Georgia Nell Rowe, 76
Georgia Nell Rowe, 76, of Smiths Grove, died Feb. 3, 2005, at the home of her son in Buffalo.
She was an employee of Diamond Caverns in Park City and a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church in Hart County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Garvin Rowe; her parents, Damon and Ruth McFelia Weller; and two brothers, Dale Weller and Donald B. Weller.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Kelly of Smiths Grove; three sons, Danny Rowe of Smiths Grove, Kerry Rowe of Hodgenville and Kevin Rowe of Buffalo; two grandchildren, Amber Rowe and Dylan Rowe; a sister, Lucille Richardson of Florida; and two brothers, David Weller of Vermont and Charles Weller of Florida.
Graveside services will be held Feb. 6, at 4 p.m. at Buffalo Cemetery with the Rev. Gerald Gardner officiating. There will be no visitation.

Mobley Sidebottom, 86
Mobley Sidebottom, 86, of Hodgenville, was born Jan. 30, 1919 in LaRue County and died Feb. 2, 2005, at Helmwood Healthcare Center in Elizabethtown.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hodgenville, owner and operator of Sidebottom and Son Masonry, and an Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Sidebottom; his parents, Arvil and Gertie Sidebottom; and three brothers, Russell Sidebottom, Elmer Sidebottom and Jesse Sidebottom.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Mae Rice Sidebottom; a sister, Rachel (J.D.) Skaggs of Hodgenville; a granddaughter, Heather Leigh (Rick) Jones of Florida; three great-grandchildren, Bradley Dyson, Brandon Dyson and Katie Fouquet, all of Florida; nine nieces and nephews; including a special nephew, Stevie Skaggs of Hodgenville; a special niece, Diane Osborne of Elizabethtown; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Feb. 6, at 2 p.m. at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Revs. Louis Humes and George Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation will be Feb. 5, from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert W. Brown, Jr., 51, of Hodgenville, died March 10, 2005, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by a son, James Lewis Thompson of Elizabethtown.
A memorial service was held March 13, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Priddy officiating.
Robert ‘Bobby’ Burba, 72
Robert “Bobby” Burba, 72, of Hodgenville, died March 12, 2005, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
He was a native of Nelson County, retired from Polly and Trent Construction Company in Bardstown and was a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Alena Donahue Burba.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Burba; three daughters, Wanda Chesser of New Haven, Marlene Cross and Gail Bowling, both of Bardstown; two sons, Mike Burba of Bardstown and Bobby Joe Burba of New Haven; three stepsons, Ronnie Marrs and Roger Marrs, both of Lexington, and Kenny Benningfield of Hodgenville; four sisters, Louise Gootee of Lexington, Lorraine Clark of Louisville, Agnes Mattingly of New Haven and Rita Lamkin of Tennessee; five brothers, Walter Burba, Phillip Burba, J.C. Burba and Ronnie Burba, all of New Haven, and Leroy Burba of Shepherdsville; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held March 15, at 11 a.m. at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Father Jim Mudd officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation will begin after 2 p.m., March 14, at the funeral home with a prayer service to begin at 6 p.m.
Charles Omar Dutschke, 100
Charles Omar Dutschke, 100, of Iola, Texas, formerly of Louisville, died March 9, 2005, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan, Texas.
The native of Hardin County was a member of Gateway Community United Methodist Church, formerly known as Beechmont United Methodist Church in Louisville, and was retired from the United States Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Kate Pullin Dutschke; a grandson, Darrell Len Dutschke; three sisters; and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys F. Dunn Dutschke; a son, Lennis Dutschke of Iola, Texas; a sister, Lorraine Farr of Florida; three grandchildren, James Everett Dutschke, Shannon Lynn Dutschke and Charles Len Dutschke; and two great-grandchildren, Cameron Parker Dutschke and Taylor Nicole Dutschke.
Funeral services will be held March 12, at 11 a.m. at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Roger Dill officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation will begin March 11, after 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Harlan Ford, 75
Harlan Ford, 75, of Louisville, died February 2005.
He was a LaRue County native; a retired auto body man for Bill Collins Ford; a member of Robinson-Masonic Lodge #266, F. & A.M., a Shriner - Scottish Rite, Kosair Shriners and Bullitt County Shrine Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a Baptist.
He is survived by a son, Mark (Kathy) Ford; a sister, Geneva Ford Gardner of Hodgenville; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held March 12, at 2 p.m. at Billy Howell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Talley officiating. Burial will follow in Hammondsville Cemetery near Magnolia.
Visitation will be held March 11, from 4-8 p.m. and on March 12, after 11 a.m.

Mayme Hash
Mayme Hash, of Buffalo, died March 9, 2005, in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to McKinley Hash on May 23, 1925. He preceded her in death July 23, 1973.
She is survived by five daughters and their spouses; Nina and Phil Stiles of Tempe, Ariz., Mina and Charles Hedgepeth of Campbellsville, Billie and James Salsman and Shirley and Eugene Underwood of Hodgenville, Louise and Fred Krznarich of Buffalo; and two sons and their spouses, William Grant and Libby Hash of Niceville, Fla., and Gowdy and Vienise Hash of Buffalo.
Funeral services will be conducted March 12, at 11 a.m. at+ Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Anna Lee Hughes, 88, of Magnolia, died March 9, 2005, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.
She was a member of South Fork Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Akridge of Shepherdsville; and two grandsons.

Donald Lewis Basham, 54, of Vine Grove, died Oct. 23, 2005, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Basham.
Funeral services will be held Oct. 28, at Gloryland Harvest Church in Radcliff. Burial will follow in North Hardin Memorial Gardens.
