Mitchell Dale Brown of Hodgenville
Mitchell Dale Brown, age 61, of Hodgenville, passed away, Thursday, November 27, 2014 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, a farmer, and a former employee of the LaRue County Highway Department.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin "Jr." Brown.
He is survived by his mother, Mavis Brown of Hodgenville, a brother, Jerry (Janice) Brown of Elizabethtown, a nephew, Dewain Brown of Elizabethtown, and a great-nephew, William.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Josh Hutchens officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM Saturday, and after 9 AM Sunday at the funeral home.
Ralph Preston Nichols of Hodgenville
Ralph Preston Nichols, age 69, of Hodgenville, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 25, 2014.
An accomplished entrepreneur, he was an Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War, achieving the rank of SGT and was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Matilda Reed Nichols and Henry Lawrence Nichols; three brothers, Roger Nichols, W.L. Nichols and an infant brother, Jesse Ray Nichols.
He is survived by a daughter, Monica (Bill) Lavely; a granddaughter, Nikki Lavely; a great-granddaughter, Sophia Shelton; five sisters, Velma (Delma) Wells, Christine (Jimmy) Smith, Carloyn (Pete Fulkerson) Beville, Wanda (Craig) Richards and Rita (Charlie) Garrett and three brothers, John (Donna) Nichols, David (Pat) Nichols and Damon (Diane) Nichols.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Billy Curle officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM, Friday and after 10 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.
Donald Peter Eisenhardt of Hodgenville
Donald Peter Eisenhardt, age 79, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
He was a member of the House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Elizabethtown, a retired nuclear engineer for the Bechtel Corporation, and a Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sebastian and Teresa Schmitt Eisenhardt, and a brother, Richard Joseph Eisenhardt.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce York Eisenhardt, two daughters, Donna L. (Greg) Lena of Massachusetts, and Diane Jo (Gary) Spitler of Pennsylvania, two sons, Donald R. (Mitzi) Eisenhardt of Florida, and Joseph S. (Elisa) Eisenhardt of Pennsylvania, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family has chosen cremation, and there will be a memorial service at his church.
Frances Cromwell Eans of Hodgenville
Frances Cromwell Eans, age 85, of Hodgenville, passed away, Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
She was a member of Salem Christian Church and was a retired telephone operator for GTE South having become one the first members of the GTE South "Hall of Fame".
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Eans; her parents, John and Maggie Reed Cromwell; two brothers, George Edward Brown Sr. and Curtis Cromwell.
She is survived by a sister, Helen Cromwell (Billy) Duncan of Hodgenville; a brother, Melvin (Jennie) Cromwell of Sonora; a sister-in-law, Catherine Brown of Hodgenville; three nieces, Cyndi Rowe, Deana McNary and Marsha Duncan; four nephews, John and Dale Brown, Derek and Brian Cromwell.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Bennett-Bertram funeral Home in Hodgenville, Rev. Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Christian Church Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation will be 3 to 8 PM Saturday and after 10 AM Sunday at the funeral home.
Teresa Lynn Jeffries Allen of Hodgenville
Teresa Lynn Jefferies Allen, age 51, of Hodgenville, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, worked as a lab tech for Dr. Faheem's office for 12 years and was an avid UK fan. Teresa never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone, especially loving her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Linda Lou Burris Jeffries.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Randy Allen; a daughter, Amber (Huey) Thompson of Hodgenville; a son, Clayton (Gina) Jeffries of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren, Kendalyn Thompson, Autumn Jeffries, Heath Thompson, Courtney Jeffries and Rachel Halchischick and a brother, Billie Ray Jeffries of Hampton, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, April 18, 2016, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Mike Akridge officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Church Cemetery near Sonora.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 PM, Sunday and after 9 AM, Monday at the funeral home.

Barbara Fay Alford Barnes, age 61, of Buffalo, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit in Louisville.
A former Nurse's Aide for Sunrise Manor Nursing Home, she attended Salem Christian Church and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and loved to cook.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Barnes and her parents, Charles Raymond and Mintha L. Montgomery Alford.
She is survived by five sisters, Gladys, (J.B.) Crain of Millwood, Virginia Thompson, Vickie (Vic) Kahill, Judy Alford and Norma Alford all of Hodgenville; a sister-in-law, Phyllis (Bradley) Ward; a step-daughter, Tina Barnes; a half-brother, James Louis (Linda) Alford of Campbellsville; nieces and nephews, Chuck (Tina) Crain, Gary Thompson, Huey (Amber) Thompson, Randy Sheldon Jr., Veronica (Jeremy) Price, Chance Sheldon, Shane (Danielle) Alford, Dustin Lee (Emily Larimore) Ray, Joe Tucker, Jack Tucker, Gsxer Ray and Arai Ray.
