Martyne Fulkerson of Hodgenville
Martyne E. Fulkerson, age 91, of Hodgenville, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016, at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
She was a member of Barren Run Baptist Church and along with her husband, owned and operated Paul's Pay Lake for 22 years. She was an avid quilter winning numerous awards and was especially talented in needlepoint.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnett and Verna Green Edwards and a brother, Charles Edwards.
She is survived by her husband, Paul N. Fulkerson; a step-daughter, Sherry L. (Danny) Sisco of Gallatin, Tennessee; a step-son, Ricky N. (Cynthia Ann) Fulkerson of Gallatin, Tennessee; a sister, Mary Sipes of Florence; a brother, Bobby Edwards of Dallas, Texas; a special cousin, Gary Edwards of Hodgenville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM, Monday and after 9 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mary Frances Hudgins Blanton Rama of Hodgenville
Mary Frances Hudgins Blanton Rama, age 93 years, of Hodgenville, passed away, Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Masonic Home of Louisville.
She was a member of the Hodgenville Christian Church, charter member of the Tonieville Homemakers, Sportsman Lake, member of the Golden Age Club, LaRue County Pork Producers, LaRue County High School Band Boosters, two-time Kentucky Colonel and an avid fisherman.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank S. Blanton, Jr. after 31 years and William McKinley "Mack" Rama after 26 years, and her parents, William Shelton and Thelma Cook Hudgins.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra L. (Robert) Cole of Louisville, her son, Frank (Jean) Blanton III of Sebring, Florida, three grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ray Pruden) Cripe, Michelle (Joel) Kartholl and Jeffrey (Tami) Blanton, two step-grandchildren, Jennifer (Ron) Putman and Julie (Danny Dowell) Ward, a nephew, W.C. Blanton, twelve great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Hodgenville Christian Church with the Rev. Gordon McDowell officiating.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville and after 10 AM Thursday at the church until time for services.

Alma Hornback of Upton
Alma Milby Hornback, age 100 years, of Upton, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, June 11, 2016 at her son's residence in Hodgenville.
She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Sonora and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Jesse T Hornback, her parents, Wesley Braxton and Mattie Mae Hines Milby, four sisters, Addie Atherton, Elsie Routt, Mildred Wright and Ora Hazle, two brothers, Roscoe Milby and Adrian Milby and a son-in-law, Ronald Wilson.
She is survived by three daughters, Verna Dean (Garland C.) Cottrell of Bonnieville, Dixie (Charles) Anderson of Decatur, Alabama and Carolyn Wilson of Esparto, California, a son, Gale (Gwen) Hornback of Hodgenville, 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM (EDT) Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Tony Carson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1-8 PM (EDT) Tuesday and after 9 AM (EDT) Wednesday at the funeral home.

Chris Shelton of Mt. Sherman
Chris Shelton, age 54, of Mt. Sherman, passed away, Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hospital Elizabethtown.
Chris was a member of the NRA and Big Blue Nation, a diehard conservative, an avid ATV rider, he was a tremendous athlete good at whatever he tried.
He is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Shelton of Greensburg; two sons, C J Shelton of Greensburg and Johnathan Slinker of Elizabethtown; his mother, Sharon Hager Shelton of Daytona Beach, FL and his father, Howard T. Shelton of Mt. Sherman; a sister, Staci Vititoe of Daytona Beach, FL; two grandsons, Nathaniel and Michael Slinker.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Johnathan Slinker officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM Wednesday and after 9 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
Billy Dean Lawless of Hodgenville
Billy Dean Lawless, age 76, of Hodgenville, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at his residence.
He was a member of the Hodgenville United Methodist Church, retired from dairy, grain and tobacco farming, and a United States Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Omra and Marie Snow Lawless.
He is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Diane Akridge Lawless, a daughter, Lisa (Ben) Terry of Elizabethtown, a son, Kelly (Denise) Lawless of Hodgenville, five grandchildren, Katie Perkins of Mobile, Alabama, Emily Perkins of Elizabethtown, Whitley (Caleb) Phelps, Michael Lawless and Keith Lawless all of Hodgenville, two step-grandchildren, Megan Cox of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Joel (Amanda) Terry of Union, KY, one great-granddaughter, Norah Grace Phelps, three step-great-grandchildren, Emery Cox, Greyson Terry and Rylen Terry and a sister, Betty Stevens of Adelanto, California.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Mike Akridge and Rev. Sharon Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.

Annie Marie Allen of Hodgenville
Annie Marie Allen, age 85 years, of Hodgenville, passed away, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Signature Healthcare Center of Elizabethtown.
She was an avid gardener and homemaker, who loved flowers and red birds.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Walter Allen, a daughter, Linda Mae Allen, a son, James "Peanuts" Allen, two step-sons, Bobby Allen and Charles Allen, a great-granddaughter, Hayley Horn, her parents, Dee and Nora Jones Underwood, three sisters, Mae Murphy, Velma Shoffner and Bettie Jane Underwood, and four brothers, Brown Underwood, Tom Underwood, Lee Underwood and Gilbert Underwood.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Cooper and Patsy (Larry) Morgan, five sons, Herbert (Margaret) Allen, Walter (Linda) Allen, Jimmy (Annette) Allen, Tommy (Wilma) Allen and Mark "Birddog" Allen, two brothers, William Eugene (Gracie) Underwood and John Underwood, seven grandchildren, Shelley Morgan, Michael (Dixie) Morgan, Megan (Denver) Elliott, Roger (Allyson) Cooper, Nicholas Allen, Danny Allen and Amber Allen and five great-granddaughters, Jaide Plouvier, Zoey Morgan, Lily Elliott, Dalayna Elliott and Madelyn Huhn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Josh Hutchens officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylor County.

Charles Edward "Ed" Fultz of Hodgenville
Charles Edward "Ed" Fultz, age 74 years, of Hodgenville, passed away, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was a longtime member of the Nolynn Baptist Church in Hodgenville, having earned the great distinction of 70 years of Sunday School Perfect Attendance, and was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Carrie Alice Hart Fultz, a sister, Ruth Brown and a brother, Donald Fultz.
He is survived by a sister, Martha Ann Drury of Hodgenville and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the Nolynn Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Flanagan officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Spring Cemetery in LaRue County.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Saturday and after 9 AM Sunday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville.
