 25, 1963. She then united in marriage to Alfred Paul Skaff on September 22, 1973 and he also preceded her in death on May 3, 1978.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Walt and Anne Gorin of Greensburg; two granddaughters: Anne Michelle Gorin of Louisville and Jill Carlson Gorin of Nashville, Tennessee; three brothers: Clint Carlson of International Falls, Minnesota, Walt Carlson of St. Paul, Minnesota and Myron Carlson of Nashwauk, Minnesota; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mrs. Skaff was also preceded in death by two brothers: Arlin Carlson and Dean Carlson.
The funeral services for Mrs. Eleanor Carlson Gorin Skaff will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 9, 2006 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Freddie Norris and Bro. Kevin Brantley will be officiating.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church or the Greensburg Presbyterian Church, which can be made at the funeral home.

Mr. Rollin Rudolph Davenport, son of the late James Chapman and Osley Moran Davenport, was born on Thursday, December 18, 1919 in Green County and departed this life on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He was 86 years, 9 months and 20 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Greensburg Baptist Church. He was a former laborer for Clark Casual, a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army and a member of the Rod Lowe Post 124.
He united in marriage to Martha Peggy Elizabeth Judd Davenport on October 13, 1945 and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2002.
Survivors include two sons: Bobby Joe Davenport and his wife Marti of Mt. Washington and Ricky Davenport of Bardstown; a daughter: Patricia Davenport of Greensburg; two grandsons: James Davenport of Mt. Washington and Barry Davenport and his wife Susan of Bardstown; three great-grandchildren: Kayla Sparks of Summersville, Jordan Pinkston of Bardstown and Katerin Davenport of Shepherdsville; a sister: Geraldine Hamilton of Campbellsville, a brother: Mitchell Davenport of Illinois and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Davenport Cemetery, which can be made at the funeral home.

The funeral services for Master Braiden Lukas Meadows will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Lillie Francis Kessler, age 92 of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday in Greensburg.

Ruby Agnes Walker Beams, daughter of the late William Homer Walker and Vivian Elozia Heizer Walker, was born on Monday, March 27, 1933 in Green County and departed this life on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the Medco Center in Campbellsville, Kentucky. She was 73 years, 6 months and 18 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church and was a homemaker and mother.
She united in marriage to Winford Lewis Beams on December 29, 1951 who survives.
Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Brenda and Shelton Davis of Greensburg; three sons: Harold Beams, William Beams and Randall Beams all of Greensburg; six grandchildren: Bryan Scott Montgomery, Timothy Daniel Montgomery and Tiffany Beams all of Greensburg; Samuel Dalton Beams of Campbellsville, Nathaniel Austin Beams and Tristin Lee Beams both of Greensburg; a sister: Carolyn Jane Kidd of Magnolia; five great-grandchildren; a niece, several nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Amos D. “A.D.” Judd of Louisville formerly of Greensburg, son of the late Ben Tom Judd and Troy Palace Davis Perkins, was born on Monday, January 4, 1932 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was 74 years, 9 months and 14 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a Supervisor for General Electric having retired after 35 years. He was a member of the Kosair Shrine Temple, Past Master Phillip Swigert Lodge 218 F&AM; of Fisherville and a member of Eastern Star of Louisville # 391.
He united in marriage to Reva Rebecca Tucker on March 26, 1949 who survives.
Other survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Larry A. and Nancy Judd, Lonnie T. and Sherri Judd, and Bennie R. and Diane Judd all of Louisville; five grandchildren: Nick Judd of Louisville, April Teeter of Indiana, Regan Judd, David Judd and Shelby Judd all of Louisville; three step-grandchildren: Christie Mudd, Steve Collins and Misty Ward all of Louisville; one great-granddaughter: Emily Teeter of Indiana; three sisters: Olga Ennis of Louisville, Eugenia Simpson of Green County, and Agnes Hamlin of Florida; a half-sister: Iley Judd of Campbellsville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
