Brenda Pedigo of Glasgow, formerly Linwood
Brenda Pedigo, age 75, of Glasgow, formerly of Linwood, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at the TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Creal Pedigo, and her parents, Estil and Gladys Simpson Smitha.
She is survived by a daughter, Tosha (Allen) Garmon of Glasgow, three sons, Thomas (Felicia) Pedigo of Gurley, Alabama, Terry Pedigo of Tennessee and Tony Pedigo of Georgia, two sisters, Donna Griesbaum of Indiana and Louise Gallatin of California, three brothers, Barry Smitha of Georgia, and Alfred Smitha and Phillip Smitha both of Louisville, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Thomas Pedigo officiating. Burial will follow in the Linwood Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM (EST) Friday and after 9 AM (EST) Saturday at the funeral home.
Robert LeRoy Hammond of Magnolia, formerly of Michigan
Robert LeRoy Hammond, age 68 years, of Magnolia, formerly of Michigan, passed away, Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at his residence.
He was a former Michigan State Police Officer.
He is survived by his wife, Diannia Hammond, three daughters, Shawn, Heather, and Stacy, two sons, Mark and Lance, two sisters, Judy and Toni, a brother, Tracy, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or service. The family has chosen cremation.
Andre Jayden Parrish of Magnolia
Andre Jayden Parrish, 13 day old son of Curtis and Bethany Parrish of Magnolia, passed away, Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville.
Along with his parents, he is survived by a sister, Isabella Bennett, his maternal grandparents, Timothy and Alisa Bennett of Magnolia, his paternal grandparents, Russell and Kathy Parrish of Magnolia, maternal great-grandmother, Shelia Bennett of Magnolia, and paternal great-grandparents, Rev. Daniel and Earmon Perkins of Magnolia and Martha Parrish of Horse Cave.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM (EST) Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Eudell Stilts officiating. Burial will follow on the Perkins Family Farm in Magnolia.
Visitation will begin after 12 noon (EST) Tuesday at the funeral home until time for services.
Doyt Merrill Perkins of Buffalo
Doyt Merrill Perkins, age 79 years, of Buffalo, passed away, Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the Kensington Center in Elizabethtown.
He was a longtime member and deacon at Pleasant Ridge Separate Baptist Church, retired from LG & E after several years of service, member of Pleasant Ridge Choir, faithful member of the Hodgenville Gideon Camp, former member of the Lincolnaires, lifetime farmer, an avid fisherman, and a craftsman of all trades.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Everett Perkins, Sr. and Alva Sprowls Perkins, and four brothers, Ray Perkins, James Everett Perkins, Jr., Paul Perkins and Claude Perkins.
He is survived by his wife, of 54 years, Phyllis Benningfield Perkins, two daughters, Bethany (Shannon) Bowen of Magnolia and Betsy Perkins of Hodgenville, two sons, Brian (Judy) Perkins of Loveland, Ohio and Brent (Paula) Perkins of Campbellsville, a sister, Glenda (Paul) Wathen of Hodgenville, two brothers, Maxie Perkins of Hodgenville and Roger (Arlene) Perkins of Buffalo, a granddaughter, Keeahna Bowen, and eight grandsons, Keiren Bowen, Kellen Bowen, Brennan Perkins, Blake Perkins, Bryce Perkins, Luke Perkins, Tyler Perkins and Kacy Perkins.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM (EST) Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Pleasant Ridge Separate Baptist Church in Mt. Sherman with Bro. Daryl Coe, Bro. Ronda Arnett, Bro. Gerald Gardner and Bro. Howard Ragland officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 1-8 PM (EST) Tuesday and 9 AM (EST) to 12 noon (EST) Wednesday at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia.

Marjory Hines of Magnolia
Marjory Hines, age 76 years, of Magnolia, passed away, Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of the Magnolia Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the Magnolia Lions Club, and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Mabel Thomas Cunningham.
She is survived by her husband, of 58 years, J.T. Hines, a daughter, Alison (Roger) Nally of Bardstown, a granddaughter, Rachel (Joe) Schwab of El Paso, Texas, a sister, Karen Whited of Lebanon, Tennesse, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Bill Macy and Bro. Anthony Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday, and after 9 AM Friday at the funeral home.
Jerry Cheshire of Hodgenville
Jerry Thomas Cheshire, age 47, of Hodgenville, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015, at his residence.
He was a former employee of Bud's Produce in Elizabethtown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frances Anthony Cheshire and a step-father, John J. Gerrity.
He is survived by a daughter, Ashley (Nick) Childress of Hodgenville; a son Cody Cheshire of New Haven; his mother, Emma Hutchison Gerrity of Hodgenville; a grandson, Noah Michael Childress; a sister, Glenda (Michael) Bennett of Mt. Sherman and four brothers, Frances "Mickey" (Debbie) Cheshire of Buffalo, Joseph Phillip Cheshire of New Haven, James Alan (Benita) Cheshire of Hodgenville and Terry Glenn (Sharon) Gibson of Buffalo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with burial to follow in the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in New Hope.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM, Wednesday and after 9 AM Thursday at the funeral home.

Linda Christine White, age 70 years, of Magnolia, passed away, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
She was a member of the Horse Cave Baptist Church, Munfordville Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #322, and a former secretary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David A. and Leona Dickerson Ferrell, a sister and three brothers.
She is survived by her husband, of 38 years, Bob White, two daughters, Krystal (Scott) Finger of California and Kimberly L. (Sean) Wilmert of Utah, a son, David Richard (Wanda) Maloy of Michigan, a step-daughter, Kimberly (Alan) Delrosario of Florida, two step-sons, Troy W. (Elise) White of Georgia and Robert D. White of Louisville, two sisters, Jo Anne Huffman and Sandra McGarity both of Georgia, and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon (EST) Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Horse Cave Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Denton and Troy White officiating. Burial will follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM (EST) Wednesday with an Eastern Star service at 7:30 PM (EST) at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia and after 10 AM (EST) Thursday at the church until time for services.

Nancy Lee Thompson, age 81 years, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was a former employee at Nationwide Uniform Corp. in Hodgenville and a member of Salem Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Donna Engle, her parents, Charlie and Nannie Jane Martin Metcalf, a sister, Barbara Stillwell, and three brothers, Ronnie Metcalf, Raymond Metcalf and Roy Metcalf.
She is survived by three daughters, Eugenia (Galen) Eads of Hodgenville, Becky Cantrell of New Haven and Sheila (Scottie) Grubb of Quality, two sons, Charles (Stephanie) Thompson and Duane Thompson both of Hodgenville, two sisters, Beulah South and Joyce (Bob) Roberts both of Hodgenville, a brother, Lonnie Metcalf of Hodgenville, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in White City.
