Dan Eubank

FLA. - Dan Eubank, 58, of Key Largo, died on Oct. 29, 2007. He was a 20-year resident corning from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He was an avid fisherman and boater. He owned Eubanks Painting and he painted homes from Ocean Reef to Marathon enough to support his fishing excursions. Dan is survived by his mother Patricia Caudill Eubank of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., his four children Monique (Dustin) Kelly and Sunshine (Jeremy) Allen, both of Spokane, Wash., Joshua Eubank of Tavernier, Bridgett Eubank of Chicago, Ill. and five grandchildren: Bella, Skyler, Myles, Noah and Aiden. Dan has two sisters, Margie (Blair) Jordan of The Woodlands, Texas and Claire Eubank of Logan, Ohio, and two brothers, Richard Eubank of Boynton Beach, Fla. and Chris Charles (Bella) Eubank of Haiku, Hawaii. Dan will be missed by the local boating world. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 3:00 p.m.

Timothy Scott Riggs
1979-2007

MOREHEAD - Timothy Scott Riggs, age 28, of Ravenswood Road, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 29, 2007, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 5, 1979, in Rowan County, Kentucky, son of Penny Sue Bradford Riggs Kenley of Morehead, Kentucky, and John David Riggs of Owingsville, Kentucky.

Other survivors include his fiancée, Randi Danielle Wallace; two brothers, Jonathan David Riggs of Owingsville, Kentucky, and Steven Lee Kenley of Morehead, Kentucky; two step-brothers, Mike Jude of Owingsville, Kentucky, and Brandon Layne of Marysville, Tennessee; and maternal grandfather, Ellis Bradford of Morehead, Kentucky.

Timothy was a self-employed landscaper.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Greg Guy and Thomas Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in the Polksville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Clinger, Jamie Clay, Evans Lane, Travis Sorrell, Nick Sorrell, Michael Jude, and Seth Clay.

Delores Knabe Cooper
1932-2007

MOREHEAD - Delores Knabe Cooper, age 75, of Clearfork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 26, 2007, at her residence. She was born July 26, 1932, at Fairfax, Ohio, to the late Earl and Nannie Kayes Knabe. Besides her parents, one son, Charlie Ray Cooper, preceded her in death on January 16, 2002; and three brothers, Earl, Hank, and Ted Knabe.

She is survived by her husband, Andy Morgan Cooper; one son, Andy Lee Cooper and wife Mindy of Morehead, Kentucky; three sisters, Penny Boettcher and Jean Lamb both of Palm Coast, Florida, and Marilyn Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Shawn Taylor, Teresa Cooper, Matthew Cooper, and Christian Cooper; and three great-grandchildren, Seth Taylor, Zachery Taylor, and Karli Baldridge.

Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and a member of the Bible Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted 1 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2007, at Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jack Tackett and the Rev. Elijah Tackett officiating; burial was in the Stigall Cemetery. Pallbearers were Matthew Cooper, Seth Taylor, Doc Caudill, Nick Caudill, Jimmy Thacker, and Jeff Caudill.

Visitation was Sunday, October 28, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.

Minnie Geraldine ‘Jerry’ Riddell Atherton, 86
Minnie Geraldine “Jerry” Riddell Atherton, 86, of Hodgenville, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church in Hodgenville and retired from the Kroger deli after 30 years of service.
She was born Oct. 30, 1924 in Lexington the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Susan Haggard Riddell.

Bennie Devore, 62
Bennie Devore, 62, of Buffalo, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011, at his residence.
He was a member of Ovesen Heights Baptist Church, an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from civil service at Ft. Knox after 29 years of service.

Bessie Williams, 93
Bessie Williams, 93, of Upton, formerly of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, May 12, 2011.
She is survived by six sons, Raymond Williams, Gene Williams, Curtis Williams, Ray Williams, the Rev. Lewis Williams and Ordell Williams; and six daughters, Minnie Williams, Daisy Williams, Mary Woods, Anna Johnson, Joyce Ann Robinson and Faye Pettigrew.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Mount Union Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Joel Elonzo Perez, infant
Joel Elonzo Perez, infant son of Jamie Merlena Toler and Juan Carlos Perez, died May 13, 2011.
Services will be private.
Dixon-Atwood & Trowbridge Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Louise Finn Hawkins, 63
Louise Finn Hawkins, 63, of Hodgenville, died May 13, 2011.
She is survived by three sons, Jesse William Hawkins Jr., Timmy Hawkins and Patrick Hawkins.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. May 14 and 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. May 15 at Rust-Wright Funeral Home.
The funeral is 2 p.m. May 15 at Corinth Baptist Church. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery.
Rust-Wright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Otis Hornback, 71
Otis Hornback, 71, of Paducah, formerly of LaRue County, died May 9, 2011.
He is survived by a daughter, Laura Erwin; a son, Philip Hornback; three sisters; and three brothers.
Graveside memorial services will be 2 p.m. May 16 at South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville is in charge of the arrangements.

Maria Bolton, 63
Maria Bolton, 63, of Upton, died May 10, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 26, 1947, in West Germany and moved to London at age 8. She worked as a translator/English teacher for the U.S. Army for six years.
She was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Mierek and Maria Vitalli, who raised her.

Robert Lee Hornback, 64
Robert Lee Hornback, 64, of Upton, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at his residence.
He was a member of Fallen Springs Missionary Baptist Church and a self-employed mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Annie Jewel Grissom Hornback; a brother, Jack Hornback; a stepson, Ray Riggs; and a nephew, Jackie Ray Hornback.

Virginia ‘Jennie Lou’ Davis, 68
Virginia “Jennie Lou” Davis, 68, of Hart County, departed this life, Monday, April 25, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Cassie Walters Gaddie.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired cafeteria manager for the Green County School System and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She united in marriage to Leon Randal Davis, May 14, 1966 who survives.

Gueldine Elmore King, 70
Gueldine Elmore King, 70, of Elizabethtown, died May 4, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Bennie K. King; and a daughter, Veronica Cole.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. May 7, 2011 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville. Burial will follow in Valley Creek Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m., Friday and after 9 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
