Ruby Lee Garrison of Buffalo
Ruby Lee Garrison, age 78 years, of Buffalo, passed away, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church, former cook at the Buffalo Elementary School, a homemaker, longtime member of the LaRue County Cattleman's Association and the Buffalo Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Lennie Ford Skaggs, and two brothers, James Robert "Bob" Skaggs and Jesse "Duck" Skaggs.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Garrison, three daughters, Diane (Keith) Bault, Debbie (Philip) LaRue and Michelle (Todd) Rogers all of Hodgenville, four grandchildren, Blake (Aletha) Bault of Elizabethtown, Bryan Bault of Richmond, Clay Rogers and Bailey Rogers both of Hodgenville, one great-granddaughter, Harper Nicole Bault, three sisters, Joyce (Charles) McCoy of Munfordville, Regina (Terry) Mosley of Upton and Sherry (Harold) Webb of Hodgenville, a brother, Glenn (Teresa) Skaggs of Buffalo, and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Ken Garrison and Rev. Roger Pepper officiating. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-7 PM Saturday and after 11 AM Sunday at the funeral home until time for services.

Revonnia Sue Bell Atwell of Mt. Sherman
Revonnia Sue Bell Atwell, age 58, of Mt. Sherman, passed away, Friday, April 29, 2016, at her residence.
Sue was a member of DeZarn Chapel in the Creal community of Green County and was a US Postal Office worker serving as current Postmaster at Buffalo Post Office and former Postmaster at the Mt. Sherman Post Office.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Glen Atwell; a son, Jason Edward Atwell; her father, William G. "Bill" Bell; Stephen Pierce and a brother, Mike Bell.
She is survived by three children, Glenetta (Keith) Shoffner, Stefanie Pierce and Billy (Chrystal) Pierce all of Mt. Sherman; her mother, Margie DeSpain Towles; three siblings, Seretta (Jerry) Parnell of Columbia, Renetta Underwood of Greensburg and Curt (Roni) Bell of Mt. Sherman; five grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Olivia West, Hunter Shoffner, Mason Shoffner and Brilee Pierce and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM (ET), Monday, May 2, 2016, at the Otter Creek Separate Baptist Church, South Otter Creek Road, Buffalo, KY with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 11 AM (ET), Monday at the church.

Billy King of Hodgenville
Billy Chester King, age 60, of Hodgenville, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
Billy was baptized at a young age at the First Christian Church and was a member of the Hodgenville United Methodist Church. He worked for Metalsa in Elizabethtown for over 20 years, was an avid golfer and Harley Davidson enthusiast and loved vacationing and babysitting his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Basil E. King and his step-father, James O. Gilliland.
He is survived by a daughter, Kate (Spencer) Boley of Hebron; two sons, Caleb (Carrie) King of Versailles and Kyle (Cecilia Osborne) King of Hodgenville; his mother, Bessie Gilliland of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, Addison Elizabeth Boley, Leyton Spencer Boley, Maddox James Boley, Hudson Ellis Boley, Caroline Jean King and Savannah Ruth King; a brother, Benjamin B. (Susan) King of Kansas; a sister, Becky P. Smith of Kansas and the mother of his children, Roxann King.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, May 6, 2016, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 PM, Thursday and after 9 AM, Friday at the funeral home.

Carl Dunn of Hodgenville
Carl Wayne Dunn, 62, of Hodgenville, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was a member of Union Christian Church, an employees of Flint Group in Elizabethown, a lifetime farmer and a devout member of LaRue County Cattleman's Association. Carl was so proud of his purple martins and honey bees.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Dunn; and a sister, Barbara Loyall.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Dunn; a daughter, Carla (Joey) Dunn Allen of Hodgenville; his mother, Marie Dunn of Hodgenville; and a granddaughter, Kenzie Faith Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Brother Steve Campbell officiating. Burial follows in Union Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday and after 10 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Clayton Creech of Hodgenville
1SGT (Ret) Clayton Gerome Creech, age 89, of Hodgenville, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016, at his residence.
He retired as First Sergeant from the US Army after over 27 years of service and was a lifetime member of the NRA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Liz" Hester Creech; his parents, Robert and Rovvie Mae Davis Creech, Sr. and a brother, Buddy Creech.
He is survived by a daughter, Anna Maria Creech of Hodgenville; two sons, Clayton Robert Creech of California and William Roy Davis of Virginia; a sister, Ruth Creech Wilson; a brother, William Herbert Creech and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville with Rev. Jonathan Carl officiating.

Orval Curry of Hodgenville
Orval Junior Curry, age 87, of Hodgenville, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016, at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
He was a retired cabinetmaker for Lawson's Cabinets in Hodgenville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ruth Marcum Curry; a son Terry Lee Curry; his parents, two sisters, Valeria Pottinger and Luetta Strange and three brothers, John, Edgar and Rev. Harvey Curry.
He is survived by a son, John E. (Teresa) Curry; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a special friend, Frances Thomas of Hodgenville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, May 5, 2016, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM, Wednesday and after 9 AM, Thursday at the funeral home.
Doris Maryln Chandler of Buffalo
Doris Maryln Chandler, age 87 years, of Buffalo, passed away, Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Sims Chandler and a daughter, Vicky Gay Caprio.
She is survived by three daughters, Priscilla DeSpain and Brenda Joyce Lennon both of Buffalo and Cecelia McIlvoy of Seattle, Washington and two sons, Bernie Ross McIlvoy and David Wayne Chandler both of California.
The family has chosen cremation.
