Clarence Floyd Warren, age 98, of Hodgenville, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
Arrangements are pending at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville and will be announced Monday after 1 PM.
C. Floyd Warren of Hodgenville
C. Floyd Warren, age 98, of Hodgenville, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
He was the oldest member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and an Army Veteran of WWII. He retired from Civil Service at Ft. Knox and was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Shoffner Warren; his parents, Richard A. and Lucy Thompson Warren; three sisters, Elva Allen, Nellie Bennett and Dora Warren and two brothers, Glenn Warren and Vernon Warren.
He is survived by a daughter, Janis (Jimmy) Rogers of Hodgenville; a son, Harold Wayne (Bobbi) Warren of Hodgenville; two sisters, Maxine French of Hodgenville and Doneda Pepe of Arizonia; six grandchildren, Chris Rogers, Todd Rogers, Cari Self, Tiffany Snodgrass, Matthew Warren and Sara Beth Warren and nine great-grandchildren, Shelby and Kylie Rogers, Bailey and Clay Rogers, Preston and Parker Self and Skylar, Kendall, and Colton Snodgrass.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Pepper officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM, Tuesday and after 10 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
Zelma Hawkins Hazle of Hodgenville
Zelma Hawkins Hazle, age 89 years, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
She was a member of the Barren Run Baptist Church, full time homemaker, former aide and messenger at Hardin Memorial Hospital after 10 years of service, former pianist at Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church in her youth, and then at Barren Run Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Thomas "W.T." Hazle, a son, Daniel Hazle, a son-in-law, Ronnie Ward, a granddaughter, Jessica Hazle, her parents, Henry Wilburn and Annie Catlett Hawkins, a sister, Rosie Mae McCubbin, and three brothers, Marvin Hawkins, William Nathan Hawkins, and Herbert Hawkins.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Hazle (Bobby Akers) Ward of Hodgenville, two sons, Darrell (Donna) Hazle of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Terry (Paula) Hazle of Huntsville, Alabama, her twin-sister, Thelma Webb of Magnolia, six grandchildren, Wendy (Jason) Jones, Angie (Bryan) Dick, Scott (Tabitha) Ward, Travis (Stephanie) Ward, B.J. (Laura) Ward, and Chris Thurman, twelve great-grandchildren, Jake Jones, Will Jones, Hudson Dick, Brady Dick, Brittany Wallace, Dusty Ward, Seth Ward, Hattie Ward, Laura Beth Ward, Shelby Lynn Ward, Layla Ward, and Clay Ward, and two great-great-grandchildren, Karver Meier and Sage Wallace.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Craig Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 PM Tuesday, and after 9 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Otis C. "Odie" Nunn of Magnolia
Otis C. "Odie" Nunn, age 87 years, of Magnolia, passed away, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center in Louisville.
He was a farmer, and an Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Henry and Ida Mae Ford Nunn, two sisters, and six brothers.
He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Highbaugh of Buffalo, a son, Michael (Charlotte) Nunn of Monroe, three grandchildren, Daniel (Brianna) Highbaugh, Amber Highbaugh, and James Lee (Tina) Nunn, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery-Central in Radcliff with Pastor Donald Kennedy officiating.

James Edwin "Ed" Weller of Hodgenville
James Edwin "Ed" Weller, age 98, of Hodgenville, passed away, Thursday, February 5, 2015, at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
He was the owner and operator of Hillcrest Dairy and Weller Earth Moving, where he was instrumental in construction of Ring Road in Elizabethtown and the Campbellsville University Baseball Park. He was a Christian and member of First Baptist Church in Hodgenville, and the salutatorian of the Boston High School Class of 1934.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Thomas Weller, his parents, Franklin and Rena Mae Washer Weller, a sister, Virginia Hornback, and three brothers, Logan Weller, William G. Weller, and Floyd Weller.
He is survived by Arnie and Susan Lambert of Hodgenville, whom he considered his children, Dylan and Conner Lambert, who were his grandsons of his heart, a sister, Mildred Beeler of Indiana, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Dewey Keys, Sr. officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be 1-6 PM Sunday, and after 9 AM Monday at the funeral home.

Jimmy Dale Rock of Hodgenville
Jimmy Dale Rock, age 60 years, of Hodgenville, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was a farmer, an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan, and was retired from Modern Welding in Elizabethtown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy "R.J" Rock, Jr. and a granddaughter, Chyanne Lanea Rock.
He is survived by his wife, Bonita Rock; a daughter, Jessica Rock of Hodgenville; two sons, Craig Rock of Hodgenville and Kevin Rock of Upton; his mother, Alberta Sue Viers Rock of Hodgenville; a grandson, Derek Rock and a brother, Randal Alan (Jill) Rock of Lawrenceburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Clayton Rock officiating. Burial will follow in the Barren Run Church Cemetery.

Duell L. Johnson of Buffalo
Duell L. Johnson, of Buffalo, was born February 4, 1928 in Green County to the late Emmett and Gertie Johnson and passed away, Friday, February 6, 2015.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Posse Club.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Leon, Delbert, David, Juanita and Leona.
He is survived by a daughter, Lesslie Johnson; two grandchildren; two step-children, Pamela Walters and Russell Head; five step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Eugene, Wayne, Doyle and Otis and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Guy Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery.
Visitation begins after 10:30 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
Madison "Mac" Mather of Hodgenville
Madison "Mac" Mather, age 100 years, of Hodgenville, passed away, Friday, February 13, 2015 at his residence.
He was lifetime farmer; especially proud of his tobacco crop. He orchestrated the tobacco exhibit at the LaRue County Fair for several years. He was a former deacon and member of South Fork Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lena Allen Mather, a son, Wayne Mather, two sisters, Leona Mather Terry and Margie Mather, and two brothers, Robert Mather and Donald Mather.
He is survived by a son, Ronald Dale Mather, and his wife, Beth of Elizabethtown, daughter-in-law, Linda Mather of Elizabethtown, and five grandchildren, Al Mather of Elizabethtown, Casey Mather of Chicago, Illinois, Mary Elizabeth (Matt) Mather-Hamby of Los Angeles, California, Rev. Sarah Mather of Denver, Colorado, and Griffin Madison Mather of Bowling Green.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Jonathan Carl, Rev. Gordon McDowell, and Rev. Sarah Mather officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1-7 PM Sunday, and after 9 AM Monday at the funeral home.
