Earl David Voltz Sr., 72, of Elizabethtown, died June 24, 2008.
He is survived by four daughters; and three sons.
Funeral services were held June 27 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville. Burial followed in White Mills Cemetery.
James Dwayne Shofner, 44
James Dwayne Shofner, 44, of Buffalo, passed away Aug. 2, 2008, at his residence.
He was a 1982 graduate of LaRue County High School and a master electrician. He was employed with Dana Corporation. He was a member and trustee of New Bethlehem Church.
He was a loving son, father, brother and grandpaw.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Cloyd Shofner; his grandfather, Bradley Underwood; grandparents, Homer and Bessy Shofner; and an uncle, Cecil Underwood.
Survivors include his mother, Velda Underwood Stevenson (Howard); two daughters, Candace Tims (Dan) of Campbellsville, and Jessica Shofner of Buffalo; a sister, Vinessa Johnson (Jeff) of Hodgenville; two grandchildren, Paige and Dalton Tims; two nephews, Dr. Joshua Johnson (Kelly) and Justin Johnson (Melissa); grandmother, Jessie Underwood of Campbellsville; several aunts and uncles; very special friends, Sandra Shofner and Wanda Buck; and a host of friends.
The funeral was Tuesday at Billy Howell Funeral Chapel in Hodgenville with Bro. Cleve Allen officiating. Burial followed at Bethel Church Cemetery.
Joseph Donald Masterson, 62
Joseph Donald Masterson, 62, of Hodgenville, died Aug. 2, 2008, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, a son, mother, two daughters, six sisters, seven brothers, three stepsons and several grandchildren.
The funeral is today at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in New Hope. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Gilbert Walton Kennedy, 84
Gilbert Walton Kennedy, 84, of New Haven, died Aug. 2, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
He is a LaRue County native, a farmer, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, served as a LaRue County Deputy Sheriff, 1966-1970, and was a member of Rolling Fork Christian Church at Lyons Station.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Clay and Alemeda Barnes Kennedy; his wife, Inez Crady Kennedy; two sisters, Lena Bowles and Iva Devers; three brothers, Marion Kennedy, Leo Kennedy and Roy Kennedy.
He is survived by five daughters, Geraldine Kennedy, Wanda Kennedy, Patricia “Patty” Hanneken, all of New Haven, Susan Locklin and Audrey Aulbach, both of Elizabethtown; three sons, Jewell Kennedy, Roger Kennedy and Melvin Kennedy, all of New Haven; one brother, Allen Kennedy of New Haven; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Tuesday at Rolling Fork Christian Church in Lyons Station with Bro. Tim Underhill officiating. Burial was in Edlin Creek Cemetery on highway 583 in LaRue County.

Roberta J. Jones, 81
Roberta J. Jones, 81, of Coral Springs, Fla.
Roberta was a native of LaRue County, graduating from Buffalo High School in 1944.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Lettie (Harp) Jones; a sister, Mildred (Junior) Omer; a brother, Earl Jones; and a nephew John F. Jones, all of Hodgenville.
Roberta is survived by her husband, Asa W. Jones; a daughter Patricia Skelton; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren, all residing in Coral Springs, Fla.; and a sister, Lucille (Hobart) Hines of Elizabethtown.
Services and burial were held Aug. 1, at Forest Lawn Memorial gardens in Pompano Beach, Fla.

Charles Isbel Turner, 82, of Louisville, formerly of Magnolia, died Aug. 14, 2008.
He is survived by a daughter, Angela (Clayton) Meadors; and a son, C.H. (Terri) Turner.
The funeral was Aug. 16 at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mary Louis Graham Bryant of Hodgenville
Mary Louis Graham Bryant, age 91 years, of Hodgenville, passed away, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at her residence.
She was a member of Ovesen Hgts. Baptist Church, and a retired nurse's aide at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Ford Graham and Virgil Leon Bryant, her parents, Ira Milton and Hattie Hudgins Akridge, a daughter-in-law, Lisa Pendleton Graham, and two sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty (Larry) Marcum of Louisville and Rita (Richard) Bales of Hodgenville, two sons, Rual Kenneth "R.K" (Luanne) Graham of Hodgenville and Clinton "Boone" (Laura Clark) Graham of Buffalo, a step-daughter, Sarah (Jim) Keener of Indiana, five grandsons, Greg (Meagan) Marcum, Brandon (Alicia) Bales, Nathan (Amanda) Bales, Anthony (Kaitlin) Huff and Michael Huff, and four great-grandchildren, Bear Bales, Ella Grace Bales, Tate Elijah Bales, and Shelby Anne Bales.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Gerald Murphy and Rev. Mike Akridge officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1-8 PM Thursday, and after 9 AM Friday at the funeral home.
Kathryn "Katie" Chaudoin of Hodgenville
Kathryn "Katie" Chaudoin, age 102, of Hodgenville, passed away, Friday, December 5, 2014, at her residence.
She served as a registered nurse in the U S Army during WWII achieving the rank of Second Lieutenant and was a member the First Baptist Church in Hodgenville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. "Billy" Chaudoin in 1989, and a dear friend, Marilyn Read.
She is survived by nieces, Kathy (Mike) Williamson, Carol (Ray) Routt all of Hodgenville; a nephew, Billy (Patty) Chaudoin of Buffalo; and all their families; a dear friend, Charles Read; other nieces and nephews, Ronald Wertz, Christine McConnell, Judy Berg, Kathy Bugbee, Rick Wertz and their families; her special girls, Missy Dunn and Marilyn Moir; her extended family were all her neighbors on Gettysburg Drive.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Rev. Rodney Troutman officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM Monday, and after 9 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Helen Lucille Clark of Hodgenville
Helen Lucille Clark, 102 years of age, of Hodgenville, passed away, Friday, December 12, 2014, at her residence.
She was a member of Wesley Meadows United Methodist Church, a farmer, homemaker, and an accomplished quiltmaker. Helen had a vast collection of redbirds, and she loved tending to her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Clark, her father and mother, Smith George Bayne and Calla Goff Bayne Shelton, her step-father, Clifton Shelton, a granddaughter, Shelia Whitlock, a grandson, Steve Potts, two sons-in-law, Stanley Viers and Jack Jones, six sisters, and one brother.
She is survived by four daughters, Geneva Viers, Doris Jones, and Betty (Herman) Allen all of Hodgenville, and Zelma (Davis) Potts of Woodlawn, TN, a son, LeRoy (Bonni) Clark of Hodgenville, a brother-in-law, Edgar Bell of Hodgenville, eleven grandchildren, Dennis and Carl Viers, Kathy Cooper, Danny, Clark and J.P. Potts, Melinda Ross, Larry Jones, Cindy Ford, Troy Allen and Doug Clark; several great and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, December 15, 2014, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Andrew Singh, Rev. Wallace Votaw and Rev. Danny Potts officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 8 PM, Sunday and after 10 AM, Monday at the funeral home.

Wayne Enlow, age 75, of Hodgenville, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
