George Parrish
Services for George Parrish, 78, of Man-O-War Drive will be at McFarland Lutheran Church at 4 p.m. Tuesday in McFarland, Wis. There will be no visitation.
He died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 11, 1921, in Princeton, Iowa, he was son of late Barney Abraham and Jesse Mae Louder Parrish. He was a master plumber, an instructor at Madison Area Technical College and a local plumbing inspector. He served as president of the McFarland Lutheran Church council and was also president of the McFarland Lutheran Men's Brotherhood.
He was a Cub Scout pack leader, youth basketball coach and a Sunday School teacher. He was also a Golden Gloves boxer and World War II veteran.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Parrish of Fargo, N.D., and Robert Parrish of Eau Clair, Wis.; a daughter, Marilyn Peterson of Danville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Stith Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Clyde B. Abbott
Clyde Bailey Abbott, 79, of Lancaster Road, a Boyle County horseman, died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Abbott was charter member and a board member of the Kentucky Walking Horse Association, and Kentucky Walking Horse Trainers Association. He was an accredited walking horse judge and was an owner and trainer of walking horses for 30 years.
Born Dec. 14, 1920, in Boyle County, he was a son of the late Floyd and Minnie Gwinn Abbott. He also was a retired railroad engineer and was a member of Junction City Baptist Church. He was the widower of Charlotte Reed Abbott.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Carol Milburn of Henderson; a companion, Betty Sims of Danville; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Stith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Saturday.

Beulah Hayes
McKEE -- Beulah "Boots" Hays, of Harrodsburg, 75, died Wednesday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born May 6, 1925, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late Robert M. and Sarah E. Bales Simpson. She was the widow of Lee Hayes.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Hayes of McKee and Allen Hayes of South Carolina; two daughters, Sheila Hensley of Harrodsburg and Becky Thomas of Richmond; a brother, Irvine Simpson of Richmond; four sisters, Beatrice Farmer of Redding, Ohio, Virgie McCann of Ohio, Audrey Clark of Tyner and Janie Byrd of Alexandria; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Graveside services were today at Wright Cemetery in Tyner.

Born April 27, 1902, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph M. and Elena Ryan Wall. She was a retired bookkeeper and sales clerk, a member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church in Cincinnati. She was the widow of Nobert J. Litchfield. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alta Mae Litchfield Randolph.
Survivors include a sister, Estelle W. Pruitt of Danville; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

LIBERTY -- Anna Mae Price, 93, of Middleburg Street died Thursday at Liberty Care Center.
Born May 15, 1907, in Ellisburg, she was a daughter of Joel and Ollie Ellis Peyton. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She was the widow of John F. Price.
Survivors include two sons, John E. "Jack" Price and Donald Price, both of Liberty; a daughter, Nancy Wesley of Smyrna, Ga.; a sister, Ethel Kelley of Barberton, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- Richard Rose, 49, of Noblesville died Wednesday at his home.
Born in Indianapolis, he was s son of Virgil B. and LaVerne McDaniel Rose. He was an employee of Noblesville Casting for 29 years.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Rose; a daughter, Felicia Swecker of Noblesville; a son, Richard Rose II of Noblesville; a sister, Beverly Griffith of Noblesville; a brother, Virgil T. Rose of Noblesville; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheri Rose.

Reva "Mu" Coulter, 95, of Grafton Street, Junction City, died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born April 2, 1905, in Spencer County, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Mary Sue Lake Satterly. She was a homemaker, a member of Junction City Christian Church and the widow of Thomas Pruitt Coulter.
Survivors include eight sons, Thomas Coulter of Nashville Tenn., Gary Coulter of Groton, Conn., David Coulter of Peabody, Mass., Glen Coulter of Junction City, and Sidney, William, Donald and Steve Coulter, all of Moreland; four daughters, Anna Margaret Curtis of Danville and Shirley Coulter of Moreland, and Doris Stafford and Wilma Adams, both of Indianapolis; two brothers, Ralph Satterly of Lancaster and Stanley Satterly of Louisville; 32 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Harold E. Coulter; and a daughter, Gearldine Coulter.

STANFORD -- Edward R. VonLinger, 87, of Whitley Avenue died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 17, 1912, in Russell Springs, he was a son of the late James and Caroline Black VonLinger. He was a retired truck driver and farmer, and a member of Stanford Baptist Church. He was the widower of Pina Mae VonLinger.
Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Martin and Flora M. Barrett, both of Stanford; three sisters, Lola Hepley of Burgin, Louise Walls of Danville and Parlee Tillett of Crab Orchard; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Dailey.
